Because Teachers are Heroes Too: No SV: You Are Headmaster of a Hero Academy

[]Lucent the Lightbringer: The Bringer of Hope and Peace in the waring lands of Breathtila, the Duelist of The North, and the Knight of the Sun. Born to a Minor Noble family, the Morningstars of Newbury, he excelled at combat and war, neglecting the studies of statecraft, court, and magic, except for his natural affinity for light and healing magic. He requested to be skipped over as successor to his family's estate, to adventure the continent. His parents granted his request, and he traveled South to seek his fortune fighting in the Schland's. Over the years, his combat experience and magical ability grew, as he cleaned the roads of bandits, destroyed the great monster Sigral of Hyporia, before it could destroy Cadscyr, and healing millions of people with his healing magic during the grey plague of Milthwaite as part of ending the war between itself and Breathtila. Wielding the Legendary Blade Lucens Ligabis, his swordsmanship is second only to the god of war Petrious himself. His attitude of seeing the best in people may make him seem naive, and his lack of formal training may make him seem dull and unprepared to teach students, but his power, skill and practical knowledge make him a formidable foe to anyone who dares cross him. Unfortunately, despite his great power and skill, he is despised by the Roamians and the Schwarzen's, for his actions in Mithwaite healed the Army of Hyporia, allowing it to ravage the lands to the south, and for being a speaker of animal's like the remainder of his family, which is considered heretical in the lands of the south.
... Ahh, damn you. I read most of that reboot too, long after it was dead. I'm assuming the others are references in some way.

No comment other then that he's compatent.

Yeah, that's what I thought he can protect his students he would not be a hero otherwise but if that did happen his combat style is situational and conditional to better leverage his strength that is his intellect. Situations or enemies that disregards intellect or more smarter enemies are going to be a pain in the ass.

The rule of anime is that the Headmaster is always the last line of defense
Or the first line, causing the students to go through character development, get second wind with one of them pulling a power out of their ass and launch a counter attack that saves the school in a the nick of time.:V

Or scatters them across the far corners of the world and makes them venture on an odyssey that allows them to grow and counter attack.:V

Or it reveals who the true protagonist and villain is with the staff being nothing more then sacrificial lambs.:V

Come on guys healing magic Lucen is not only strong enough to protect his student he could also saved them when they are injured or near death. Also he has practical experience in the world so he could teach his students the things that formal education and training that can never be taught.

No. Please read again.

A master of non combat skills, he ain't.

Yeah I know what I am looking at is his Healing magic which lessen casualties for our students and staff when they do stupid things and the like. I mean living students are better than dead ones who think they are hotshots and all. The second thing is his practical experience. Yeah he doesn't have any formal education and training but things he learned while traveling around the continent will be invaluable lessons to his students and might keep them alive. Also he has the ideals of being a hero spot on.
