Seems about the right amount of settling in before they're okay with Minako seeing other worlds. I could totally see Ansem the Wise being interested in meeting Mickey's own apprentice.

Because the interesting part of the story is when worlds start to vanish, and it reduces the chance of the quest dying in prologue hall. Also because most of the intervening period can be summarized in flashbacks etc.

Not too far off from where the story begins, depending on how long each turn is, while also giving us some time to prepare, train, and get used to the mechanics.
 
If we choose timeskip, would we be able to votes what happen during the skip? like say, we skip to 5 years before canon, would we get to vote what minako choose to specialize in and who she been interacting with?
 
How long until the next timeskip vote? I mainly only voted One Month so we can go to Radiant Garden and get trauma motivation to really take our training seriously. That, and I'm curious if Social Links carryover from Somebodies to their Nobody version.

There will be another timeskip, don't worry about it. Maybe somewhere around the time when we finally get a Keyblade.

    • A month has passed since you arrived here. Master Yen Sid trained you about the basics of magic, and while some of his instructions were hard to comprehend, with you being a kid, you are starting to get the hang of things after a while. You spend most of the time in his study room, reading a few dusty tomes and listening to his lectures about magic.

    So, after a month of training, you finally manage to cast your first magic spell... lighting a candle. Master Yen Sid tells you that it's a progress. You still have more time to learn considering that you're still growing.

    "That should be all for today..." Master Yen Sid says as he removes his hat and places it on his desk. "I have some errands to do. You are free to do whatever you want for today, but..." He shoots you a stern gaze. "Do not, in any circumstances, disturb my hat. This magical artifact is far too powerful for a novice like you to handle, so please refrain yourself from trying to use it."

    You nod after hearing the warning from Master Yen Sid. Seeing you nodding, he softens his expression as he pats your head.

    "Now... be a good girl while I am gone, little one. I will be back soon." And so, the old master leaves his study, leaving you behind. You are free to do whatever you want, except disturbing his hat.

    Still, it's not like he knows if you end up touching his hat. A little bit of testing won't hurt.

    World: Mysterious Tower
    Day: 30    ​

    Now that you are alone in the room, you can do a few things here. You can try training yourself to improve your magic. You can also check out some of the items in the room, like that suspicious chest right at the corner of the room. And of course, let's not forget about Master Yen Sid's hat. He did remind you to not disturb his hat, but you are curious about this thing, and it's not like you're going to damage it. Also, this tower is huge, and there are many things to do here, though you are unsure where to start.

    Well, here's the new update for this quest. Sorry that it's rather short, but at the moment, this is in preparation for the main plot which will come soon. So, what do you want to happen next? You can do a write-in if you want. Please vote, everyone!

    Might be a Treasure Chest, though you think Minako would already have the Tower Map by this point. Hmm, wonder if there'll be any mingling between Item Synthesis and Persona summoning...

    Also, Minako, come on: Yen Sid would obviously be able to tell you messed with his hat. Dude might not be flinging around Zettaflares, but he's insanely skilled with magic regardless. Then again, all he really needs to do is say "No magic training" to get you to fess up.
