    Hey @sun tzu just to ask quick, on Champion in Earth Bet it's been two days since the newest vote was posted, I don't think that many more votes will come in at this point so I was wondering if the voting is going to be closed soon, just curious.

    Honestly, CorellianJedi, it's not unusual in quests for votes to just never officially be closed until the next update is written? Like, if there's a close vote and whoever is in the lead can change with just a few votes, then you wanna officially close it before you start writing the next update, but otherwise...

    Fair enough, haven't exactly been on and participated in many quests, so I wouldn't know, just to my weird brain I think it just makes sense to close it sooner than later, but I admit I don't know how things fully work, sorry if I'm troubling you at all.

    Sounds cool, do the t'au appear? Personal favorite faction for the mecha, practical tech, being the least evil faction.

    There's a tragic lack of fics about them.

    But I'll make sure to check it out. I only know a little bit of GI Joe but anything you write would be cool

    No Tau, alas, precisely because they're the least evil faction - G.I. Joe is in a weird place where they need to pretend they're loyal Imperium soldiers, and throwing in the Tau would make the situation even more morally complicated than it already is. XD

    Thank you! As I have said a number of times, worldbuilding is my jam. ^^
    Wildbow set an interesting stage and has changed the way I think about superheroes... but Worm definitely left a lot blank spaces on the canvas, so to speak.

    Did Ward and the info Wildbow gave out after Worm was completed give you anything to add or change? Obviously given when it came out there was no way you were gonna be able to insert stuff like Eagleton and the Machine Army without some serious edits of past updates, but I'm curious.

    I was re-reading A Champion in Earth-Bet, and I realized that between the FTL limit and Earth Gimmel's dimension travelling tech, you'd made it easier for humanity to build a multi-dimensional civilization than an interstellar one. I was wondering if that was just a coincidence or intentional? Because if it was the latter, that's a pretty clever piece of worldbuilding.

    It's actually worth keeping in mind that from Earth-Gimmel's perspective, interdimensional travel was a total unknown before Madman showed up with his "one step beneath omnipotence" tech, and any dimension-crossing tech they have is the result of flailing attempts at reverse-engineering Madman's stuff.

    The (relative) ease of travel between places like Earth-Aleph and Earth-Bet is very strange from the Avatar's perspective.

    They're bad, but they're small-scale. Compared to the amount of damage caused by the Slaughterhouse Nine, Madame Lustucru or Skylance, they're not exactly a top priority.
