The only reason we didn't win the last time was because we rolled like crap and the farmers rolled really well. Also of note there is that we suffered non-catastrophic econ damage from that, and the walls Oli used as an explanation are actually fluff for the bad rolls not being "exactly real" more or less.

I'm just concerned that we might have a demographic crisis. We're still short on men, which is the basis of our hunting and fighting.

At this size that pushes towards singular men with lots of wives, and then corrects itself when all of their sons grow up. If we were bigger it'd be more of a problem.

(Besides the potential weird changes to women's rights. It can actually go in either direction with one man and multiple women set ups, depends on several factors)

That's why I am voting for double hunting instead of double raiding. Right now in our current tech level, hunting is one of our best sources of econ.

The fun? side of that is that women discover they're just slightly worse at it but can bring back enough meat for the tribe to survive, plus less men only means less genetic diversity, as long as our women don't get killed enmasse it shouldn't affect our birth rates.

E: pressuming our tribe doesn't have a problem with polygamy.

Less men due to combat deaths means the successful ones tend to have more offspring.

That's why I am voting for double hunting instead of double raiding. Right now in our current tech level, hunting is one of our best sources of econ.
Considering how last turn's Cultivation means we'll still gain Econ this turn, it's probably a good idea to approval-vote x1 train hunters to ensure a commitment to quality(and to push our Martial GPs to ensure their knowledge gets passed on) regardless of whether we're raiding or not. As even a lighter raid would benefit from the martial bonus and we would git gud at war even if we didn't raid.

The farmers are almost certainly rich in econ to raid.
