  • Is part of the equation in your avatar cut off? Because d/d*Muscledog equals Muscledog, which multiplied by Muscledog and two Doges should equal Muscledog squared+Muscledog*Doge*2, and your solution seems to have an extra Doge in it and no squared Muscledog.

    It's been a while since I did calculus, but I think the derivative of x squared is indeed 2x [x to the power 1].
    Rereading your comment, I think you're assuming it's an algebraic formula; it's not. 'd/dx' indicates derivation, a calculus equation, though I don't remember which variant of calculus nomenclature it belongs to.
