@DragonParadox It wasn't just the Craft Construct feat that was preventing us from using more Dedicated Wright's, but the other crafting requirements, namely having the caster level to cast a Fabricate spell.

Would this alternative method remove that burden? And if so, can Valeria use it without Constitution drain, since she already has the Craft Construct feat.

We often substituted spells from other casters, so I don't know why not here.

Well. To be honest. That's useless.

Even if we did use that, we would still not fix the actual bottleneck, since having more crafting time of low-level crafters is not helping us at all. What we need the most is people actually capable of making constructs or aiding that process in a meaningful way.

And permanently loosing 2 CON is ridiculously expensive.

It's one HP per level and -1 to fort saves

That's covered too. Lya can make them.

The problem is that's an unacceptable cost for Rina, or any crafter in general. Ability score drains are incredibly unappealing. As is, Valeria is the only one who can safely benefit from this without needing to pay that cost.

Can we get a time frame on how much longer we need to spend to get more wrights for Lya? That was always the first priority for this action.

I complained in the Tally support thread and they were able to unstick the problem vote from last week. Seems to be working properly now.

Oh, I was meaning to bring this up. We were talking earlier about wanting to get a better read on the current state of westerosi politics, right? We should talk to Doran and Velaryon about the state of our Loyalists, so we have a better idea what's actually going on. How much pressure are the crown and Lannisters putting on them, how should we get in contact, and above all who they are. When trying to make plans I'm just looking at who sided with Aerys in canon, and that's not a reliable tool.

I was hoping for more. In any case this just means we'll need to put more time into this.
To be frank, this entire thing is already a tremendous hand out from DP.

Wrights mean that all our crafters can now craft at full efficiency, and still have more or less the entire day for themselves.

I'm really against breaking the crafting system this trivially as you guys seem to want, Lya already has the snowflake power of double-dipping her crafting.

For low level crafters, it means they can fulfill their maximum quotas and stil be productive mages and get stronger. For high level ones, it means they can adventure and still craft.

And all of this for trivial effort.

If the "bottleneck" of time taken to enchant could be broken trivially, it would have been done thousands of years ago.

You think we are the first ones to think of that?

Guys, what we need to do is research how to pay the cost through blood of gribblies and Outsiders, rather than draining our own Enchanters.

Also, a quick reminder: Having more than one wright does not let you craft any faster. Having any wrights doesn't let you craft any faster.

It's research. We honestly should fail a whole lot more than we do. The times are abbreviated in the extreme already.

Every now and then, some research should come up "well, we looked into it and found it couldn't really be done, or be practical. Too bad."

I honestly don't have a problem with the Constitution drain for those NPCs willing to accept it. It's easy enough to counter-balance with a 400 IM piece of enchanted jewelry.

Even if only used for Leila and Valeria, and they couldn't double dip, it would still let each of them enchant stuff every day of the month, even during free time or when researching other stuff, teaching, etc.

It's not a bad deal, though I agree that it's completely acceptable for someone like Rina who is actually an adventurer, or will be soon enough.

@DragonParadox Can we address the creation of Dedicated Wrights for other crafters later, maybe in an overnight vote? I don't have time to campaign for it right now.

There exists an ASWAH player with actual fear of consequences? What devilry is this?!?
I hear your fears and go even further!

And of course Viserys will solve anime the same way he's solving ingrained misogyny: by changing society until such things are no longer accepted, or evolve into something better. Think about it! Anime without the problematic elements and creative flaws?
You know that this is a valid Doylist reason for Viserys to take over Japan!

I don't actually mean to start an off-topic argument about how good anime can be and how the bad isn't representative of the whole genre please. Just making a joke people

His inner @Azel will cry little black tears of pure joy.
These tears will be marked as a loss in his spreadsheets. He will thus have to steal a few from destitute orphans before the end of the month.

And imo the entire stance is ridiculous. He might find the stories and art styles distasteful, that's perfectly normal, but you're describing a meltdown. In the end anime is fiction. Viserys is not an idiot, he is perfectly capable of distinguishing fiction from reality, and thus should understand why people have no problem watching the things they do. For example, you're allowed to watch Attack on Titan and even enjoy it without being accused of enjoying the extermination of humanity, because again, it's fiction.
Ah, but clearly those who make tentacle porn are agents of the Far Realm and must be Mindraped re-educated with magic.

Interesting thought. I had not considered the arcanums. Thinking about it... it makes sense that they would not lose con
Excellent!

@Everyone Now we can have 30 days of Valeria crafting per month while still having her do other stuff, such as teach in the Scholarium or help Naria with research.
