[X] Duesal
Only what they do under our rule matters. We should judge them individually, they might have other crimes worthy of sacrifice.
@DragonParadox, what exactly os the "default option"?
Reminder to everyone that tje Shaitan would enslave any prisoners we give them.
They were taken in battle, if they have made fiendish deals we can sacrifice them, and Duesal do want sacrifices.
@Goldfish, according to DP this armor is CL 16 and requires Spell Resistance and Limited Wish to make.Armor of the Elephant
Description: Beneath the soot and oil the elephant-headed fiend used to blacken his armor, it is a gleaming, one might even say ostentatious work in gold and purple marked with symbols of past victories as much as runes of power, though one cannot deny the efficacy of the latter.
Ability: Reinforced Segmented Magic-Eating (Heal 1 point per spell level if you save against a spell) Fullplate (+1)
I have no problem with that. Why not add giving it to him as part of your vote? We can go ahead and assign the Freedom of Movement ring to Richard, too. He'll just need to take off his Swarmbane Ring until we can make it slotless. In other news:

It's Fullplate, and enchanted at that. I think it'd be a good suit of armor for Argo until we can give him an upgrade, and then after that we can either toss it at another Minotaur or one of the Stone Giants.
I think Waymar has the Broken Link right now, he should keep it until Richard has a hand free.I have no problem with that. Why not add giving it to him as part of your vote? Done. It's not like we'll be facing many swarms out here in the first place.I have no problem with that. Why not add giving it to him as part of your vote? Does he? I don't remember assigning it to anyone.I think Waymar has the Broken Link right now, he should keep it until Richard has a hand free.
I wanted to give this some thought before replying. We have to diplomance him first, but by the way the thread's cronic divination paranoia is blowing (justified or not) it seems we wont have any loyalist lordly interaction until the invasion is mere days away.
I dont care much for that and would even go so far as to try working something out with DP if its true. We're outgrowing Planetos and soon most ASOAIF politics/intrigues will be less and less relevant. Can't we just enjoy what little remains of it before we outgrow it completely guys? Lanna going with a checklist and communing every House's loyalty from the Wall to Dorne makes watsonian sense, but from a doylist perspective it just kills westerosi intrigue, and two thirds of the more unique half of this crossover.
I wanted to give this some thought before replying.
The thing is, I ultimately fully agree with you. Westeros has fallen from the great goal to another item on the docket. Our recent successes in Essos and the shift to Planar politics, while Westeros is still struggling with simple magic, has seen to that.
So, with Westeros being at best a side-quest by now, why don't we just do it? What is exactly the horror scenario that could happen here? After this month, the Wildfyre under Kings Landing will have been dealt with. We are already trading potshots with the Lannisters and the Maesters. So what is the worst that could happen if one of our turned lords gets divined?
Assassination? Big deal. We still have a net gain if not every single one gets killed and ultimately, we don't have to care about them at all.
Increased Lannister activity against us? So?
So... why not?
The point was made long ago that the only thing in Westeros that can even try to force our hand is the loyalists being stupid and rebelling early. The only thing stopping us is that we want the Legions trained up and the Three Daughters under our thumb. But mainly the necessity of needing the Legions trained up.
Once that's done, and it should only be a few months at most, there is nothing Robert can do to stop us.
Nothing is a strict necessity. The point was made long ago that the only thing in Westeros that can even try to force our hand is the loyalists being stupid and rebelling early.
And even that we could wait out at little cost.
So no, waiting for the Legion to be ready and the daughters settled and peaceful is a way to optimise, to get the most out of the conquest.
By no means a necessity.
I didn't suggest to land without a Legion.Nothing is a strict necessity.
That doesn't mean I don't want a full Legion to land with.
It's one thing to slap aside armies with just Viserys and the Companions, but the Legion is what we're going to use to bring the lands to order.
But that's the point. If we go by the measure "can Robert stop us", then we are ready. The only thing stopping us is that we want the Legions trained up and the Three Daughters under our thumb. But mainly the necessity of needing the Legions trained up.
Once that's done, and it should only be a few months at most, there is nothing Robert can do to stop us.
I dunno, Rodrick the Reader is a cool guy and it would probably be simple to convince him to swear fealty and put Asha in charge. Let's talk to him first before we do anything drastic, unless I'm mistaken and someone else rules the Iron Islands. If we take a gamble, we can call a kingsmoot in the Iron Isles, murder everything Drowny there and then plant Asha on the throne to add the Ironborn to our forces. They sure as hell will like the sound of raiding Lannisport.
Rodrick is only a regent. There has been no Kingsmoot called and no new Lord Paramount crowned after Balon bit the dust and Theon was nowhere to be found. The idea was to foster Asha in Winterfell until a good noble materialized to rule the place with her as a puppet, thus eradicating the Greyjoy line entirely.I dunno, Rodrick the Reader is a cool guy and it would probably be simple to convince him to swear fealty and put Asha in charge.
