Tsun is basically some sort of Frankenstein's monster-esque patchwork corpse abomination; new parts were needed before he had his regeneration, so Cynric just stuck a bunch of different bodies parts on him (which is also why he has two sets of arms). I believe still he's mostly made of Saito, but his head definitely isn't, hence the different hair colour.

You forgot that he is also SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT.

"Yeah, no. You win the worst family award, hands down. Come on Ruby, she's right. We should at least give mom a chance."
Alright to continue the family disaster tests, we need to go to NGE next.

I mean where does Shinji rank on this considering all the people we've met so far with disastrous family relations. I think Louise is still winning, followed by our MC, followed by Shinji but then we have everyone else to group up.

A Hint Of Malice
"My little babies grew up without me and they hate me. I can't fix this on my own!" Hinata relayed, reading the ghost's lips with nary a stutter or blush. "What should I do, Tai?"

The little noble child had come quite a ways in their time together, though the recent excitement was probably partially responsible. Still it was a good sign and Louise would take what sense of accomplishment she could from the small success in guiding the girl. She could only hope that her own few and mediocre achievements made her teacher feel similar... or at least enough not to give up on her.

"I don't hate her." Ruby protested, dragging her back to the unpleasant present.

"Oh gods, she called dad?!" Yang shrieked, ignoring her little sister in favor of reaching into her pocket. When she didn't find what she was looking for, she dove for Ruby's nightstand and began rummaging.

Having just about used up all of her patience for the day and left with nowhere near enough to deal with their nonsense, Louise dropped intangibly through the floor. Smacking the scroll from Summer's see-through hand, she stomped down on it to end the mystery call. The apparition jumped in surprise and tried to complain, but went silent as she stared with crossed eyes at the dainty finger extended toward her nose.

"Now that I have your attention, I've managed to defend your honor... though I'm not sure I should have bothered if this is what you do at the first sign of resistance. As the matron of your line, it is absolutely deplorable that you would flee in such a manner." The pinkette chided, silently glad that the woman was short enough that she didn't need to Levitate to achieve the pose. "I may not know how your people's classes are divided, but surely even the lowest of the low are taught better than that sort of behavior."

Summer looked on in obvious bewilderment and Louise pinched her nose in irritation as she muttered, "Why is it that no matter where I travel, everyone around me is completely lacking in even the most basic of etiquette? Whatever, just go see to your daughters before they change their minds."

"Um... Okay then... Thank you?" The ghost, completely lacking in surety as she jumped straight into the room above.

---------------------------------

Eyes rolled independent of one another to look at the restrained male and the caged Other.

Befitting one of the Enemy's favored tribe, the male had an energy akin to the Enemy's, but lacking in any innate caustic properties to protect him from the scaled Hands. Unusual for his tribe, but the Mind would take advantage of the weakness that seemed prevalent in this region. While the male was stronger than he should be based on his size, the Enemy's Chosen was stronger by far. Many score of brethren Bodies had been slain without effort on the Chosen's part, but these ones were easy enough for this Body to handle on it's own with a bit of guile and the blessings of God.

Draining the last dregs of the male's life-force from his vessel, the corpse was thrown onto the pile of those that came before, awaiting to nourish the Body.

The Other snapped like the beast it resembled, but the Mind was not fooled. Like the various tribes allied with the Body's own, the Other held an energy and intelligence beyond any mere beast. It was unfortunate that the Mind was not suited to grasping the strange thoughts of those outside the tribes or devising a means of communication with others beyond the Body's morphotype. Knowing these limitations were put in place by God to prevent corruption by the Enemy did nothing to solve the problem that without a connection to God, it was unable to know whether the Body's next action would have detrimental effects to what could have been another allied tribe.

The Other crumbled and turned to smoke as the dark energy was pulled from it's husk, it's mind escaping with the blackened wind. Unfortunate, but the Mind could do nothing to undo what was done and now the Body would simply need to live on to see what outcome came from such a familiar creature. After all, the same happened among the tribes loyal to God, so it wasn't as if the Mind didn't expect that as a possible outcome. If the Mind and Body could renew their connection to God, then whatever being guided the Other could be brought to heel or otherwise allied with. Or it could drown in a sea of God's power.

More energy would be needed, though the Mind could feel that it was nearing enough to summon one of the Magic tribe. From there it would be a simple matter to aid that one in summoning a member of the Elder Tribe and then taking the time to reconnect with God.

Eyes swiveled to take in the next pair of sacrifices.

Left behind in some third years' room, Louise didn't particularly feel like following immediately after. With the family reconciling, hopefully, it would be awkward to sit in there with them. She didn't want to be reminded of what she would never have any more than necessary.

Uh, are Lizards from LoZ that... strong/powerful/summoning? I mean... I kinda expected the Grimm to end up killing it. (Or some Huntsmen)

Not, ya know, unleash(?) connect to/ Ganon(dorf) and spawn their own army. That's usually more of a boss thing and we didn't summon a boss, we summoned a tough mook. There's no Blood Moon here after all... unless... the Grimm are close enough to the 'Evil/Darkness' in terms of magic, but again uh summoning other members is kind of a surprise thing. Ain't no witch or wizard-type, just an electric camo guy...

On the first part, every monster type in Zelda is strong, even the stupid looking ones. They have to be in order to be a threat to the guy with reflexes that are literally faster than lightning, regularly deflects laser beams, and can not only stop a charging lynel in it's tracks with one arm, but even throw it back without giving an inch of ground from the impact.

I also never specified what type of Grimm it captured. :p

As for the second, the minions of Ganon are shown throughout the series to resurrect their Lord through sacrificial magics or even create a replacement... though it's only brute forcing a summoning of an actual wizard-type creature rather than trying on it's own. The electricity is also it's own magic and these are creatures that make sophisticated articulated plate armor in many of their incarnations. Hinox and Bokoblins are some of the only LoZ enemies that I'm not extrapolating their intelligence being higher. No sugar coating it, they're just plain retarded.

Like yeah the minions are tough, but... their big threat is how Ganon unleashes waves upon the defenders, regular soldiers also fight Link too in several games. (And fair about as well as the monsters but hey, they can be threats). I'd say that most Huntsmen are probably physically (it's hard to judge due to the series involved) but the elites are (depending on magic/gear/ectera as that's where most of Link's power comes from) in the same playing field as Link, and the trainees are probably on par-with early game Link. So that's fair, weak Grimm would lose 1v1 to most Zelda monsters they're usually less in number than the Grimm but stronger individually. Make sense. (My favorite LoZ/RWBY crossover has Link Physically+Skill wise among the 'best/elite' Huntsmen, but his REAL strength is all the various gear he has and his ability to go from swinging a sword firing lazor beams to throwing seeds that do crazy stuff to firing fire from a wand...)

If this was a magic-type mob, I can see this making sense. But I thought that lightning was a physical/magical part of the creature not actual lightning magic... It's a cool idea and all but I struggle to see it pulling this off, it fires lightning off from it's horns, and afaik magic users in LoZ always use their hands right? It IS MAGICAL, not CAN DO MAGIC was my thoughts based on how the others have breath weapons.

Well... there's no guarantee it'll be successful. I guess I'm jumping to conclusions that whatever it tries will be possible/doable, let alone inside a reasonable time frame.

And Ganon v Salem would be cool, BOTH BEINGS OF DARKNESS POWERED BY GODS(DESSES). ONE IS THE DEMON KING OF EVIL, THE OTHER HATES OZPIN, and I guess.. is kinda 'meh' on everything else apparently? Ganon would've taken over and stuff already and ya know start sacrificing people for power and stuff. Salem just kinda looms menacingly as Grimm spawn.

Need to chill out a bit.
And comiserate over shitty families

It's hard to say that it's just that though. Salem probably has a lot of minion management to do all the time (who knows how many of those grimm she can see out of that she has around), and Ozpin has plenty of allies and his own forces (which includes the vast majority of humanity) to try and combat her with. We haven't gotten to see her do that much in the series, but that's because it mostly focuses on the heroes, or at least her minions that they fight.

Most Links I would say are as you said, but BoTW Link is far above the average incarnation of the Hero.

Edit: Because, LightMage, you're not dealing with the average Legendary Hero anymore. That's right, he has risen beyond the limits of a regular Legendary Hero and become something more than a legend. MAXIMUM OVER HERO!

I have a lot of stuff planned out for how that world would work and since you guys summoned something from it into Remnant, you get to see a bit of it early. Hylians regularly get stomped down by the lowest of monsters in 1v1 and even with a numerical advantage. It's just part of the end of the world scenario that is BoTW, Ganon's minions are at an all time height in power after he was incorrectly resurrected ala Oracle and his strength slowly grew out of control, transforming into the Calamity. Even without being BoTW, Lizalfos are usually just under Darknuts in terms of threat level due to speed, strength, combat prowess, and sometimes teamwork.

Anyone can do magic. Even lacking internal magicka/power/insert-energy-type, one can still do rituals. The Lizalfos is draining the Aura, blood, and souls from dozens of people to perform a simple summoning that even Canon-Louise or Trobror could pull off if they knew the basic idea and goal. Magic in LoZ is done in many ways; from staves, hands, swords, enchanted items, breath attacks, rituals, etc. why would a horn be less effective than hands for focusing it?

Well... there's no guarantee it'll be successful. I guess I'm jumping to conclusions that whatever it tries will be possible/doable, let alone inside a reasonable time frame.

It's totally doable and can be done before the ship is ready to fly.

Ganon would've taken over and stuff already and ya know start sacrificing people for power and stuff. Salem just kinda looms menacingly as Grimm spawn.

Looming over the tiny humanoid, Ganon bellowed mightily, "I am the Demon King of Evil, tremble in fear as I devour your churches and burn your people!"

"I really don't like this one immortal guy!" The she-being replied, equal in ferocity if not volume.

Pausing mid-stomp, the porcine Lord of Hatred slowly lowered his hoofed foot "What."

"Oh, right." The Other said, slamming a fist into her open palm. "I also don't much care for the other humans. They all sort of look like him and it's mildly off-putting."

Wait a minute how would summoning Ganon even work? Isn't it like impossible for him to exist without a link and Zelda to fight cause of the curse?

Clearly, the proper way to fix the results of a disastrous summoning is to try and summon something to deal with it.

Cattleya still hasn't received her pet, after all!

Probably not a great idea to wander into Grimm infested territory by ourselves. But venting our emotions at a publicly acceptable target until it dies seems like a great way to cope unwind! And by taking our pet and quasi-friend/bodyguard we'll ensure that we do so in a mostly safe and healthy environment

[X] Plan MasterG

Louise complains about a lack of etiquette, so we throw her at Weiss.

If we're summoning something to deal with the lizalfo, I really think it should be Ganon. His past iterations have made deals with intelligent minions, that weren't magically connected to him. He has access to the triforce of power, which we could steal somehow when we inevitably betray him. I don't really see Link working with us for long. Then again this is the guy who -judging by the lizalfo interlude- has been slaughtering intelligent species en masse. Maybe he doesn't know that, or maybe when I sneak into their camp while they sleep and systematically murder them with brutal efficiency, I'm accurately portraying the Hero of Hyrule.

I feel like Calamity Ganon only won the war of the worlds because he stole the Sheikaih robot army. Without his pawned army he's useless. I mean any teen -who can move faster than light, is stronger than a liontaur, while wielding a sword evil is allergic to- could take him down.

[X] Find someplace private and meditate; contemplate the mysteries of the universe, the nature of Man, your past failures, your present status, what the future may hold for you, and ways to make Master Cynric proud of you.

It's time for some navel-gazing. There's no way this can go wrong.

Oh, who am I kidding? I'm sure Louise will find a way.

We haven't really screwed around with Weiss yet. Fingers crossed that Weiss insults Cynric due to his absolutely philantropic treatment and fair employment of faunus and Louise goes berserk.

[X] POV Switch: Cynric
- [X] Check up on Trobor and his progress with the Dragon Stone. If he's still in the same stage, try and help him jumpstart the transformation.
-- [X] Then send him after that creature you summoned for Cattleya. You know it's still out there and based on your luck, it's probably doing something that will destroy this world. Fix that. You're already sick of having to run away from (and give up) perfectly good resources and test subjects planes.
--- [X] See if Shiho has any free time (from his constant raiding runs) that he could use to help in this endeavour. His peculiar insects might be able to sniff out that creature

I don't know if this would even work but hey, fuck it, might as well try
