Ignoring Astolfo's high pitched screaming, ugh Rider truly wasn't hero material in your book. you didn't have much time to issue commands when that dragon snake was nearly upon you, its jaws casting a shadow on your entire group.
There was a good solution though, hit it hard and fast. With as much strength and speed you could muster you leaped at the Basmu and hit it with all your body would allow, sending both you and the green serpent reeling back, it's strength was almost on par with your own.
You spotted the Basmu swiftly coil up as it hit the ground, it didn't make any further moves as the snake seemed wary now that it knew it couldn't run over you. This was perfect as it gave you time to announce your plan to everyone, it was quite good in your opinion.
"Oh, wow you're really strong aren't you master, I don't think I've ever seen someone punch something that big before! Do you mmphh…" You quickly put your hand over Astolfo's mouth muffling her annoying voice, you grin at her showing your teeth. "I would appreciate it if you kept silent Rider, understood?"
The Rider in question nodded her head rapidly in agreement, good. You take your hand off her mouth, now with that out of the way you could finally explain what was going to happen.
It was simple really, just send the famous dragon slayer against the giant serpentine dragon. The plan was simple with no added bells or whistles, but you didn't think anything fancy was needed.
"Siegfried we'll go ahead and confront the Red Faction, I'll leave big and ugly to you." Siegfried's white hair swished in the air as he turned his head towards you, his expression was solemn but still had that determination you spotted earlier firmly etched upon his face; Seems like nothing could shake the indomitable Siegfried you misjudged him he definitely qualified as a hero.
"I understand." You heard his clear response, a nod accompanied his words looks like he agreed with your decision without protest, you smile in satisfaction hopefully all your Servants will continue to be this cooperative.
Taking a glance at the Basmu reveals that it still hasn't moved from its position, seemingly content to guard against your advance while it's smaller brethren circle it, hmph that overgrown snake thinks it can really stop you, how foolish; well you shouldn't expect more out of a dumb beast.
"Okay everyone Just charge straight through and I'll cover you, Siegfried once we're through you can have your fun but first…" you pause your words to look at the disgrace to all phantasmal species, Shuten, she was still in Siegfried's arms "You're going to need to drop the oni, does anyone else want to carry her?"
Astolfo looks like she wants to say something, but it probably has nothing to do with volunteering, so you give her a glare, Rider hastily looks down to the floor. The first to respond was Gil "I will Master, she's my friend after all." Your Archer wore a genuine smile on his face beaming at Shuten.
Assassin noticed this as a shy blush adorned her face while she gave a small smile back to Gil, her sad mood vanquished as if it had never been there. You barely notice the frown that marred your face, why did Gil even like that vixen in the first place? She was a pathetic drunk and a good for nothing layabout.
Nope, you were having none of this, approaching Siegfried you rip Assassin from Saber's arms. "On second thought I'll carry Shuten, you don't have to worry Gil!" Assassin's lively atmosphere disappears as quickly as it came as she falls limp into your grasp.
Gilgamesh for his part simply blinked in confusion before pointing past the Basmu giving his insight "Alright Master the Red Faction lies just beyond the beast, we must hurry any delay could be disastrous."
Stopping yourself from nodding along to his words was slightly difficult but you gave pause at the thought of trying to fight off the Basmu with this dead weight occupying your hands, it didn't seem like the greatest move. Leaning into Shuten you hiss into her ear "Assassin you better walk or there's going to be no booze for a week."
The small girl trembles in your hands for a moment before slowly moving out of your grip "Alright Shuten's better let's go everyone! Oops Siegfried you still stay here." Everyone nodded but they gave you odd glances, perhaps they were impressed with your oratory skills?
You could keep talking about what you thought was the best way to get past the Basmu, but you honestly didn't care much, and it seemed Gil was getting a bit impatient. Without any further explanation you charge the Basmu swatting aside the smaller serpents, trusting your Servants to follow.
Divine Beast or no, you weren't scared of the draconic snake, while it wasn't weak by any means that didn't mean it was stronger than you, or even a threat. Taking it down within a time limit would be annoying though, so you simply swatted away its lunge when you came within striking distance.
The strength of your blow shattered it's front fang sending the giant snake reeling back, spraying you with an acid like liquid that ate through your skin causing a light stinging pain. Honestly whatever the giant serpent did was pretty pointless since you healed faster than the damage you were taking, although if this was daytime this might've been a different story.
Siegfried took that as his cue to engage the Basmu and its posse with a brilliant beam from his sword, further distracting the Divine Beast that was already on the backfoot. Of course, the spawn of Tiamat wasn't the only obstacle considering the large green snakes that suicidally lunged themselves at you and your Servants but the threat they posed was negligible at best, even Shuten and Rider seemed to have no troubles disposing of them as they trailed behind you.
"Eek, stay away!" Astolfo screamed while sweeping through a dozen snakes with her spear, Well perhaps Rider wasn't having that great a time, but you still felt she was handling herself well.
Meanwhile Shuten-Douji seemed to be enjoying herself "Fufufu I wonder what kind of alcohol would be made once I melt these snakes' bones, especially that Basmu~" She seemed to somehow take the whole vertebrae of each snake leaving them like motionless worms flopping about futilely it was kind of gross looking actually, at least she wasn't sulking anymore.
Gilgamesh merely seemed to be ignored by the snakes for some reason, perhaps one of his treasures was the cause? Well whatever it didn't really matter but you did notice your group of six was now reduced to four to confront the Red Faction, despite this fact your confidence didn't waver.
While you weren't going at your full speed it was still miles ahead of what even a reinforced mage was capable of, this made a journey that could've taken an average man hours reduced to a few sparse minutes. It also didn't hurt that you simply rammed through every single obstacle in your path instead of trying to find your way around them, who had time for that anyway?
You certainly didn't, simple really was the best plan you smile to yourself at that thought.
"We're nearly there Master we should slow down a bit." You give Gilgamesh a glance before nodding in response. "Alright."
Red Faction Roll 71v Arc Roll 80= minor Arc victory
Even with your pace slowed it didn't take your group to encounter a huge set of doors with an air of majesty about them, you didn't care about that.
Not sparing a moment further to inspect them you easily swing the doors wide open, a task even most Servants would find taxing. There you see him that fishy priest Kotomine still wearing that pleasant façade despite the situation.
"You dare defile my gardens! I…!" A woman with long ears took your attention away from Kotomine with her shouting, anger clear in her tone but her rant was cut short by a look from the priest.
They were distracted, you give a smirk in anticipation but just as you were about to charge them Gilgamesh took hold of your hand his face giving away nothing. It was odd why was he holding your hand all of the sudden? You were answered when his voice mysteriously rang through your head 'Master there's multiple traps set here, try to stall I'll disable them.' Well, you certainly didn't know Servants could do that, maybe that was a Gil only thing?
You tried to sense for something, anything that would give away what ambush was waiting as the traitorous man looked back towards your group but couldn't feel anything out of the ordinary. As you were wrapped up in your thoughts the priest started a conversation with the same mild-mannered tone he used when the two of you first met, as if nothing had changed since then. "Miss Arcueid to what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you once again?"
You snarl taking a look at the four Servants surrounding him "I think you know fake priest! Don't think I don't know what you did, you're dead meat!"
Kotomine's smile faltered for a moment until it snapped back into place, he put his hands up in a placating gesture, "Now, now I know I haven't given you the best welcome so I understand you would be upset with me, but I just talked with Caster and she only attacked because she didn't know you were heading the Black Faction now, I think we've merely had a bit of a misunderstanding."
"Heh, and what am I misunderstanding?" While you wanted nothing more than to just lunge towards Kotomine and rip him to shreds Gil was giving a subtle mental signal to give him some time, you'd oblige him for now, but this traitorous priest was testing your patience.
"I didn't mean for Caster to attack you; my goal was merely to scout out what was happening, I apologize for Caster's thoughtlessness." Looking around the priest you see he has multiple Servants surrounding him including a grinning green haired man, an albino feline woman and another pink haired midget that reminded you of Astolfo not to mention the gaudily dressed woman from earlier. Your inspection didn't go unnoticed as the priest hastily replied "I might not have explained everything well enough and I apologize, however I do believe we don't need to continue this needless conflict. In fact, I have a way to help you against Roa without the wish." The man gave you a wan smile, his words showing an amount of earnestness that couldn't possibly be true.
This man, if you hadn't already killed Roa you might've been swayed by his words but now they held about as much meaning as a gust of wind. "Oh and am I supposed to trust your word, especially now that it seems you've stolen your entire factions Servants? You probably backstabbed everyone on your side, some neutral party you are!"
He gave you his constant placid smile, to you it looked more condescending than placating. "Ah while regrettable it had to be done, the other masters of the Red Faction had black hearts, their wishes would have brought nothing but misfortune to the world."
This man was full of shit and you weren't shy to hide your thoughts on the matter "Oh really? What is the great and selfless priest, Kotomine going to do with his stolen wish?" your tone was mocking yet despite that Kotomine's expression didn't change in the least, did he not catch the sarcasm or was he just ignoring that?
"I have a much more noble goal Arcueid, I shall bring salvation to humanity, I know I haven't given you a good impression but just imagine it, a world where everyone is happy where no one has to suffer, a true utopia. That is the type of world I will create, help me with making my wish and that paradise will be all thanks to you." You were speechless for a moment until a voice cut through with all the force of a raging god.
"Silence Mongrel! All that spills forth from your lips are venomous lies, even the salvation you speak of is nothing, but senseless destruction born of ignorance." The priest looked down at Gil, his pleasant smile starting to pull down at the corners. "Has your mage not told you before? Your wish is a fruitless desire that will doom humanity, or do you simply not want to accept that all the effort you have spent chasing your dream was a waste? For a so-called Saint you are quite selfish Kotomine, you would be amusing if your mindless flailing didn't threaten MY SUBJECTS!!!"
The priest's pleasant smile shifted into a thunderous scowl it seems Gil really knew how to press Kotomine's buttons, you really need to learn how to do that. The priest's reaction still wasn't anywhere near as attention grabbing as the sudden presence Gilgamesh was emitting now, he seemed almost like a completely different person to the polite and somewhat mischievous boy you had gotten to know earlier, he was now projecting an aura of command and superiority that could make even you feel Archer's displeasure.
Some might have cowered back, but you could only feel mildly impressed at how he did that, it definitely wouldn't hurt if you learned that trick too. The presence bearing down on everyone allowed Gil to turn from a harmless looking child into a imperious Ruler looking down from the heavens at the drop of a hat, it was a similar effect to you exuding bloodlust but simultaneously different.
While you were caught up musing Gil's aura it seemed everyone else had stayed silent until Kotomine finally took it upon himself to break it. "Salvation, is not worthless!!!"
Kotomine's expression was positively enraged before he seemed to catch himself and plastered that fake smile on his face, the priest's gaze landed firmly on you "Do you truly desire to damn all of humanity just for my mistake?"
It seems the priest wore your patience too thin since you were unconsciously releasing bloodlust which was especially obvious with the razor-sharp grin tugging on your face, Oops you were supposed to buy more time.
Kotomine's smile was nowhere to be seen as he gave his reply "It seems negotiation is impossible then? How regrettable."
With those words Gilgamesh merely gave Kotomine a sneer, but it was hard to tell what emotion was behind the small boy's expression. The atmosphere of the room was tense and then It snapped as the throne room's occupants burst into violence, almost too quickly for even you to tell what was going on, almost.
Oh well time to fight your own opponent, you hope they'll give you a fun fight!

[About the Votes important] You guys have Shuten-Douji, Gilgamesh, Astolfo and Arcueid to work with, meaning that this won't be an even fight in regard to number, so you can and must have at least one individual fight an extra opponent. For example, you could have Arcueid fight three opponents to allow a tag team on another Red Faction member.
A/N: Anyways this chapter was a bit difficult to write out but I'm not sure why, I guess it just felt kind of flat to write, while also being really rough around the edges, just tell me if I can do anything to improve this chapter ETC what you'd like to see more/less of, if I missed anything. I was considering more dialogue from the servants, but it would've made this chapter far too long imo.
Command seals are as follows Kotomine = 12 Red Command Seals.
While Arcueid Has 8 Black Command Seals and 2 Red.
