Might just be because I've read some more quests (at least I remember some anyways) but there's a number of quests that go for Faunus protag.
I'd prefer human protagonist. Because Triforce of Courage.
Plus, as I stated in my previous post, I think being human and facing the injustice of Remnant is a better idea to show Courage more.
Though, tbh, some of my preference is because being human should make some things more easier.

But faunus rest more interesting for me, I like a little difficultes in quests and faunus is one of the coolest things in RWBY.

My god why the hell are all of you choosing the waifu instead of the more interesting questline!!! It dosen't even guarantee we meet any of the main cast.... /sigh oh well at least it isn't vale... I'm sick and tired of vale, every quest and fanfic happens there and it's fucking boring and repetetive... atlas should be interesting... kinda want to see mistral and vacuo though... hey GM is it possible to become a travelling warrior I kinda want to explore remnant.

Child's ok since it allows us to build our character, I just don't this quest to stay in one place like every other quests out there, I kinda want us to explore the world of remnant, there are so things to discover and the potential for world building is incredible, I don't want to waste it on staying in the same place.

I enjoy childhood storylines. When they don't stretch out for twenty updates. They allow for interesting buildup when handled well.
That being said, I refrained from voting for timeline or country because I honestly don't have an opinion!

also honestly guys? Link just works better as a Faunus, think of how many ties to animals he has. you have the Loftwing, the Wolf, the Lion, the Fairy, the Horse, the Zora. There really isn't a game in the LoZ series where he isn't tied to an animal barring the 4 swords (where he has himself.) And the super early LoZ games and even some of those have him tied to birds still.

Personally, I think Wolf faunus fits better for Link in most incarnations. The Loftwing was his partner, but he was a wolf, and wolves are a lot more heroic in folklore and legends than shoebills. Clearly the solution is to make friends with a shoebill faunus.

That's the thing though, the ones picking humans are not minmaxers, they're picking human because it would make an interesting story, since as a human who wishes for equality for all he'd be hated by faunus like those from the wf and humans who don't want equality.

Well the triforce of courage is what reincarnates link, anyone who has the triforce of courage will always be and has always has been an incarnation of link.
Kinda like how wisdom reincarnates zelda and the triforce of power reincarnates gannon, if you don't believe me look up the lore behind loz.
