Yeah, no. Short of going Ultimate I don't see us having a chance to solo this.

[X] Try and find a safe spot to land, check your Digivice... try not to get stepped on.
-[X] Just search for one.

Though, I feel it must be asked, is the dust cloud so large that our Digivice wouldn't be able to scan the area around it from just outside it?

Well, since someone added a more agreeable-to-me version...

I don't even know the minimum range of that thing. Which is what Sora is probably going to use. Because for some incomprehensible reason she doesn't keep it at max range.

The most important thing to remember is this- when extremely high up in the air, do not pick fights you cannot win.

Now, to figure out whether or not this is actually your problem!

Not Entirely Your Problem
"Let's turn back for a bit," You suggest. "I don't think we can do anything with this on our own." Sure, you don't see any other fliers, but you imagine that has more to do with them having common sense.

Besides, you can barely see much of anything, so you could easily be wrong. You'll be able to make better judgement once you can properly use your eyes again.

Birdramon quickly agrees with you, turning around faster than you'd realized she could. Clearly, she doesn't like being here, either.

You can't blame her.

Once you're out, you hurry back towards the others. "What's going on?" Izzy asks.

"It's a giant Digimon fight. I didn't get to see it very clearly, though... did you know large amounts of dust are painful to get in your eye?"

"Um... yes? I figured you knew what you were doing."

"Never assume that of me again." You don't think any of you really know what you're doing. Aside from maybe 'save the Digital World', or 'where are we supposed to find a portal?' Neither of which are very good ways to direct yourself when it comes to small things like this. "I feel like this is the kind of thing we should be doing something about, but I don't know what."

"I assume we'd be stopping it," Tentomon pitches in. Yeah, you were afraid of that.

"You'd have to fly through that, too, you know," Birdramon points out. Tentomon rapidly stops talking.

"Maybe we should see if there's anything important there, first," Joe suggests. "I mean, this can't be the only time something like this happens, right?"

"Digimon don't really group up outside of cities, though," Palmon comments. "Wait... isn't this near that part of the track that was blown up?"

"I think so," Mimi agrees. "You think they were trying to rebuild it?"

"Were appears to be the key word here," You sigh, fumbling for your Digivice and pressing the buttons. "Good news, Tai and Matt aren't mixed up in this. Bad news, that means we still haven't found them. On the bright side, we don't absolutely have to dive into there."

Patamon looks at you. "It's still probably the right thing to do, though."

"...Yeah, I know..."

Sora's DS: 810/840

[ ] ...But that doesn't mean you have to deal with it, right?
-[ ] Try going around and hoping you don't get sucked in.
-[ ] Just... Wait here until it's all over.

[ ] Okay, it's time to go into battle. You'll be attacking from the air.

[ ] You'll be fighting, but you'll be following along on the ground, and not flying directly into any dust clouds.

Use Birdramon to throw up noise and firework in the air to stop the fighting?
Honesty stepping back is a hit to our leadership.

Wouldn't you stop what you're doing when someone making huge racket in the sky in spite of the dustbowl

@SeekerofDreams, how quickly could Izzy do a local tweak to gravity or particle physics to get the dust to fall out and leave the air clear?
I'm not saying it's a good plan, but it would be an option worth considering...

Yeah, let's just run into a giant brawl we know nothing about and start beating the shit out of everyone, that's a good idea. I'd prefer to wash our hands of this entirely, but that's probably OOC, so the next best thing is waiting for the brawl to end, then seeing what we can do.

I wonder who got their Crest Traits in the time we were gone. I mean, I'd assume Kari considering she had her Crest for so long. And maybe Matt for similar reasons.

We might not know who, but we know that apart from Izzy and Sora, there should be two others:
Also, half the team has their Virtue Traits now. But that's less important when the only Ultimate known to the current party is still MegaKabuterimon.
