    The world has been formed and has entered into a new age. With this species have evolved and gained sentience. The first thing they decided to do was worship you. You as their saviour, you as their destroyer, you as their deity.

    Now, to lead your people and prove to them that you exist, you will need a avatar. Someone who will be blessed with your divine power and tasked with the job of bringing a golden age to your people.

    The cheating hero part is included because you the players, each get a single divine spark for each post I make. You may use that spark to do almost anything. Do you wish to empower your hero? Do that. Do you wish for your species to discover new technology? Do that. Do you want for a grand temple dedicated to you to be build in an instant? Do that.


    Basically, you guys take the place of gods and goddesses, but only your chosen hero can hear you. Yes, you SV got the direct connection to your chosen hero's brain. So, choose wisely what you wish to say to them. But the emphasis will still be mostly placed on the hero and civilization as a whole. You talking to your hero is just fluff but it will affect the hero's decisions on how they will guide civilization.


    Also, I got this idea and pretty much stole the quick notes part from Golum936 and his version of this quest.

    Out of curiosity, what is the appeal of Halflings? From what I can tell, it would be something like the Shire, with extra politics?

    Yeah, I don't really get it either.

    I do want to play a society thriving in the marginal lands of a volcano by calling upon their immense mastery of fire and other magic. I do want to play a human magocracy where magic is power is life and where the harshness of the environs has bred both tenacity and magical aptitude into a population.

    Such a society is ripe to sweep down from their volcanic abode to lift high the banner of conquest and crush all before them in a tide of magical talent and physical might.

    To be fair, it would probably be more a mage empire, rather than human. A magocracy would focus on magical skill as being what determines your right to rule, so as we meet other races, as long as they have magic, they'd be free to join up. And you also get to avoid the whole 'this race is special because they have x trait' thing that fantasy stories tend to do, since it's the study and use of magic that makes our people special.

    These were the last words that the gods spoke to the avatar and that was 20 years ago when they were but a child.


    However, the avatar is no longer a mere child and has gather knowledge beyond the comprehension of a normal man. The avatar has travelled not only the world, but the planes as well. The cold harsh blizzards of the ice plane and the raging thunderstorms of the lightning plane have all of been explored and knowledge of ancient lore has been gathered. The avatar was a god among men in turns of both knowledge and arcane might. Their will could shunder mountains has high as the sky is long, their voice could destroy an entire city with only a whisper.


    But, even with all this power the task before them was not yet done. The avatar was given a mission by the divine to build an empire, one that will stand against the test of time and fate themselves. The avatar used his power to find more like them those with magic running through their veins.


    The avatar gathered them and convinced them to join the soon to be built ________ Magocracy by using their superior intellect and magical abilities that the gods have given them. They build their new empire in the volcanoes, mountains covered the scorching combination of earth and fire. Most would see them as mad men, but those fools did not have the connection to fire like them. The wizards lived with the fire for the Fire and the Mages both shaped each other just like the gods said they did to the avatar so long ago.


    Now it is 73 ETY, your people have settled down and the territory under their control consolidated. Temples dedicated to you have been crafted and now your pantheon may finally have a true foothold in this world. Your avatar ask for your guidance. What do you ask in return for your favor?
