Okay,so I did a dumb and decided to do more than shitpost.
For those of you who have never played Mafia before, here's the basic premise, and one of the simplest versions which is what we're going to be doing: You've got two factions, Town and Scum.
Town: During the DAY PHASE you must all talk to each other and, from that, you must vote to determine who you think is Scum who deserves to be lynched. You will only find out someones alignment once they have been lynched or are killed. You win once all threats to your faction have been eliminated (Aka, No more Scum)
Scum: You must use the DAY PHASE to try and deceive, or otherwise mislead, Town into lynching other Town players. You will know the alignment of all the other players, and will have your own PM where you can co-ordinate things. One of you, at random, will also be empowered to kill a Town player during the NIGHT PHASE. Your objective is to get to the point where you have enough numbers to force a vote. Downside is, you'll have only a handful of players, so getting to that point will take some time and require you to be super sneaky.
I will also be giving people ROLES that they can use during the NIGHT PHASE. Not everyone will have a ROLE, but hat doesn't mean that you'll be powerless: You'll have your vote after all, and that could be the difference between lynching Scum or Town.
This mafia game is going to be NOC (No Outside Conversation), meaning you must make all of your claims and stuff regarding the game in the IC Mafia thread. Scum is exempt from this because they're scummy bastards who don't play by the rules of society (also they do kinda need it).
As a final Rule, you may NOT post your PM that declares your Alignment and any ROLE you may have. That doesn't mean that you can't say what your ROLE/Alignment is though, just that you can't post the proof of it.
The game is First come first serve, and who is Town or Scum will be determined by me, Your local benevolent Tyrant.
