I wasn't sure what Mimi and Kari's Charisma scores were compared to Sora's. I guess Mimi is the one with a natural inclination for Charisma?
Yes. She is. As pointed out at the very beginning of the quest she had the best Charisma stat. I know it's been awhile, but I would have thought getting an idea on what each character was good at would be important to most people.

[X] Keep questioning the Guardromon.
-[X] What makes him think other Digimon don't like machines?
-[X] Explain to him that maybe it's important to know why a fight's happening before joining in.

I know that Tai is supposed to be good at Charisma and that Sora's stats have been going up during the quest. I have no idea what the other DigiDestineds' current stats are or their comparison to Sora's stats.

In comparison with Sora is relatively easy. Sora's been built as the all rounder, she's basically B-rank in everything, but say Tai has A Charisma, C intelligence.
Makes Sora the perfect partner for whoever she's with at the moment, though a bit of a third wheel in a full party because everyone does something better.

So we're the Maki of this generation.

Far Too Stubborn
"...I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure you should know the reason for a fight before you join it," You say. If not, and you picked the wrong side... well, that'd be a disaster.

"WHY?"

"Because you shouldn't commit to something unless you know what it entails?" That just seems like common sense... then again, this is the Digital World. Sense has no place here.

"YOU DO NOT SOUND VERY SURE OF THAT."

"I've never had to consider this before! Most people consider this kind of thing a given."

"WELL, MAYBE THAT IS A PROBLEM WITH OTHER PEOPLE." You wonder about this Digimon. More specifically, you wonder if whatever Primary Village he came from just... forgot to teach him how to care about things.

Given how many Digimon are in one of those villages at a time, it wouldn't surprise you. Any caretakers that are there are probably very overworked.

"Okay, speaking of other people..." Change the subject, because while convincing a Digimon that he should have a proper reason to fight is important, you could always just point him at The Colosseum and let the Digimon in File City deal with him. This isn't necessarily your problem. "Why do you think they don't like machines? I haven't seen a lot of machine Digimon so far, so I don't really know any of this."

"THEY DO NOT TALK TO ME. AND POWERFUL FORCES ARE KNOWN TO REPROGRAM MACHINE DIGIMON ON OCCASION, TO SERVE THEIR DESIRED PURPOSES. ALSO, THEY TEND TO TARGET ME WHENEVER I JOIN IN ON FIGHTS."

"I think that last one may be more of a personal problem..." Does he just... like fighting? Okay, sending him someplace with tournament matches would probably be a good idea... "People tend to object to having their fights randomly interrupted."

"WHY? IT APPEARS THAT THE WHOLE POINT OF A BATTLE IS TO PROVE YOURSELF STRONGER THAN ANYONE ELSE."

"That..." That's not the whole thing, you get that, but you don't really have a way to put it into words. The Guardromon seems to take that as his point being proven, and walks back into the dust cloud.

You'd worry about him going into a fight against... honestly, probably everyone, but that's his decision, and you're going to respect that. All things considered, that could have gone much worse.

And, well, you still have another Digimon to interro- to question. Another Digimon to question.

[ ] Handle the Golemon yourself.
-[ ] Why is the fight happening?
-[ ] Has he seen any signs of Tai or Matt?
-[ ] ...Does he know what the deal was with that Guardromon?

[ ] Let Izzy handle it.

[ ] Let Mimi handle it.

[ ] Let Joe handle it.

[ ] Give the job to the kids.

[X] Let Mimi handle it.

Let's just process what happened and give the one that actually is good with Chaarisma a shot.

[X] Ask the others if one of them wants to take a crack at it.

Let's let the others have some autonomy, rather than tossing someone at the problem.
