[X] Go window-shopping! Barrasson is the place of high society, and accordingly, high fashion. Even if there's not much point in getting too fancy with it and the prices are likely way out of your range, you can still appreciate the view.

Appreciating the view is important.

Poor Anastasia, now she gets to be a Broken Ace left out in the cold without a cute kouhai chasing after her. :V

Also, *Sees Pink Eyes didn't win*:

Aw well, least we kept the pink/red hair as a legacy trait.

...
[X] Just stay here

Honestly kind of worried about us getting lost doing anything else. :V

[x] Go sightseeing! Last time you didn't really get to just explore, and Barrasson is filled with all sorts of old buildings, government offices, and other interesting landmarks.

Stray thoughts...

I hope the lime eyes are a decent comprise to the Amber vs Green issue.

Yes, Alexandra is deep in a certain Egyptian river.

General attitude towards same-sex relationships are somewhat more progressive in this setting, but it's still at kind of a "don't ask don't tell" level. Some are more accepting than that, and some less so, of course.

Overall tone I'm aiming for is relatively moderate. Not going to shy away from the war aspect and what that entails, but I don't see this getting too terribly grimdark. Just wanna have fun with the robot action and Yuri shenanigans. That's not to say there won't be challenge, of course, but I'm a forgiving sort of QM.

Also, some series have a Sassy Gay Friend. Sophia is our Sassy Straight Friend.

Mr. Shell, your second-favorite turtle plushie, (Your favorite, Mrs. Shell, is much too big to fit into the bag, and so rests in the spot of honor atop your pillow to await your return.)
That's adorable.
Sophia Payliuk, a classmate and friend of yours, stands up from her bench and grins slightly as she approaches. She's significantly shorter than you, with mousy brown hair loose around her shoulders and heavy eyebrows that typically give her something of a grumpy look. (Though it may just be because she's typically very grumpy by default.)
Grumpy best friend? Check.
"You know that's not it." You feel strangely disappointed at that response, but brush it off easily enough. "Anyway, what I did want to say is that-" She's cut off by a shrill whistle and the roar of a locomotive as it pulls up; you're pretty sure you see her swear in response but can't hear anything.
Damn you troperific inconvenience! *shakes fist*

[X] Go sightseeing!

Hmm, I don't recall Sophia from last time, even in passing. It'll be interesting to see if she has a role to play or is just a minor one-off.

I do, however, quite like how the parents have been fleshed out. I hope this extra level of detail won't negatively impact the pacing, but all in all this is off to a promising start.

Disappointed Anastasia or Nasira didn't win, though.

Oh, no! This looks like character creation! But what do the options meeeeeaaaan, Lazarus?!

[X] Go window-shopping!

We are already dressed up nicely, now we need to see what we're missing!

"But war it still is." Your father simply says, and they both fall silent.
"War. War never changes."
You're honestly not sure what he means, just staring blankly.
Oh no, we're Shirou! :V

And who knows? There might still be a chance for Anastasia, it was never said she was going to end up together with the original MC. What's that? You can hear the desperation from there?

Time to break the rails you set for us, Lazarus

[Q] Beatrice is from the Capital, right?

She can always get her own, and then the seniors can hold a contest over whose kouhais are cuter.

Well I mean, yes. Like last time, the choice of who Alexandra's hero is definitely influences things, but it doesn't mean you're locked in to some sort of 'Beatrice Route.' At the very least, I would recommend trying to get to know all four better, independent of any romantic aims.
