Shaped like a coffin, there's something peculiar about this particular keychain, but you can't explain why. By equipping this on a Keyblade, you will gain access to Rebirth, which allows you to gain full health after taking a mortal blow ONCE during battle.
Because technically Death/Thanatos was Minako's first persona.
I know Persona 3 revolves around the theme of "Memento Mori" but the power of the Wildcard is powered and strengthened through unbreakable bonds, add that to the might and strength of an experienced "Keyblade Wielder" or "Keyblade Master" and you have the ability to defy fate and seal Gods. I just feel that the theme of our original Keyblade should be something else since Minako is going to be different from her canon self.

I know, I just think the results of Minako's training with her Keyblade will be inevitable even if she's not actively wielding it. Greater endurance, physical & mental stamina and magic reserves will just come from all the training she'll get from under Master Yen Sid. Also even if her personality is in-line with canon, she has a good chance of establishing D-links to support her in the future when she goes back to Iwatodai.
However, I will argue that a Keyblade Wielder can easily kill a God, barring the experience, competence, and skills of the one who wields it. The "Keyblade War" did break the World resulting in the creation of the multi-verse. Plus a Keyblade can "lock" or "unlock" anything due to its metaphysical weight and connection to "Kingdom Hearts" - so I'm pretty sure Nyx can be sealed behind the door with a Keyblade.
Though regardless of the choice, the things above are what I'm hoping to come. Maybe they will, maybe they won't - depending on the QM. There's just so much lore form both Persona and KH that will be interacting together that things will get interesting.
Ah, this was long. Sorry, I'm just excited since both are high on the list of my favorite franchises.
Is it odd at all that I want to choose based on what the keychain represents? The first is his Fool Persona Orpheus, the second represents Philemon, and the third is Thanatos/Pharos.
Memento Mori. You instinctively know the name of the keychain. You take it one last look before you put it into your pocket.
"Let us head back to your room, little one..." Master Yen Sid says as he heads over to the stairway. You gingerly follows after him. "Sleeping on the floor cannot be healthy for you."
"S-sorry, Mr. Yen Sid..." you say, feeling embarrassed.
"You also need to properly rest so that we can start your training. While I do not expect you to get a Keyblade this soon, I still have to prepare you with all the basics. Which means you will learn how to properly use magic..." Master Yen Sid tells you as he continues walking up the stairway.
"Magic? Wow..." you say, feeling giddy. "Will I be as good as Mr. Mousey if I study hard?"
Master Yen Sid stops as he glances over his shoulder. "Of course. Mickey is a Keyblade Master, after all. You can learn a lot of things from him."
"Mmm!!" You nod happily. Soon, the two of you reach your room. Master Yen Sid opens the door and beckons you to enter. Slowly, you step into the room and look at the bed that has been prepared.
"This is Mickey's old room, and from now on, you will be the one using it," Master Yen Sid tells you. "If you need anything from me, you can find me in my study."
"Um..." you say as you look at the old master's face. "Mr. Yen Sid, I..."
"What is it, little one?" Master Yen Sid inquires.
You bow to him gratefully. "Thank you. I'm really glad that you're willing to take me in..."
Master Yen Sid smiles as he brings his hand onto your head, ruffling your hair. "Please, do not mention it, little one. It was Mickey who brought you here. The one you ought to show your gratitude to is him."
"W-well, I..." you stammer, feeling flustered.
"Well, if it bothers you, then try hard to be a good Keyblade wielder like Mickey. I will be monitoring your progress..." Master Yen Sid says. "I'm sure there are great things awaiting you in the future..."
Master Yen Sid then steps back as he then moves to make his exit.
"Now, have some rest. Once you are fully prepared, then we can start your training..." Master Yen Sid says as he smiles. "Goodnight, little Minako."
And with that, Master Yen Sid exits the room, heading back to his study. You put yourself on your bed, mulling over everything that has happened to you. From now on, you will be working to be a Keyblade wielder just like Mickey, and you are wondering what sort of things awaiting you in the future.
Resting your head against the pillow, you are starting to get sleepy. Slowly, you drift off to sleep.

Alright, now that's the end of the prologue. I hope you like it. So, for the next update, it is up to you to decide which point of timeline do we start out? Or you can just start right ahead without time skip. It is up to you guys. So, please vote, guys!
How many years will it be before the events of KH1 take place? Just so I can figure out how long we would've had to train for the 5 years before or 1 year before choices.
Regarding Time-Skipping vs. No Time-Skipping, what effect would it have on her ability and stat progression? Like, would No / Lower Time-Skipping have a risk/reward value where Minako could with the right/wrong actions be stronger/weaker than she automatically would of been?
For example, could Minako get a better Social Link rank with Yen Sid and Mickey if we don't Time-Skip (as far)? Would there be branching events we otherwise wouldn't get to pick (like No Time-Skip canon letting Minako decide when she first visits Disney Town)?
Basically, is there any meaningful reason not to Time-Skip? I'm guessing there'll be some options given to retroactively decide what Minako did, like a vote for her initial spells.

If my source is to be believed, it's 10 years from now. Or lesser, because it's already a few months after Birth by Sleep. So, it's about 9 years and a couple months before Kingdom Hearts.

Hmm, so No / Lower Time-Skip is mainly comestic and just to personally witness these events rather than be merely summarized? Mean, unless you're adamant about the specific progression of her abilities, there'll naturally be some (albeit minor) differences...
Ultimately, I think the better question is: Which point in the timeline would be best for a detailed visit to Radiant Garden just before it all goes horribly wrong? Having Minako personally know what Ansem and Terranort look like would let her deliver that reveal early.

According to wiki, Radiant Garden turned into Hollow Bastion 9 years before Kingdom Hearts. So, I guess the only options where we can visit Radiant Garden before it turned into Hollow Bastion are the first three options.
