    I tried reviving it about 10 months ago but only updated it twice, which means I need to be careful to actually get back in the groove this time, or else I'm just yanking the audience's chain in extreme slow motion. :V

    For my part: Red-beams-shooting-out-of-handguns is a fair percentage of the stuff I draw and worldbuild, so there's a degree of irony, but I've also come up with stuff people have considered pretty OP like tozols.

    So it's just a little reminder to myself that limitations and genre conventions in storytelling are a voluntary self-limitation. Especially when it comes to science fiction.

    Not a economist, but I wonder if the reason is debt unpaid, is of limited worth to one owned a debt, and hypothetically one can have a unlimited amount of unpaid debt as long as no one cares that the debt hanging, be a mess if all of it was called in, but money is only worth what people are willing to take for it as it just a symbol for bartering/ favors, debt just a symbol for favors

    I think it helps-"helps" that we still think we're invincible after the first Gulf War. Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn't have been better for us in the long run if the Gulf War hadn't been a cakewalk, so we'd still think that we could lose wars.
