  • Just wanted to say that a just binge read most of your published audiobooks "Cinnamon bun", "Sporemadadon" and "Dead Tire" then was surprised when I connected that you where also the writer of some of my favorite unfortunately dead quests. (Worm/piece especially). Really like how you can can so many very different main characters.
Hello! I read the Agartha Loop a while back and absolutely loved it. Are there any plans for returning from hiatus for that fic?

He's still writing it on SB and RoyalRoad. He's just left SV.

    Ah. Never mind, then.
I remember that you had mentioned a Book 2 for Princess, which would cross that setting with Ward. Do you still plan to do that?

    Hi!
Probably never. I did write an original story called Heart of Dorkness that has a similar premise as Princess. It's available on a few sites, and soon will be on Amazon and Audible!
I just reread your Worm/One Piece quest, and it's still a great quest, I hope you pick it up again sometime in the future.
what if any stories are you working on ATM i just finished WannaBee's current state and am eager for more
Psst, I noticed you put an epilogue on Princess over on The Less-Good Site about two months ago, but not yet on this one. Just forget?
Any chance for one or two more parts of Overkill, if just to resolve the current situation and see them heading off to what is at least nominally a friendly destination?

I know this comment is old, but I'm replying any way. Raven has gone into writing original fiction for profit. Updates on his fanfics will likely be few and far in between.
    Hello Ravens,

How do we buy commission tokens?

    Much love,
    Richard.

    Hello!

I kinda dropped commissions a little bit ago, at about the same time as I went into writing full-time.

    Sorry Richard!

At the same time, I think Hel needs to get some thicker skin or she's in for a miserable life. She's part of a demographic that's frequently the butt of jokes and that will literally never stop being the case.

It's been a while since you hit that 100 patron goal. (Impressive numbers, by the way.) If this isn't too personal a question, have you talked about your fanfic to any new people in real life since hitting that goal? If you have, how's that been going for you?

To be honest, other than close family I haven't spoken to anyone IRL in... a while? The lockdown has killed what little social life I have.
Rule 3 Violation: Be Civil and abuse of funny ratings
"I love bringing up issues like that because it sparks discussion"

And when you receive pointed (yet civil) criticism as part of that discussion, you immediately run to get the thread locked. I hope you'll understand when I say that your claim that you like to spark discussion rings hollow.

Now you've given that criticism a whole lot more credibility.

This is exactly why the thread was locked. Why is this posted on his profile? Take this to PMs if you want to question RD. This isn't the place for this discussion.

I'm not questioning RD. I'm simply pointing out the inconsistency. Publicly, since the inconsistency was public. People who use racist rhetoric to explain a story shouldn't complain when that rhetoric is challenged. It's not the challengers who are at fault or in the wrong. It's the person who introduced those talking points in the first place

Especially when it wasn't necessary, as Chloe explained in some detail.

"Why is this posted on his profile?"
"Because this isn't about me or you. This is about him" *points to the third guy*

Also, food for thought: If a person *crime* someone in a unique way, and someone else copycats the *crime* in another state... is it the original *criminal* fully at fault for both *crimes*? And if so can the second criminal get away scott free?
Just wondering but why was Overkill threadlocked? I haven't read it in a while and I really don't want to slog through the thread.

I asked for it to be locked. I figured we had one or two more comments before things devolved into an insult match and wanted to nix things early.

@RavensDagger are you planning on continuing Overkill? It's a really good story and I'd hate for it to die because people couldn't have a civil discussion...
    RavensDagger
    RavensDagger
@Wolf_Prince Of course. If not here, then on AO3 or on SB. Next update should be next Wednesday, barring any disasters in the interim.
    Rule 2 and 5 violation.
Hope you get through this "trap" thing as well as on SB. The SV moderation has shown itself to be incredibly bigoted when that term is concerned.
When it has come up before it usually ended with the author being labled as either hateful or ignorant.

No one is arguing that trap isn't used by transphobes to insult trans people. The bigotry comes from when people can't accept that a non-malicious use also exists.
Not to mention that to assume that a word can have only one true meaning regardles of context is fallacious. It's quite similiar to an etymological fallacy in that regard.

@shinkicker444 and @ChaoticAwesome, the both of you are arguing about the merits of a rule on this board that has long since been established. Rule 2 does explicitly apply to not only real people but fictional people as well. Have 50 points. (continued in post below)
