    Doctor Roosevelt, Cherrydoom and Rock Tumbler were great. They just said whatever.

    I do get it but I don't consider it a negative. Like, the internet was rife with homophobic slurs (I was using them too) then too but that shit going away is good.

    I'm from Michigan, Detroit and then a suburb. Then moved to Florida and finally to Fort Worth to be with my girlfriend.

    Basically yes, I'm kinda similar I suppose in that most people in my area don't share my views.

    I have not. I intended to read the manga but apparently the mangaka is sick or lazy or something and frequently goes on hiatus. I don't want to start a series that goes nowhere. I heard the new anime got an English dub though? I might check that out.

    I hear nothing but the highest praise for the series, though which is why I wanted to look into it.

    Yeah: I recently finished the newer anime (actually jumped back and forth between the dub and sub a little bit, at least until the dub ran out around episode 45 or so: I think they're both pretty good, though I'm usually a sub guy) and I thought it might be up your alley: some great villains. Real slow start, but it really picks up five or six episodes in and I didn't have any doubts after that.

    Thank you. I have little periods of "Shit, I don't know ANYTHING!" so I do my best to learn whatever topic strikes my fancy at the time. Sometimes it's depressing, like with the NA/FN reservations, and other times it's interesting, like the God debate. I'm just glad others enjoy them too.
