Ponyville looks like it was absolutely wrecked. You see black crystals everywhere, and while it seems sunny, you have an ominous feeling.
No survivors spotted yet, until you see somepony wearing a hood. Following them, you go to see a fire. "Well well!" they say. They're female. "Look who's awake! Come, sit down, in conversation we'll partake!"
You sit by the fire. "Zecora?" you ask, tilting your head.
"Zecora is indeed my name, but you still seem groggy. A shame," she replies.
"My name?" you respond. "Don't wanna share it." You try some of the food the zebra cooked up. Looking around, you notice now the overgrowth covering a lot of the town.

The Open Fields

Leaving the tunnel, you emerge in a wide open field. There's the occasional tree, lakes, and quite a few ruins. Strange structures with glowing orange lines on them can be seen in the distance every so often, along with wreckage.
Further than the structures is a castle, surrounded by four pillars. You see foxes and deer in the fields, while herons pluck at the ground for worms. Dirt roads can be seen sprawling across the field, and between the structures and the castle is a tower. What look like metal spiders patrol the far sides of the field.
You can see orange bipedal figures wearing loincloth, with large ears, blue eyes, and a piglike nose. They look like they're looking for food, and so-
Tremors shake the ground, seeming to originate from the castle. Then you see something nightmarish. A black and red miasma, shaped like a boar, emerges.
Its golden eyes seem to only desire destruction, with you all being beneath it. The miasma roars, and it feels like a chill fills the air as the top of it briefly becomes black flames. Then another light appears. It's also golden, but more benevolent, with it seemingly pulling the miasma into the castle.

Your name is Thunderlane, and according to a nearby sign, this is the kingdom of "Hyrule."

You have chosen... The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! This is around "early-game," so not many spoilers. Besides, there's lots of butterflies... expect quite a few Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword elements.
