To be honest, it didn't even occur to me that it would be fae vs fae fighting. Aren't the fae all aligned against dragon riders and the like? And I could hardly imagine anybody grabbing anything in a rider vs fae fight.

Because it never occurred to me that you would actually think anybody was talking about real hair extensions where you glue each strand on, bit by bit. To begin with, those are non-removable.

Yes, but not necessarily all the hair. Mid-length natural hair, with about half an inch bound by elastic attached to a ponytail to hide the fact that it isn't real hair for instance.
