    That trident there is the symbol of my home country. Barbados.

    Futurama did a thing where they had an antagonist character named Barbados Slim. I am surprised that a UK resident has up the trident without knowing that it's Barbados connected... or at least that someone doesn't know the Barbados Slim joke.

    I understood the Futurama reference but did not make the connection to the country... the confusion being how the character related to me (especially since I probably related to Hermes most out of the cast)

    (as for the image, I was pretty tired at the time but I think that my reason for picking the trident at the time was greek god related)

    Heh, our Island is symbolized by the Broken Trident (Trident shortened to about that length) With Blue and yellow as flag colours. I thought you might be a fellow Barbadian living in England.

    Broken Trident being a symbol of breaking away from England (the powerful Naval power of its time)
