    Hey, just wanted to say I just finished binging through "Ikusaba Quest" and just wanted to say I absolutely loved it! I think you did a great job with it and I'm using it as inspiration for creating a setting of a quest of mine own!

    For inspiration, I suppose the greatest source would be unorthodoxy of it all, the crossover wasn't something I would normally consider to be compatible with Danganronpa but you have made it work, along with making Mukuro the protagonist I would imagine would be difficult to do but again you made it work, I found it motivating, especially when it comes to thinking about trying out new and out-there ideas.

    Pretty busy, yeah. I've been mostly inactive here on SV thanks to being permenantly threadbanned from PMAS and not really following anything else that's active. The Ikusaba Quest rewrite stalled a bit over on Anonkun as well due to some site drama on their side and a crapton of school work on my side - this may continue into the Spring but I do intend to work on it over the breaks.

    I reread Ikusaba Quest for the first time in a while, and it made me curious—are you still working on it at all? I would love to see it keep updating, but if you've run out of steam for it I understand. It was quite a big quest.

    Yay! Glad to see it's still being worked on. The killing game sounds like it'll be loads of fun, and given that I know very little about SMAC it'll probably catch me by surprise more than once. Just hope we manage to survive—I just realized, did you ever make a policy for game overs/continues?

    Not an official one, no. I think I'll actually keep it a secret; Mukuro doesn't know what happens after death either. Plus, maybe a bit of unknown there will encourage risky behavior when necessary but conservative play when it's not, the way an Ultimate Soldier might actually act.

    Unfortunately it was only ever meant as a testing ground for Persona 5.5 mechanics, and some of them are too clunky for me to keep up with as is - The location system for one. Sorry.

    Honestly? The very idea fucking scares me. I have no plans how to lead the Talk to it, nor how to do this Talk. At all.
    The only thought I have is if we work out Dewitchification first, then we can say: "Hey, I know you unknowingly recruited Magical Girls to be perpetually tortured soul batteries for a race of space sociopaths, but I fixed it! No need to worry!"

    I'm not sure that'll help. I think it'll just be important for us to make Mami feel, if not forgiven, then at least like she might have a chance to be. A chance to make up for whatever horrible things happened to the girls she recruited who witched. Part of that is being there for her, part of that is regrouping the kouhai, and part is screwing coobs.

    It's no longer 'just another forum RPG' when the quest has been running for 3.5 years, 5k+ pages, and with no considerable hiatus period. For some, Firn most especially, that's 3.5 years of personal investment in time, thought and emotion.

    Even so, a game is never worth morally browbeating someone or engaging in the sort of "discourse" the thread was in at the time of that post. Aura trying -and succeeding- in telling the rest of the thread they were horrible people and immoral villains for trying to apprehend an escaping prisoner was disgusting to me.

    I haven't played Persona myself and don't know much about it; while I intend to fix that eventually, will I need prior knowledge to understand the quest?
    At any rate, the Tarot motif caught my attention, as I'm doing something possibly kind of similar with my own quest.

    Nope. While events and characters from the previous persona series (especially persona 5) will appear, the story will be largely self-contained and will take place in New York instead of Tokyo.

    Everything you'll need to know will be explained in the quest. You should be able to read it without any prior knowledge of Persona and still get full value.
