Well, worth a shot.

[X] Go back to Sayaka's.

Might as well regain a bit of sanity.

[x] Go back to Sayaka's.
-[x] Sleep

Well, whoops, that happened. Let's see what the next sleep cycle brings, I suppose.

Dreams/Dawn of March 19th
Accepting that there is no more to be done here, you finally decide to return to Sayaka's, and rest.

The journey does not take too long…a quick journey by rooftop, all things considered.

You're not sure if they'll be awake, so you quietly enchant the lock, and open the door. Inside, you find silence--save for the soft breathing of someone asleep on the couch. You creep over, and find Madoka asleep, smiling softly as she does.

It's a familiar sight, and a comforting one, as you recall long nights, guarding her home against Kyubey, glancing in the window furtively to make sure she was alone.

You slip away. She will be alright, for now.

It doesn't take you long to make your way to your bed, briefly checking in on Sayaka first--she's asleep too, as expected.

Lying down, satisfied with today's work, you go to sleep to the ticking of your Grandfather's watch…

---

The young girl lies in your lap, staring up at you.

"I'm sorry, Prima…we tried. We tried so hard, but she…"

She trails off as you focus on healing the long gash, spreading from her shoulder to her hip. Her severed braid lies nearby, taunting you.

"Do not worry. She will pay…however she is here, whatever she really is, she will pay for this."

The girl coughs violently, eyes going wide in pain as the motion pulls at her wound, "N-no. It's okay. S-she….you shouldn't have to--"

You pat her on the head absently, as you continue mending the wound, "No, no…it's okay, little one. It will not be the first time."

She just stares at you for a moment, then sighs, eyes closing as she begins to tear up, "It's not right. This isn't--it isn't fair!"

You can't disagree with that, but move on, "Well, at least we know something now--we have some vague idea of where the cracks lead."

She simply cries softly, and you comfort her until she is healed. You offer to reattach her braid, or maybe repair her glasses, but she refuses, "N-no! I…I'm…"

She trails off, and you wipe away her tears as you move her eyes back up to regard you, "You're what?"

She blushes, looking down even as her lips twitch, "…I'm special now. I've been through something special. I…maybe I'll even get my own--"

She cuts off, looking stricken, and you chuckle, "Maybe so. If you do, come and tell it to me."

She nods, smiling brilliantly as she pulls herself to her feat, pats her regalia down, and salutes, "Yes, Prima-sama! I will! Thank you!"

You pat her head, "At ease, little one. I'll see you later."

With those words, you depart, roofhopping your way back towards the Center.

As for the young one, you leave her to make her own way home. She's strong enough for it, you think.

'I wonder what her name will be?'

---

You awaken to a new day, unable to remember your dreams, but weighed down by a strange melancholy.

Huh. Anyone has an idea of what that was about?

Anyway, sanity is back at satisfactory levels, and grief isn't a pressing concern (though still a bit higher than we'd like, I recon).

So, now what? We could go visit Yuuko, but ideally, I'd like going in with some idea of what we want from the encounter. We could hit the books for some progress on medical skills. Or we could keep building those social links (yet I'm worried that it'll be of limited use in the long run if we don't find a way to preserve their memories through the loops). Other ideas?

These dream sequences I keep throwing at you guys actually do matter, by the way--they're not just surreal weirdness for its own sake. I know they're vague for now, but...we have a LOT of quest left. I have to pace things.

I mean, I reckoned it was somewhere between a confluence of Homura's various selves- perhaps all conglomerating together as she walks the timelines, similar to all the Madokas becoming a unified Bezier Spline of Madoka-ness. So, either the herselves she 'overwrites' as she walks the timelines, or something similar, depending on which theory of timemeistering/universe-sliding that this adheres to. Certainly, that snippet awhile back:

Reaching into her chest, she gently pulls out her heart, offering it to you with a smile, "For the battle! Just make sure you share it with everyone afterwards!" She smiles cutely at you before hurrying off, and you take a moment to place the heart in your chest. It slips in quite easily, filling the gaping hole inside you...for a while, at least.

gave me the impression that, just as Madoka is picking up potential, so too is Homura taking up... something, from the herselves in the timelines she's weaving together. One for all and all for one?

That being said, I could be entirely wrong; the whole thing is, in fact, a bit vague and surreal. But very intriguing.

Edit: Actually, I suppose it could also be that the Homura who 'loops' actually just passes her abilities and memories forward to the next Homura, and is taken with them, as opposed to the other way around, which means the Homura who wakes up each time, instead of the original overwriting the present timeline's her, is actually the Homura of that timeline, with all her past-timeline selves taken up into her. The difference would be subtle, I think, but possibly still relevant. **shrug**

My first guess was Clara Dolls, but the mention of glasses and braids didn't fit any of them.

Prima means "first" in Italian and Latin, but that's the best I could come up with.
Think back to one of the first dream sequences wayyy back when, with all those other Homu's (with red glasses and braids) running around inside Homura's head (and there was a 'crack in the sky' back then too). We talked to a few inside some command center. Though comparing them to Clara Dolls is probably not too far off.

*Sees Discord Link and Perks up*

... Ah. That's not happening.

Kriem (I spelled it wrong, I know, I can't find the right spelling though) doesn't really like me (which is valid, I don't really apologize for being a dick), but both of us kind of had our worst foot forward for... the first few meetings we had really on there. I was a dick, they came off as a hypocrite.

Got a week-ban from another mod over an argument and just decided not to go back. I had maybe two people who actually liked me there out of half-a-dozen or so who I regularly interacted with, so less stressful on everyone that I just not go back.

That's been a... I don't know if it's been a large theory or not actually. Anyway, I had that idea a long time ago myself in general. Potential is basically Karmic Weight, how much your life affects everything else.

Madoka's rises because she's Homura's reason for traveling back in time repeatedly, thus kind of centering everything on her ultimate fate. Homura, however, is the one actually making the time travel happen, so her's should be rising just as, if not more, sharply than Madoka's. Problem being that she's already used her Potential in her Wish and there really isn't any way to tap into the rest of it, save perhaps when she Witches out.

We don't know if Witches tap into further accumulated Potential when they are born or if they can only tap into the Potential of the Wish that birthed them, so... *Shrug*

And even when Homura "Witched" she didn't actually turn into a Witch, she turned into... something else. But that Something Else most likely did have access to her un-tapped Potential considering she also re-wrote the Universe, something Madoka had only done previously through the power of her Wish in that final time-loop.

Or at least access to some of Homura's untapped Potential. Her Karmic Weight probably dropped sharply after she lost her time powers due to the world no longer centering around her and, through her, Madoka any longer, but might have stayed as high as it did due to her personal importance to Madoka, who was a Buddhavista at that point in time, so...

But that Something Else most likely did have access to her un-tapped Potential considering she also re-wrote the Universe, something Madoka had only done previously through the power of her Wish in that final time-loop.

I always interpreted it as her wish basically 'updating' itself to be able to fulfill the "protect" part of it. If you wish to protect someone, and said someone became a goddess, then you might need to get a boost too. That being said, it's not incompatible with what you say, it's possible the update ever occurred because Homura could have potentially reached that level, at this point.

Yeah, I'm not going to be joining that server either. The list of servers I'm in is already getting really long. The PMAS server is enough PMMM on Discord for me.

Extremely understandable. It's not like I'm expecting everyone to join in or anything--just an option for those who like that kind of thing.

The thread will always be primary, as far as I'm concerned.

Lets see . We should read some to deal with the heart thing.

Probably should think of what we actually want to say to Yuuko when we bring her the sake .

Study magical theory maybe ?

Check up on Nanoha at evening maybe with something to distract her.

check up on Bebe maybe? Or maybe pay a visit to Oriko ?

Or Mami and Kyoko, training some with them might be useful.

So this line,

"Well, at least we know something now--we have some vague idea of where the cracks lead."

I was reminded of it earlier today, when I was browsing through a book at a friend's apartment earlier, and read:

Clearly, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is important to our understanding of this state of affairs. Either that, or the cracks in the universe from Doctor Who. }=o) But no, legitimately, it is a somewhat interesting connection to make.

Additionally, re, the dreams and things, here's another lot of blue truths that I kinda wanna check, if we can get answers:

The Akemi Homura who we, the players, are voting on the actions of, who is the protagonist of this Quest, is also the "you", "Prima", whose perspective the dream in 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th' is written from.

The "you", "Prima", whose perspective the dream in 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th' is written from, is the Akemi Homura from the timeline which the Akemi Homura who we, the players, are voting on the actions of, who is the protagonist of this Quest, would describe as the timeline during which she made her contract with Kyubey and subsequently began what we refer to as her time loops.

The Akemi Homura who we, the players, are voting on the actions of, who is the protagonist of this Quest, is not the "she" referred to in the sentence "Do not worry. She will pay…however she is here, whatever she really is, she will pay for this", from the dream in 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th'.

The "she" referred to in the sentence "Do not worry. She will pay…however she is here, whatever she really is, she will pay for this", from the dream in 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th', is not any entity that we, the players, would refer to as any instance of Akemi Homura (including but not limited to those we would refer to as: 'Akuma Homura', 'Homucifer', 'Homulilly', 'Akemi Homura', 'Homura Akemi', 'Amy Percival Venticus Akemi', or any of the Clara Dolls or other Familiars of any of the preceding.)

The use of the term "The Homumind", by the GM, Higure, in several posts, including but not limited to Red Truths such as

Homura, you heroine, does remember that encounter or encounters. The Homumind, however, is not aware that individual(s) Homura encountered had seen PMMM.
, refers to an entity or organization comprised of more than a single instance of Akemi Homura, or the consciousness and/or memories thereof.

The use of the term "The Homumind", by the GM, Higure, in several posts, including but not limited to Red Truths such as
"Homura, you heroine, does remember that encounter or encounters. The Homumind, however, is not aware that individual(s) Homura encountered had seen PMMM.", refers to the organization of multiple individuals that we, the readers, could describe as different instances of "Akemi Homura", that we observe in the dream segments of 'Dreams/Dawn of March 17th', 'Dream | 4 Times is Too Many', and 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th'.

The multiple individuals that we, the readers, observe in the dream segments of 'Dreams/Dawn of March 17th', 'Dream | 4 Times is Too Many', and 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th', could be accurately described as different instances of "Akemi Homura".

The multiple individuals that we, the readers, could describe as different instances of "Akemi Homura", that we observe in the dream segments of 'Dreams/Dawn of March 17th', 'Dream | 4 Times is Too Many', and 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th', all (or the majority) possess separate souls from one another. (Any subset of these souls may be metaphysically related, metaphysically connected, nearly identical, or in Soul Gem form.)

The multiple individuals that we, the readers, could describe as different instances of "Akemi Homura", that we observe in the dream segments of 'Dreams/Dawn of March 17th', 'Dream | 4 Times is Too Many', and 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th', all (or the majority) originate from different universes or timelines.

Slightly long, but it doesn't seem to be something we've poked much at before, and more clarity is good. I don't really know if I actually expect answers to any of these, since depending on what the answers entail, they could run into spoiler territory, but hey, gotta try.

Also, for the sake of the shadowrunning and conspiracy theories:

The "she" referred to in the sentence "Do not worry. She will pay…however she is here, whatever she really is, she will pay for this", from the dream in 'Dreams/Dawn of March 19th', is not the entity referred to as 'Feathers' in the Quest Puella Magi Adfligo Systema.

Actually, also, several things I overlooked last time, or never got around to clarifying:

For the following blue truths, let us define the following:

"Large number of black cats" is defined as "a number of black cats or entities that appear to be black cats that the people Homura overheard in the ice cream shop believe is a statistically anomalous large number for Mitakihara". When used as a noun, it refers to this group of cats as a unit.

The large number of black cats are hostile towards Madoka.

The large number of black cats have some reason to be hostile towards Madoka that stems from some action(s) taken by an instance or multiple instances of Akemi Homura.

The large number of black cats are hostile towards Madoka because of some action(s) taken by an instance or multiple instances of Akemi Homura.

The large number of black cats have some reason to be hostile towards Madoka that stems from some action(s) taken by an instance or multiple instances of Kaname Madoka.

The large number of black cats are hostile towards Madoka because of some action(s) taken by an instance or multiple instances of Kaname Madoka.

The black cat with blue-gold eyes, that Homura saved in front of Madoka and Sayaka and Kyubey this loop, has some reason to be hostile towards Madoka that stems from some action(s) taken by an instance or multiple instances of Akemi Homura.

The black cat with blue-gold eyes, that Homura saved in front of Madoka and Sayaka and Kyubey this loop, is hostile towards Madoka because of some action(s) taken by an instance or multiple instances of Akemi Homura.

I was intending for this post to be short. Oh well.

So this line,

The use of the term "The Homumind", by the GM, Higure, in several posts, including but not limited to Red Truths such as

, refers to an entity or organization comprised of more than a single instance of Akemi Homura, or the consciousness and/or memories thereof.

I will not answer the blues regarding the term Homumind at this moment.

...but we don't know enough about Feathers for me to be certain they don't overlap. Probably not.

Extremely interesting. I think at some point I want to comb over the known truths, and the specifically unaddressed ones, to see if any interesting conclusions can be drawn...

Also, I hope it's not too much trouble I keep coming up with these exhaustive lists?

No! Definitely not! This is how the Blue is supposed to be used!

Right lets see, guess we can do this for now. any more suggestions would be good.

[X] Morning Plans.
-[X] Go catch breakfast with madoka and sayaka.
-[X] after stalking- escorting them to school get to reading those medicine books, your heart is not going to fix itself.
-[X] Once you get tired of reading see if you cant check up on Mami and Kyoko.

breakfast with those two would give us a buffer in our sanity department and stuff, we really do need to fix our heart and I cant actually think of anything else for the moment so checking up on the two and seeing if we cant help a little and maybe get some training done in with the vets.
