Okay, right. Hostile Digimon... at least you have a decent idea for how to deal with those without involving MegaKabuterimon. As long as it's a Champion, anyway, and you think Golemon is, so it should work out.
Maybe. "Birdramon, how fast can you ram into a giant Digimon made of stone?"
"...I'm not sure I like this idea." Your partner sounds nervous, and, okay, thinking back over your suggestion, you can't blame her. You maybe didn't word that in the most reassuring way.
"You're allowed to use fire if you want," You add. "Just... maybe get it away from us?"
"When we get home, I want ice cream." You can do that. It'll be painful, but... well, she's already taken off without giving you the chance to say no. You guess you'll be getting her ice cream later, if this works.
Birdramon is, in fact, covered in fire when she slams into Golemon, and it does knock the other Digimon off balance. Sort of.
...Look, it's made of solid rock. Maybe not something fire can solve as well as it can everything else, you'll have to remember that later.
On the other hand, that does buy time for Ikkakumon to... fire a horn into the battlefield, which explodes under Golemon's feet. Digimon are still weird. So you think you can still claim you had something to do with the belligerent Champion hitting the ground, just... not the whole thing.
MegaKabuterimon then goes in to drag the two unconscious Digimon out of the battlefield, which is probably a good thing. You went through all this trouble to knock out two combatants, no reason to do something as wasteful as let them get stepped on.
...Honestly, given how vicious the fighting is over there, you may have just saved these two Digimon's lives. You still can't see things farther away pretty well, but you do know what tends to happen when there are constant explosions going off.
"I think we should wake up the Guardromon first," Izzy suggests. "If only because, if things go badly, we can just turn him off again." You still can't understand why a living being would have a power button. Why would a living being have a working power button?
"That sounds like a good idea," Mimi agrees. "But... who's going to do the talking?" That's a good point. Particularly when you're not entirely sure what needs asking in the first place.
