    I've dealt with baseless accusations too and it is frustrating, but it's important to not let it push you to place you'll regret later.

    His participation in the Indian Wars was certainly unconscionable (this is true about most major Union generals, really) and for that reason I've never quite felt comfortable lionizing him outside of his achievements during the Civil War.

    I am THE FINEST UTILITARIAN.

    The weird part is that I'm not even particularly attached to capitalism--I'm actually rather ideologically sympathetic to socialism even though I'm not a socialist in the current political sense of "seize the means of production". I just really hate anti-intellectualism, whether it's directed at economists of philosophers or any other field.
