  • I really respect the work you put into informing people about Age of Sigmar.

I'm glad. I'm very fond of Age of Sigmar and there's a lot of misinformation spread around it. My goal has always been to educate people on it. Nobody is obligated to like it, but I would prefer if people's dislike came from a rational place of what it is rather than a mistaken idea of they think it is.

I'm tickled that you were as invigorated by Kragnos' creation and concept as I was.
I don't what is happening, but apparently Terra Novan wanted me to relay this to you. I don't know what kind of beef you have.

"I am sorry for what I did. But if you are willing to work with me despite that, perhaps we could make contact through some other means."

I...don't have beef with them? I'm simply very busy with my own commitments. I haven't talked to them in months.

"Well, I've been banned. I am not proud of that. This obviously poses a problem, however.

Is there any alternative way we can keep contacting? I did a major rewrite on worldbuilding & want to see if they are appropriate."

My Discord is Codex#7138. I don't check it often, but that's one way to contact me.
Hey Codex, I was thinking of reading some Age of Sigmar books, especially the Gotrek series, but the first one is an audio book. Can I start reading the actual books without it? Are there any other good series in the setting?

I'm still relatively new, so I can't give any recommendations. If you read the core book for like, 2nd or 3rd Edition, then you probably know the gist of the story and setting and can go for most novels. I have not read any novels myself, but when I do I'll be sure to give recs.

Thanks anyway. I think I will try the Gotrex book
Sorry about not doing more, and wasting your valuable helps.

There's no need for that. Do whatever you want whenever you want. You don't have an obligation to do anything.
I was having a lot of fun with the Witcher. Happy to find out that Ciri likes women, and completely clueless, I searched it up and came across Mistle. How I despise dark fantasy's obsession with rape. Feels like shit.

I have not read the books and don't know much about them, but the wiki says that Ciri enters a relationship with Mistle after... that

That makes it even worse. It's bad enough to have rape and not discuss its ramifications, but having the character get into a relationship with their rapist...

You know the story (or for that matter, the entire genre) has a problem when there are hentais which deal with the subject with more serious maturity.
    Codex! You are smart.

How can I create a "Staff Post" threadmark on my thread? I can't see the option when making a new threadmark. Is it something I have to activate?

You're not supposed to. That's a feature for the Mods when they tell people to cut it out or when they hand infractions or when they shut down the thread.

I'm also not an expert on this stuff. If you want more details you should probably either check the rules or ask a mod.

Ah okay, thanks for the help
Got a quick lore question for you. Is their literally anywhere in the lore that shows there are 'imperial elves' or at least ones that live in the empire as a citizen than part of ulthuan or the various 'wood elf' factions? I swear up and down their was a tavernkeeper in middenheim that was one.

There are some Elven citizens. They live in the major cities, and many of them do so because they're Envoys to an Elven clan from Ulthuan who desire mercantile connections with humans. It's a career in 2E WFRP for young Elves. Aside from envoys there is the occasional Elf who wants to make their own way, so you will occasionally find shopkeepers who are Elven, but they're rare outside the major cities.

Some Eonir (Laurelorn Wood Elves) also live in the Empire, not as numerous as the Imperial Dwarves to have their own community (or ghetto), but larger than the Asur at least.
Are there any other Warhammer quests you are following?

Here is another you might not have herd of:
Imperial Knightly Order Quest: Emerald Conspiracy
It's probably the only Warhammer thing out there that takes place in the reign of Sigismund the Conquerer, and by the guy who pioneered the Crusader Kings 2 style quest.

And to sell you further on how distinct the setting is: Kargg's birth is still a millennia away, Bretonnia is not founded, Myrmidia is walking around, Solland and Drakland exist and Kislev does not exist.

I'm not interested in reading a new quest right now, but I'll keep it in mind.
I've really appreciated your uptick in involvement in DL over the last few months. You've been bringing a ton of energy, attention to detail, and positivity to the thread. It's great.

Thanks! I took a lot of my cues from you believe it or not. I know for a fact that Boney likes it when someone engages with their work and analyses it, and focusing on all the little details brings me joy and likely brings Boney joy as well. Everyone wins!
