    Thanks for writing it! I think it's probably the first post third impact fic I've read for NGE, but I had a lot of expectations going in regardless just from the end of the show and you managed to subvert pretty much all of them without making it seem forced.

    Thank you! I read a LOT of Eva fanfic before eventually writing my own. That may or may not have helped compensate for the fact that YANAF was my first story.

    Given that uranium and plutonium are toxic and radioactive, the only way to safely, harmlessly dispose of a nuclear warhead is to disassemble it in a suitable facility and put the materials to peaceful use.

    That's an interesting way of getting around it, but to me 'chief' sounds more like a 'best bros' kind of thing, Like one guy saying to his friend, "Looking good there, chief!" That might be because I'm Australian though.
