Yeah... It's coming back. You know its amazing what three months and a Naruto fic can do for the creative juices. Plus with Volume 6 over and done. ideas were formed.

Tomorrow the vote will be called.

calling the vote... The girl with red hair wins. Say hi Pyrrha!

Act 1: Welcome To Sanctum Part 2: The Girl with Red Hair
Act 1: Welcome To Sanctum Part 2: The Girl with Red Hair

You turned to look at the girl with red hair and said "Hi."

The girl looked at you with curiosity. "Hello." She said politely before looking back to the stage.

"I'm Nigredo." You said your name, offering your hand.

"I'm Pyrrha." She replied but she did not accept the handshake.

"Are you alright?" You asked, letting your hand fall down. "Because you don't look so good?"

The girl's composure than relaxed, and she smiled. "No… I'm just a normal girl who wants to be a huntress."

Her smile was infectious, and you found yourself smiling with her.

"Nigredo, you already trying to get rid of me?" Albedo said as his head moved into view from behind you.

"GAH!" You shouted as you leaned back into your chair. "I just wanted to talk to someone without you always butting in!"

Pyrrha's eyebrow raised in confusion as she examined your brother. "Who is this?"

"My brother." You replied. "The annoying one."

"Don't worry, I'm the good looking one. Names Albedo." Albedo replied with a smile before pointing at you with his thumb. "Don't believe a word this one says, he lies."

That made Pyrrha giggle, her hands covering her mouth so she did not continue any more than she already had.

You looked back at Albedo and frowned. Albedo was not amused. "What?"

"You're insufferable." You stated.

"At least I'm funny." Albedo shot back.

"Oh please, you couldn't crack a joke if you had a joke book with you." You said.

"At least I don't look like an idiot when I talk to someone you've never met before." Albedo said.

"Are you two always like this?" Pyrrha asked as she saw you both continue bickering.

"No!/Yes." You and Albedo said.

Than Albedo opened his mouth and asked. "Hey… so Pyrrha do you have any goals here? Do you want to try to win the Sanctum Tournament or something?"

The girl's composure than shifted, looking at you and your brother with discomfort. Then she looked up to the ceiling, away from everyone around her. "I want to have a friend. A best friend who I can count on."

You and Albedo both looked at each other. The silent conversation you had as you gazed into each other's eyes was immediate.

When you looked at her, you nodded to your brother. "We could be your friends." You said. "If that's what you want?"

Pyrrha's face went red, and for a moment you thought you saw tears in her eyes. It was as if no one had ever really offered her that kind of friendship. After all, you and Albedo knew how it felt to be like that for a long time before you both hid from into the world of books, codes, and dead languages. "But we just met?"

"So? The key to friendship is opening the door to anyone who might need it." Albedo replied. "Besides, we don't really have any friends, back home or here."

"All we have is each other and our family." You finished. "So friendship a new thing for us, so just offering it willy-nilly might not be the best idea, but it's the only one we got."

Pyrrha, than laughed. She laughed so hard the entire crowd around them looked to see what the commotion was.

"Students." You looked forward to see the voice that was speaking to everyone. On the stage, there were quite a few teachers standing before them, the teachers that would teach you how to be a huntsman.

But the man speaking on the mic was a horse faunus with a long beard, a short sleeves shirt and a bow and arrow stung up onto his back. "I welcome you to Sanctum Academy."

Then he walked away.

"Did we just miss a speech?" You asked.

"It probably wasn't anything important." Albedo stated.

"Would Nigredo and Albedo Burgundy please come to the front of the Auditorium." A voice spoke over the loudspeaker, as the students left the auditorium.

"See you later Pyrrha." You said, waving to her as you and Albedo walked to the front.

When you reached the front, two men were standing on the stage, and the rest of the student body was escorted out. When all the students left, and the doors shut, the horse faunus tapped the stage with his feet. "So, you two still need your aura activated."

"Wait, how do you know that?" You asked.

The other teacher, with the three-piece suit and fluffy, well-trimmed mustache, shook his head. "He can sense aura. It's his semblance." The man did not sound that impressed but still said it anyway with an air of mystery and mystique.

"Forgive my collouge," There was a sharp and noticeable clamp of hooves. "My name is Professor Chiron, I will be your Headmaster for your time here at Sanctum Academy... the esteemed gentleman beside me is Arthur Watts. He will be in charge of your basic weapons training, aura studies and research until you reach a passable level to join the rest of the students of your class." Chiron stated. "I trust that both of you will show Dr. Watts the excellence that I heard from your mother and father."

You and Albedo bowed. "We will sir." You both said at the same time.

Chiron than nodded before looking at Dr. Watts. "I trust you can handle this from here?"

Dr. Watts bowed. "Of course sir." The man then looked at you and Albedo. "Follow me."

He led you out of the auditorium into a large arena area that had stood like an old amphitheater that you saw from old archeologist dig sites.

"I heard from your parents that you do not have any weapons training. I have assembled weapons for you to chose from. They are not mechashift weapons as you need to build one from scratch. Now chose one of each type of weapon, and we will begin training."

What Firearm do you take:

What Melee Weapon do you take:

All weapon skills will be to novice.

AN: Enjoy.

Oh crap.

[?]Some kind of Rifle
[X]Staff

Staff because I remember at least a few people wanting one, rifle because we are definitely getting a mechashift at some point, and a rifle seems like it would be easiest to combine with a staff, as long as it isn't too bulky.

Also, @Magoose, there were several instances of "than" instead of "then" in that update.

Woah, didn't know you were doing a RWBY quest (man how many quests are there)

As for weapon....hmmm

[] Rope dart

[] Desert eagle

Taking some gun ideas cause don't know much about fire-arms. As for rope dart, we manipulate electricity, right? May as well synergies it with our weaponry.

[X] Kusarigama
[X] Revolver

A melee weapon to conduct electricity. Useful for tripping people up.

I'll change to staff if no one goes for it.

And a sidearm we can learn to imbue indivdual bullets with electricity, maybe.

I can believe I didn't think of this before, but maybe we should use an axe. Jarnbjorn, Thor's axe!

And when we meet Nora and her warhammer, we can be thunder buddies.

Actually, we would be great team mates as we can generate electrity and she needs to absorb electricity. Good synergy. (I think?)

To clarify, the Kusarigama I'm proposing is a short sickle attached to bar weight by a long length of chain, all metallic.

You hold onto one end and throw the other to trip up enemies, or set it up to tie their legs, an arm, and electrify it.

Otherwise, I suggest an axe (Jarnbjorn!) or a collapsible metal staff.
