    After Shuri rescued her, Sandra set out to attain enough power that she could save humanity and steer it into the future she wanted, purely for its own good of course. Where Light Sandra somehow managed to become Undersecretary of Humanitarian Affairs, Dark Sandra somehow managed to end up as Director of Ginnungagap. Presumably it involved a lot of politics.

    While Sandra was genuinely committed to ensuring humanity's wellbeing (such as by wiping out the AGs), she always dreamed of ruling the world as part of the package. Blowing up the Earth just gave her the opportunity.

    Beyond that, you'd probably have to ask Avalanche. Although I think his jimmies were pretty rustled by my version of Sandra. xD
