    In part, yeah. There is nothing wrong with breaking new ground in an established setting, or doing an AU, or doing a crossover, or whatever else in that vein. But when people start tossing out nonsensical actions and just plain bastardized "development" that sounds like the uber dork side of Tumblr...

    Like, just replace or flat out insert an OC, bam. Don't do "Jihan curbstomps a vanilla Grail War and gets the targetted waifu bait, then eats chips n dip with Zelretch". we go from acceptable fanon/speculation into hardcore stupid and terribad lazy fanfiction.
