    Oh yeah, we talked about this last year. What date is it suppose to be? If it was Leap Year shenanigans, I'd assume it would be in February, but who knows how the forum handles it.

    There's a certain melancholy behind Jet. It's the type of exhaustion that leads to an obituary or a remembrance speech with the words "May you find peace," or the like.

    Jet's just not living the life she wanted. Jet didn't become who she thought she'd be. And even when she tried - it was coloured by who she was required to be.

    She lacks the joy that the rest of the convention has - everything she builds is coloured by a certain necessity to it - it lacks fun or exuberance - that 'spark' that brings life to Fandom.

    It's a kind of burnout, I guess.
