    >Chaos has access to a multiverse, and tons of the book extracts of a multiverse aren't even Chaos perspective, but Out-Of-Universe.

Chaos is fucking held back by guardsmen with lasguns at times, chaos cannot be trusted. And the out-of-universe perspective suffers from a DIFFERENT source of unreliability because the codexes all try and make their faction seem like teh best evah and will totes win

The strenght of chao's grip in those universes is never really clear. So can it with the chaos wank.

Regular Daemons can be held against guardsmen with lasguns.

There are Codexes that often downplay their factions. That can be seen in Deathwatch codex, the Tau Codex, and so on.

The Codexes are about as reliable as anything in Warhammer. Legit as anything.
Immune? To anything short of the Chaos Gods inside the warp and I guess full C'tan, they are. Not completely immune.

And yet the person I was arguing with was instisting they were flat out immune, with NO qualifiers like "to anything short of the chaos gods"

Which is STILL a pretty tall claim considering their highest feat is...what, shrugging off city busting firepower?
The LOTD casually withstanding a hive city destroying lance shot is legit. And dismissing it with everything in Warhammer being in-universe is crap.

Which apparnently you missed: they're arguing the legion of the damned is straight up immune. Not "they have tanked a hive city destroying blast so they can handle that level of firepower", just straight up "immune".

Which is, y'know, textbook no limits fallacy.

Pretty much everything else after that is an acerbic note that, if he's going to go "OH BUT THE STORY SAYS THEY"RE IMMUNE SO THEY MUST BE IMMUNE" we have to remember that the narrator could be anywhere from being hyperbolic to being flat out incorrect and misinformed due to 40k canon policy.

So tell me. If the legion of hte damned is IMMUNE to both immaterium and materium powers, why are they not killing the chaos gods on their lonesome or something equally ridiculous instead of showing up for the occasional convenient battle? They're IMMUNE right???

Actually prove either of the things you just said here with evidence, and not by ignoring the evidence provided which confirms the exact opposite. Nor by arguing author intent. When he confirms that it is literal.

I know you can't but it will amuse me to no end to see you justify your bullshit.

Oh, by the way fuck off from my profile. Yes, Elric Kinslayer. That one. DaWinz is welcome. You're not.

I won that argument too. After all of you failed address everything I provided. The irony is that you all were debating in bad faith, and not addressing anything. Instead only claiming that you were. That's called dishonest debating, numb nuts.

For the record, this brock lesnar fellow got himself permabanned after some VERY shitty debating...and harrassing the original author of a work...and probably some other stuff I wasn't privy too.
