[X] Chase the Aliens down, if you destroy the proof then Uncle Zel might not find out!
-[X] Use a command seal for your Servants to become Sober again, with your combined might you will annihilate all traces of the Aliens!

Unless the magic side and science side work together, the tech needed to develop space travel technology would still require decades.

Even then it wouldn't work. Remember, magecraft is basically hacking Gaia's reality marble and as such, wouldn't work off-world. Even Magicians may be subject to this limitation, we've never gotten a confirmation of any of them working outside of earth and it's variations. Plus, there's how spreading the knowledge of magecraft weakens it, making such tech something that would be extremely limited. To solve this would require creating a new foundation that could work beyond the limits of Gaia and is not subject to conservation of mystery, something that is so far beyond modern mages that it'd be like a deaf, blind, and dumb toddler inventing the cure to cancer from scratch; it's technically possible, but far too unlikely. Their best bet in that regard is to loot the moon cell if it exists outside of Extra.

That's not how Grand Reality Marbles work. The entire observable universe is Gaia's GRM and all the planets and such seen from Gaia are just shadows of the GRMs of those planets/moons/planetoids/whatever.

Isn't that due to humanities' common sense isolating them from the other GRMs? Because the alien lifeforms are so far removed from humanities' 'normal' perception of the world, they cannot interact with humans without having enough Velber-tier bullshit to break in.

Gaia's GRM might be the observable universe, but there's little reason to assume that it's the dominant influence in areas beyond earth. The only bit we know for certain about GRMs and their interactions is that the astronauts who went to the moon did not encounter any life there; given that Crimson Moon exists, it seems fair to assume that either they couldn't interact with that layer of the GRM or that the civilization was wiped out at some prior point in time. Either way, there really isn't an answer on what effect stronger GRM's might have, with the moon being a satellite/removed piece of the Earth making the metaphysical interactions a bit hard to determine.

-[X] Arjuna and Shuten are enough to beat those Aliens.
[X] Nothing, this never happened, Aliens don't exist, this was all caused by Assassin and you're going to bed. In the morning all this extra-terrestrial nonsense will be left behind, hopefully…

There a type of energy that work in a world devoid of mana and the age of mysteries ended that would allow magecraft to work. It a energy that symbolize a new world of supernatural and it an energy that can be converted into mana that allow magecraft to work and can be generated by technology. It feature heavily in the Fate/Extra as the energy generated by the Moon Cell but it also show to exist in the world of Grand Order being utilize by Chaldea Security Organization. Chaldea is an organization that has been proven that is possible to combine both science and magecraft together to create an entire new system that surpassed the limitation of both system in the current era by multiple generation. The fact they have multiple fragment of both the Kaleidoscope and Heaven's Feel show how advance their are.

Are you talking about Grain from Notes.

Because that thing is what 99% of most Aristotles are made out of.

Probably not. Grain only really starts appearing when Gaia's death is imminent and the protections against outside forces start breaking down. As the world isn't giving out from exploitation in FGO, its unlikely that Chaldea could harness it. Also, there's that little problem of it being absolutely lethal to the ecosystem, technology, and unmodified people when in large enough concentrations.

I am curious what they're talking about though. I might have overlooked something, but I always got the impression that Chaldea's power sources were just really efficient/powerful mana generators, 'crystalized potential', and grails.

Not Grain. It called Spiritrons. It has greater forcus in Fate/Extra as its discover allow magecraft to work in a world where the age of Mystery had come to a complete end. It not discorver by magecraft but rather science. While most of time in the world of Extra using Magecraft in the real world was nearly impossible except for a select few, it was merely because the limitation of the technology and study that was done at time. Moon Cell and Chaldea Security Organization show that the Spiritrons based magecraft can work in the real world and it won't lost out to the magecraft of old.

Huh. Didn't expect something like that. Though given how Spiritrons are soul particles, I'm a touch confused as to the overall use of them without using people's souls as fuel. A large part of why the Spiritrons are so effective with Chaldea is that they only really use them to shift the master's soul in spacetime and otherwise effect souls. I might have overlooked something, but I don't think that there are any examples of Spiritrons fueling non-soul-related actions.

As for the moon cell, wasn't that just because they were in a digital space and the soul happens to be an amazing information medium? It seemed to serve more as a way to boost hacking than as the replacement for mana and/or mystery that you suggest. Outside of digital space, there didn't really seem to be any examples of magecraft via Spiritrons.

Spiriton can generate artificially with technology and it call Pseudo-Spiritrons. In Nasu-verse, the common entity that utilize Spiriton in a world where the age of Mystery had not come to an end was the Atlas Institute. Atlas apporanch to magecrast is a Man and Machine approach. Their advancement in their study is also similar to progress of science and technology. Barring their Homunculi and select few members, many of their members cannot perform magecraft that along the lines of nature interference as their lack magic circuits. Instead they made tools and weapons that would allow them to do the same. The greatest example of this is the Black Barrel, one of the most powerful anti-immortal weapons that can used by anyone even non-magus.

In the world of Extra and most world except Chaldea and Atlas, the most common usage of Spiriton magecraft is generally related to the physical body. Atlas create their Homunculi with Pseudo-Spiritrons while others in the world of Extra used Spiriton magecraft to create enhance humans or modification to the human body. As for Spiriton magecraft that works, Moon Cell itself is an example. During the events of Fate/Extra CCC, humanity had been wipe out and it been using Moon Cell Spirition tech, humanity was brought back to live. Others example of Spiriton magecraft are hard to list but generally their user will come from Chaldea and Atlas.

Interesting. Thanks for explaining; I like the nasuverse, but keeping up with the lore can be difficult at times.

A Waxing Crescent 1.5
You might as well take everyone, you couldn't really leave the drunks alone without anyone to watch them after all. Luckily you had the ultimate medicine "By my command seal, Servants I order you to snap to your senses and be sober!" Suddenly you felt bliss as silence finally filled the raucous room, why couldn't you have done this in the first place?

"Huh what's going on?" A voice questioned, it was obnoxiously lively, taking a glance at the source revealed it to be Rider, the girl who passed out on the floor before you could even talk to her. You ignore her in favor of a seemingly peeved Shuten-Douji, her face was pale and pinched, it seems she didn't like being completely sober, well too bad you didn't like being near drunks. It seemed she wasn't going to do anything though, so you turned your attention back to Astolfo.

"What's going on is that we were attacked by aliens while almost all of you just goofed off, you would've all died if it wasn't for Arjuna!" Rider just seems more confused as if you told him the moon was made of cheese. Well you didn't mean to start a rant, but you were quite upset, maybe not just at them deciding to have a party, but it definitely contributed.

Taking a glance at your other Servants to see their reactions, you see that Siegfried seems apologetic, his face crumpled under the weight of your words, not giving any protest against his perceived failings. The only one who seemed to be in a good mood was Arjuna, sporting a smug smirk of his face well he did have a reason to be proud.

"Shu, teeen… Where are youuu?" That whine was unmistakably Gilgamesh, you look at him fumbling about even though Assassin was barely a few meters away from him, it was obvious to you that he was still drunk…

You pondered what went wrong while massaging your temples, trying to prevent the burgeoning migraine, probably not immune to command seals, perhaps, no it was definitely because you couldn't command a Red Servant with a Black command Seal, like the one you just used. You even remember Gil explaining something like that earlier this night, right might as well "Gilgamesh by my Command Seal, snap to your senses and become Sober!"

The red full moon upon your left hand turns into a waxing moon, only two red seals remained and for such a dumb reason too, you were going to give the small Archer a piece of your mind once the aliens were dealt with. You shift your head glaring at Gilgamesh with your arms folded, he gave you a sheepish grin in return seems he had the decency to look embarrassed, still you were not amused.

You open your mouth to reply when you were interrupted by rider "Aliens huh, they're from like space right? Well I went to the moon once and I didn't see any aliens. Oooh, but I did mmph." Siegfried covered Astolfo's mouth to stop her incessant chatter.

That can't be right, your progenitor came from the moon after all, so there should be life there, oh you were being silly, Rider just meant aliens and TYPES certainly weren't, otherwise you would be considered one and you definitely weren't, you were born on this planet after all!

"Of course there aren't any aliens on the moon Rider. No wait, that doesn't matter, we need to chase after those aliens before they get away, they had the audacity to attack us, so they should be prepared to face the consequences!" That and you want to destroy all evidence that they ever existed too, a world without Uncle Zel being smug was a better one.

"Now who's with me!" everyone raised their hand, except for Gilgamesh, he looked at everyone before addressing you "While I hate to ruin your parade master, what attacked us wasn't aliens but a Heroic Spirit's Noble Phantasm."

"A Heroic Spirit who's major legend ties into a flying saucer, are you serious?" Heroic Spirits made absolutely no sense, Servants made no sense and trying to wrap your head around them was a good way to drive yourself crazy. Even your other servants were looking at the young king in disbelief, it was honestly too ridiculous to believe. Only Arjuna was taking his counterpart seriously if that focused expression on his face was anything to go by.

Gilgamesh met all your stares with a shrug "Don't look at me like that, I don't know why their Noble Phantasm looks like that either, but that's not what's important. What everyone should be focusing on is that was a scouting attack meant to perceive what state our Master was in by the Red Faction, they're now returning with information that Master now has nearly the entire Black Faction under her command." Gilgamesh gives you all a stoic look, he was trying his hardest to look serious, he could never quite pull it off with his childish features but at the same time none of you could dismiss his words for some reason.

Still you felt relieved as you heard this, it was only the Red Faction the nightmare of what Uncle Zel would do dissipated into the horizon. You weren't really all that invested in this anymore, might as well see what your Servants would do, since this war was mostly focused around them. This would also allow you to see what they were like and their capabilities, this wasn't you being lazy, no sir.

"That's not good I assume, we will lose the element of surprise if they find out our capabilities." Siegfried was actually insightful, seems he wasn't just a dumb oaf. Assassin didn't seem to care though looking at her cup of alcohol mournfully too distracted to even notice the events around her, perhaps she's the type who's more aware when drunk?

Arjuna's smirk widened as if he expected this turn of events while Astolfo was struggling to talk through Siegfried's hand in vain, you didn't really care that much, that was a lie now that you think about it, since Rider's voice was really grating, Good job Siegfried.

"You are correct Siegfried, there are really only two options, we let the scout return to the Red Faction or we intercept them before they reach their target." Gilgamesh was back to his normal insightful self now that he wasn't intoxicated, you were never letting him touch alcohol again since he was a lot more helpful in his normal state.

"How is catching them an option Gilgamesh? That Noble Phantasm is faster than us and it also has a head start since we've been wasting all this time talking." Arjuna gave the question everyone was asking in their heads, it seemed impossible to catch that spaceship after all. Gilgamesh didn't seem to mind though as his tense expression turned into a haughty smirk "You should never doubt my capabilities as well, behold the Viimana!"

A green winged vehicle of some sort materialized out of Gil's Gate, didn't Arjuna just mention that Viimana thing? You looked at the Indian hero to see his reaction to this turn of events, you weren't disappointed "You… how do you possess the Viimana?"

The younger Archer merely widened his grin in response "All treasures in this world belong to me, there is nothing my Gate of Babylon lacks!" for some reason it seems your two Archers were having a subtle competition perhaps they wanted to prove who was the better Archer?

"This Viimana can travel at the speed of thought, easily capable of allowing us to catch that interloper before they meet up with their Faction." Sparkles seemed to be emanating from Gil's figure as he boasted of his treasure's capabilities, his entire demeanor seemed to scream 'praise me' hmmm perhaps he didn't want his impression from earlier to stick.

You walk over to him and pat his head "There, there Gil, we know you did a good job." Letting him know all was forgiven for now, Gil just seemed mortified however, perhaps you read him wrong? Oh well, head pats were the best way to praise people. Len loves them after all and when she gave Gil some he seemed to like them as well and best of all, you liked giving them.

"So, Gil, we just get on this Viimana thing and we can get that fake alien, right?" Gil nods from under your grasp "It seems fun so why not, let's go everyone!"

You feel a tapping on your arm as Gil tries to escape your grasp, you loosen your hold a little, Gilgamesh suddenly rises up as he gasps for breath "Master you're too strong…" You merely tilt your head. "Never mind, what I meant to say is that chasing the scout might not be the wisest option, since if we do get rid of the scout the Red Faction will be on alert, what might be better is to give the Red Faction a surprise attack when they least expect it."

Well that doesn't sound too bad either, all your servants are looking at you in interest to see what you decide, well except for Shuten-Douji, she's still staring at her alcohol trying to drink but unable to. She's collapsed on herself in a heap of suffering and self-pity, you didn't think your order would affect her this adversely, perhaps you should help her as well?

What does Arcueid do about the Enemy Faction?

[] Go after the scout, they need to pay for attacking you!

[] Surprise attack the Red Faction, they won't know what hit them!

What Will Arcueid do about Shuten-Douji's sober suffering?

[] Nothing, maybe she'll learn to not be a bad influence on her peers.

[] Looking at her in this state is quite pitiful, you'll give her mercy and have Gil help her or something.

A/N: So finally, I broke my schedule of at least one chapter per day, do people like the slower schedule or the rapid updates or just nor care? Anyways kinda feel like I could keep the pace up, I haven't hit any writer's block, or anything just don't want to set other stuff I'm doing to the side, neglected.

Also, as I wrote this I kind of noticed that there are quite a few characters that will appear in each update, while it's still at a manageable level if I add any more Servants I fear that will give the characters we already have less screen time than they deserve. Still for now it doesn't seem to be a problem, but I fear it may become one.

So... can't think of how to word it, but voicing irritation at Shuten for getting all of them drunk, or trying to, while incidentally praising Arjuna for not falling into it and staying alert (because this is too fun to watch. :V)

And it sounds like she has conscious control of her skill too, so drunkiness shouldn't be happening by accident. Except she also has Charisma A, or something close to, with her Oni personal skill... Oh, Gil! we need some bullshit!

Considering Servants could talk to their Master with but a thought and vice-versa. Killing the scout would result in nothing for us. Aside from thinning the Red Faction's Servant and alerting the Fake Priest V.2 that we are not on his side. Meaning: no surprise element.

And we also need to have one more active combatant on the field, so that we could not get overpowered by the enemy.

Shuuten, whilst looking like a frail lady/girl, is also the leader of the Oni-clan. And has a crazy high parameter. Thus, we needed her to fight in order to win.

Here's the plan: get on the Viimana, un-sobered Shuuten, go to the Red Faction's base, attack using Gil's treasury, board the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Fight any Servants there, Cripple the Servants with our might(if able, kill one or two Servants there), get out, retreat, and return to any form of our base(if we even have any base/HQ for that matter).

How's it? Is it a good plan or a bad plan?

How's it? Is it a good plan or a bad plan?

Your approach will be formed by the votes but it doesn't seem to have any inherent flaws that I can see. getting Shuten up for a big fight is definitely the right choice if you want to attack the red Faction
board the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Fight any Servants there, Cripple the Servants with our might(if able, kill one or two Servants there), get out, retreat,
This depends on your choices during the Red Faction encounter and your rolls, do note you'll only keep the night bonus for a few more chapters so use it well. This might mean that you wipe out the entire enemy faction without a scratch or well quite the opposite.
I also considered making a choice to not leave but people already knew the whole scenario with the saucer and voted to chase it, so I left it out.

Final note the Red Faction is pretty much the end game fight, so be prepared O.O

Oho? Is that so. So we have a full-powered Arcueid at night with all her 6 Servants fighting against the Red Faction huh? Heh, this would be a breeze.

The only downside is, we have only but a few more chapters left, so we can't be slow and we needed to be cautious so we don't get ambushed. Luckily Arcueid's got Gil as her Servant, which means he would know each Servant of the Red Faction and have the means to fight them. Such as fighting Achilles with Enkidu or just order Arjuna to fight him.

Final note the Red Faction is pretty much the end game fight, so be prepared O.O

Oh we'll be much prepared, I'm sure.

Will we get a chance to deal with Avicebron? Will we get an interlude on what Jeane, Morded , Kairi, Darnic and Vlad doing?

The Red Faction is the biggest fight you'll get in awhile not the final battle you'll have. The reason why you haven't had any interludes recently is because the time between the last few chapters in fact the whole waxing crescent arc has only been a few hours. I can't really write much about them when not much time has passed, What I will say is that interludes will still be a thing.

I see. Arc and Gil really had been bulldozing through everything up until this point. Wonder how Jeane, Kairi and Modred gonna react? The war had not lasted even a week and Kairi and Modred had not gotten into any proper servants fight at all.
