Cocoa is....tasty, but not a crop that is usefully for nutritious eating. Potatoes are useful for that somewhat. Banannas maybe?

@Arthellion, I know we are nomads, but do we get to somewhat choose our starting region? Like area on the continent. Asia is huge.

Well i technically meant to say the Better option in that post rather than the best.
But i think its better because on top of the benefits that Asia has it also has more diversity in terms of potential cultures to mingle with since we will be so close to the ME and Africa. I mean those are also a negative depending on perspective such as those that want isolation.

I think Island Japan or Island UK or Island Carribean are the best choices, due to naval isolation. I believe the England Area has more natural resources unlike Japan however,but might be wrong.
Antartica is IMO not so much hardmode but GG mode requiring absurd rolls merely to survive.

To be honest, I kind of want to become a land power rather than a naval power. Let's get into the meat of the action rather than staying semi-to-the-side as an island nation for large parts of history.

A case for the British Isles:
1. There can be a compromise between isolationists and those who want more interaction.
2. Strong natural resources.England is fertile ground for agricultural and anima husbandry. It's mineral deposits aren't bad either.
3. Solid opening into the future Atlantic trade.

Hey @Arthellion , is this world going to be the same as Earth geographically? Or is there going to be some differences in the general landscape?
(If so, I'd love to see a "Silk River" in Asia. I saw the concept in an old SB thread I think, and it was interesting to see discussed. It'd be very interesting to see actualized in a quest.)
Oh! And if possible, is there an "Icelandic" start, where we can start around the Greenland/Iceland area?
