    Getting used to a new laptop. Tablets have been given up on entirely after one too many power supply failures.

    So... my nice shiny new awesome gaming PC... has windows 8. I bought that one rather than a better one Specifically because it came with 7, not 8. Needless to say, i am neither impressed nor amused.

    Oh, and i got an e-mail today informing me that DW8:E, which was to arrive on release day the day after tomorrow, has been delayed until the 26th of next month, for reasons. Further unimpressedness ensued.

    I made it up. It was a comment on... a bunch of things, really. But nothing in particular. *Shrugs* in wargames and such i tend to use artillery focused forces, and i tend to consider halberds one of the better options for melee combat, as it's one of the most general purpose melee weapons (though in practice i actually favour shortswords and daggers). Machineguns are just useful. ... or something like that.
