Something I'm re-learning about myself is that I definitely go too far sometimes (with good intentions) and make things more complicated than they need to be. I need to buy myself some kind of machine that zaps me if I'm going too far.
I return after like a three year absence. Thinking of reviving one of my old quests, started a new one, and generally overcommitting to too much writing once again. Should be fun!
Are you ever going another round through a civ quest? It was fun to read to even with the voters' obstinacy with some decisions and the rather out-of-nowhere bad end. I'd like your writing style and how you capture the scene on a generational scale well without losing the intimacy of day-to-day struggles.
Lmao, I saw that tag from the other quest before you deleted it and I laughed out loud. I know some people would/did take offense to it but it was hilarious, whether you put it up or not.
