Prologue: Chapter 8
As enticing the idea of killing all the guards who kept you trapped in here was, you wouldn't dare risk your freedom when you were so close. This village will feel your full wrath in due time. You swiftly walked out of the cell and moved to the left, running down the hallway as fast as you could. Your body was unused to such movement after so many years and quickly tired out, but Gekki was proving his worth as you saw no guards at all. After catching your breath you ran up a stairway and made it to another hallway.

It was similarly empty, but you noticed the cells had proper bedding and a toilet, most likely they were being used. Perhaps the prisoners were taking their showers or being forced to do labor, but it mattered not. You pulled out the map to regain the directions and moved forward until you reached the top floor of the prison. The map had led you to the back entrance of the prison, which was much less known about to most people according to the note Gekki wrote. You quickly pushed through the door and for the first time in decades, smelt fresh air.

It was currently night time and you were in an unassuming back alley, most likely a hidden entrance to the prison when stealth was needed. You pushed your feeble host body to the limit until you were as far away from the prison as you could be! You ducked into another alleyway, gasping in lungfuls of air. You had escaped the prison, all thanks to Gekki's help. You briefly pondered if you should show him mercy or not the next time you saw him, but now was not the time. Your stomach growled loudly and now that you were away from the confines of the prison, you could properly smell yourself. You choked back a gag as you thought what to do...

[] Break into a nearby house. You need to cleanse yourself and eat proper food.

[] Focus on escaping. You aren't truly free until you're away from this damned village!

[X] Focus on escaping. You aren't truly free until you're away from this damned village

We probably have a rather limited time before the village goes on high alert. Getting out after it does is going to be much harder.

We can hopefully steal from some peasants or something once we're away from the village.

Looks interesting so far.
How are we status-wise? Because while I'd want to focus on escaping it'd be pointless if we collapse half-way due to exhaustion.

Prologue: Chapter 9
There was no time to waste, as long as you were in the Leaf, you weren't free. You rapidly ran from street to street, avoiding main streets whenever possible. Thankfully your host body had some rudimentary shinobi training, so after a bit of difficulty you were able to use chakra to move faster than usual. The downside to this is that it tired you out even faster, but you didn't care. You had to escape, you must escape! Eventually you reached a large, empty road that ended with the massive entrance to the Leaf Village. It was wide open, what fools!

You noticed a security booth which held a single shinobi. You held back a curse, your escape had been going very smoothly but you were unsure if you could even take out normal human, much less a shinobi! You ran and quickly hid behind a nearby tree near the booth. You steadied your breath as you thought of what to do. You could try to run past, but there was no way you could escape from the shinobi if he gave chase. You looked at your hands, your nails were fairly long, perhaps you could use those to stab him through the throat...if they were tough enough anyway.

However, your thoughts were interrupted as someone suddenly stood in front of you. It was the shinobi from the booth, he must've heard you! Or smelled you, more likely...

"Oh my god...are you okay, little girl?" the man gently asked, kneeling down to meet you eye to eye. "What happened to you?!"

Oh right, only the top brass of the Leaf knew your body was your host. But still, this wasn't good! If he finds out, you're done for...

What will you do?

[] Calm down. Perhaps you can manipulate this man into helping you with some crocodile tears...

[] Gouge out his eyes with your nails and escape!

[] Grab the man by the throat and tell him to forget you saw him, or else you will make his life a living hell.

[] Use your killing intent to stun the man, then kill him!

Pyro thought of this kinda-alignment system. These will modify Kurama's personality a bit and will be ranked in numerical increments in the databook section below. The mechanics will come once the seal starts being broken down, in which the points can be cashed in for thematic abilities. You can remain ignorant if you wish, but I've placed the full skill trees at the bottom of Kurama's databook if you desire planning ahead. I also updated the databook.

-Man: The cunning and versatile one. The wrath is always there, but it could be hiding behind a stoic expression. Or it could be exploding full force. Man is unpredictable, but also is held to personal honor and companionship that humans desire.

-Beast: The ferocious and wild one. The wrath is defensive and can be unleashed in a primal fury. The beast is not just a wild animal; they are fiercely protective of their pack and territory.

-Monster: The silent and vindictive one. The wrath is a terrible vengeance that will harry the prey and torment them. The monster takes from those that cross them, destroying everything they care about until their lives are ruined.

-Demon: The sadistic and destructive one. The wrath is an intense, raw anger that is ever prevalent. Woe be to those that stand in the demon's way.

TL;DR: Depending how you vote, you will gain points in a skill tree. Once you reach the proper amount, you can cash those points in for powerful abilities. I have also updated the databook for Kurama, and added the potential abilities you may get.

Think every choice will succeed. Just a matter of how it will succeed

At least until we can get him alone. Killing him here would cause too much of a scene... maybe we can get him to take us past the gate and kill him there, somewhere in the forest and well away from others, with an excuse. or cripple him and take him somewhere so we can pump him for info.

That, and maybe put him in a wheelchair with no limbs and his vocal chords cut out. No one would think to harm a little girl helping a disabled person. Hopefully.

Looking at the new skill trees, apparently there's something called a 'Mystery Box' mentioned in the Demon skill tree?

With the Mystery Box at your side, your Hatred can now be unleashed as a short range roar around you, giving it a much larger area and defensive capabilities.

Anyone know what that is?

Kuarma isn't actually evil, and I have no desire to play like he is.

P.S. well appparently Bujumbura actually are demons in this AI, fair enough.

Still don't want to be evil.

-[X] Some non-leaf ninjas are chasing you! You could really use some help...

I don't think we can back up that lie, unless he's an idiot. We're clearly a Hyuga, true, but if we tell him nin are chasing us he will try to take us somewhere safe and inevitably find out that they're Konaha nin, and we're the beast

*looks through databook*

Interesting set of options, more one invest one path, more points goes in there. Like the system, I like both Man and Beast, though Monster has its appeal as well.

Prologue: Chapter 10
"I...escaped....!" you gasped, trying your best to sound terrified and desperate. Thankfully, the shinobi seemed to take the bait, or was easily swayed by sob stories.

"Escaped? From where?" the man quickly asked, looking extremely worried.

"From a man's house...his name was Gekki!" you sobbed, managing to squeeze out few tears. It was the first name you could think of, but you didn't really care. "He kidnapped me...when I was a young girl..."

"Oh my god..." the man quietly said. "We need to get you to the police station, you-"

"NO!" you shrieked. "Anywhere but there! That's where he kept me locked up! He works there...!"

"H-how can I help then?"

"Get...get me away from this village! I wanna go home!" you cried, dropping to your knees. You absolutely hated doing this, pretending to be a scared little girl instead of the proud fox you were. But this dumb human was buying it completely!

"But your eyes...you're a Hyuga, aren't you?" the man asked, putting a hand on your cheek.

Resisting the urge to bite his fingers off, you quickly came up with a lie, "My...daddy was related to them...I think? I used to live on a farming town, I'm unsure..."

"Okay, okay. I can't do much but...hide in the booth for now, I'll get some help," the man said. You hid a smile as the man ran off. You didn't care what he was going to do, you were free! You ran out of the village gates and quickly hid in the forests, doing your best to stay off the trails. You kept on running until you physically couldn't anymore. You were still in the forest, now face down on the grass and dirt. And you were ecstatic. You were free...!

Seeing a small grove underneath the roots of a massive tree, you crawled under there and closed your eyes, having a restful sleep for the first time since you were imprisoned.

---

You awoke to a cool morning. Shaking your head and rubbing your eyes, you quickly stood up. You were painfully hungry at this point and you needed to eat. Now. Moving out of the grove, you quickly spotted a long branch that had fallen off the trees some unknown time ago. You scoured the ground until you found a rock with a reasonable edge on it and picked up the branch. You began to file down the point of the branch into a spear. It was very crude, but it was much better than nothing...

With your wooden spear, you carefully prowled the forest until you found a small rabbit. Thankfully, your hunting skills were as sharp as ever and you easily bagged your prey. You had no way to properly skin and cook the animal, so you merely tore off chunks and shoved them into your mouth. You couldn't taste much more than hot blood, but the warmth spread through your body and reinvigorated you! After having your fill, you looked around and sighed.

"I have to find a way to break this damned seal. But first..." you growled, looking down at your disgusting rags. You moved around the area until you heard the sounds of water. It was a small river, nice and secluded from any human life from what you could tell. You began to remove the rags, but hissed in pain as parts of the rags tugged on your skin. You were so filthy that parts of the rags had fused to your skin!

You were very careful remove the clothes, if you pulled too hard, you would tear off your skin! But small amounts was unavoidable. When you were finally ready, you stepped into the ice cold river. You hissed at the sudden cold, but you forced your way further down until only your head was above water. The pristine water was suddenly stained by the accumulated filth made by your host body, but you ignored that as you tried to clean yourself.

"I'm free...they must not know I escaped yet. Tch...it won't be long though..." you said to yourself. As long as you were in this feeble body, you couldn't simply hide within nature forever...

What will you do?

+1 to Man

The World is now open for Kurama! He has a general idea of the map of Jihopan (the name of the continent) so he'd know where to go. As for people Kurama knows, that's basically limited to the other Bijuu.

We need to head somewhere, the Leaf will never find us that means heading to not only a non-allied nation but a nation that keeps the Leaf out of its border leaving us with none of the minor countries and only Lightning, Earth, and Water. Lighting is out due to its extreme militancy and security leaving us with only Earth and Water to work with as far as nations and of these two options I prefer Water due to their relative isolation, lesser knowledge of the Leaf and the general chaos of the area making for a good cover.

I'd imagine we'll need to find a way of getting that money, though Kurama could simply rob people.

That has it's own disadvantages, as if that action is taken to much they might start hiring shinobi. Probably simply genin, but it might escalate if they suspect it's Kurama and not a random bandit.
