Droid Among The Stars: The Extra-Ordinary Journey of an Ordinary Droid

Welcome to my new quest, Droid Among the Stars. You will be controlling the character of a droid, who has "faulty" programming, and will set out on an adventure to discover themselves, and the galaxy far far away. Will you follow your original programming and purpose, or will you break free from your chains and create your own path. In these uncertain times, with unrest, conflict, and division beginning to spread around the Galaxy, what will you choose to do?

While voting on the Character design in this quest, each option will have a + or - followed by a number beside them. this signifies how many points each option will give or take away. Less valuable and more common options will give you more points, which will be used to determine where your character starts, and possible bonuses and options. More Valuable and rarer options will result in a more valuable, and effective starting character, but will limit your options and opportunities for starting locations and events. Each choice will also result in different possibilities and opportunities.

Your processors power up for the first time as you go through your first time booting process, as everything is checked, and confirmed. Your model designation and template are confirmed and checked. As a Class:

[ ] 1 Droid. worked in the fields of mathematics, physics, physical sciences, and medicine. Although they had in-depth knowledge of their field, they were rarely programmed to apply their knowledge to everyday situations. Class one droids were considered little more than computers since all they usually did was perform calculations. They tended to be more expensive, on average, than droids in any other category. Examples are: Medical droids, Biological science droids, Physical science droids, and Mathematics Droids. ( - 4)

[ ] 2 Droid. were programmed for engineering and other technical sciences. They differed from class one droids because they applied the science to real-life situations. Class two droids were rarely equipped with Basic vocabulators, instead communicating through Binary. Examples are: Astromech droids, Exploration droids, Environmental droids, Engineering droids, and Maintenance droids.(-3)

[ ] 3 Droid. droids were programmed to interact with humans. They were said to be the most advanced droids ever invented. Examples are: Protocol droids, Servant droids, Tutor droids and Child care droids. (-2)

[ ] 4 Droid.were programmed to fight. Almost all class four droids carried weapons. Armed combat droids were among the first droids ever created. Examples are: Security droids, Gladiator droids, Battle droids, and Assassin droids (-1)

[ ] 5 Droid. were simple labor droids that did menial labor that no one wanted to do. Class five droids were the most often encountered droids. Examples are: General labor droids, Labor-specialist droids, and Hazardous-service droids (+1)

I like having a droid that was skilled in the sciences because SCIENCE!

Fuck it lets go with the highest difficulty setting.

Thats not the highest difficulty setting..... its techincially the lowest difficulty setting..... the Class 4 and Class 5, the most mast produced type of droids, will probs be the hardest, due to processing power and programming.

the less points you have, the less you can choose where you start, and potential events with it. but the Level 1 droids have much better computational power, most likely wealthier and more affluent owners, and better access to some resources.

The benefit of a Class 4, droid would be access to weapons, combat oriented design and construction, and more anonymity. As well, your potential starting point could be as a CIS droid in the clone wars, giving you the opportunity to easily slip away unoticed

Keep in mind, you guys could be end up being a Vulture Droid, or a Jedi Temple Droid that helps build lightsabers. if you have a question as to what class a specific droid you might want to be is, feel free to ask at any time

wait a negative number doesn't mean bad? What happened to the education system?

I hope not for a boring Astromech

Negative number is technically bad, in the sense that the less points you have, the less options you will have later in the setup stage

there will be multiple votes to choose the specific droid, and each category has its own higher, and lower quality options.

ooooh. Well, in that case, class 4 droid - vulture droid that can upgrade into a basilisk war droid

Starting out a little conservative.
1 point spent, not too expensive for a combat loadout.
