    Your GURPS Gamer fiction is amazing, it's letting me understand how GURPS terminology works!
    You'd think that be straight forward, but without the a e s t h e t i c prepackaging of the Gamer it never clicked in my brain until now.

    Are there any other GURPS Gamer fics you could point me towards?

    The short answer is no, in that I have never seen this anywhere else. Like maybe more exist, but I don't know about them.

    Broadly, in 2018 I fell out of writing habitually because my work schedule changed, and I've just not gotten myself back into carving out a solid block of time every week just for writing.

    Halfway through binging "Darling in the Franxx", the creepiness they're just writing in without particularly calling out... really works.

    At the end there were about three too many Crazy Space Twists there at the end, it lost the plot a little bit and kinda... it seemed rushed, and like it stopped making any damn sense.

    That whole thing with the Software Borg was strategically bad, should've just stuck with the goofy Original Species twist, that was already pushing the goofiness quotient plenty, without a bunch of Space Kaleidoscope voiceovers. Kinda ruined the hardcore dystopia angle when it got to be too much insane space magic.

    Word of friendly advice, even if it sounds kinda passive aggressive: Trying to make sense of certain threads in Worldbuilding is at best a fool's errand and at worst a good way to find out what aneurysms feel like. Sure, I am exxagerating a mite, but basically these kind of threads have been cyclically repeating for years, legitimately, and rarely they arrive to any meaningful conclusion.
