Once. . .

. . . Within the distant echoes of Midgard's dark past.

There was age of prosperity...

Murderhobo of Nod

The Antisocial Alpaca

Once. . .

. . . Within the distant echoes of Midgard's dark past.

There was age of prosperity, peace, and even hope. Descending from the highest heavens, six goddesses, with their heavenly voices, felled the land's Dark Lords, settled disputes between its many peoples, and ushered a final end to an age of darkness.

All rejoiced; For all was whole.

But that's not were our story truly begins. No, the goddess's while powerful, weren't that grandiose.

. . . But no less noble were they.

Originally.

Their collective story was far more tragic and bitter.

These six girls weren't even divinity - at first.

As ascension came only shortly after their supposed, and final deaths. No. Not even that. But instead came from another prisoner's failed suicide. Indeed. This world, this Midgard, is a cruel mistress.

For their idealism.

Death was their just reward.

They were rebels of the noblest sort - traitors who fought with heart, fire and sword. They sought to dethrone a lord known as Bass. A known killer of children, who loves making grotesque artworks, from squirming, mutilated bodies.

They opposed a terrible tyrant.

Even if they were young. Even if they didn't had power they had after their ascension.

These six fought. . .

. . . These six lost and died.

And It should of been the final end. . .

It wouldn't be.

It couldn't be.

A flower decided. They would do. They would do nicely. Even if its main host was useless to it, even if its host opposed it, they would do nicely.

One . . .

Who lead them all.

Two . . .

Who sought to protect.

Three . . .

Who followed destiny.

Four . . .

Who fought for justice.

Five . . .

Who fought for desire.

And Six . . .

Who was the most mysterious.

Happy with its fruitful odds. The Flower returns to its early works, Zero. . .

What kind of person was Six?
- [X] Cold: Her heart was like frigid ice without any trace of warmth.

- [X] Loving: Her heart was nurturing and motherly.
- [X] Arrogance: Her heart believes herself true as a pillar of utmost perfection.
- [X] Something Else?
-- [X] Write-In: (Subject to DM approval. Drakengard logic should apply.)

Excuse me for a moment,
GLEEE!!
*cough* Sorry, I've been waiting for a Drakengard quest forever. Anyways, on to the vote.

What kind of person was Six?
- [X] Something Else?
-- [X] Faithful: Her heart held Zeal for her Religion, that has now been wrapped by the roots of her Salvation

Loving arguably fits Zero, at least before she found out about the flower.

How old does Six look?
- [X] 16

What was Six in life?
- [X] An acolyte of god.

I have tendency to play assassin and criminal characters, so let's try acolyte!

Edit: Alright then Loving Faithful and Acolyte for me!

In advance, if you want a possible 'Creepy Flower Girl' Priest that's NOT-Manah...

- [X] 16 at LEAST (because DRAKENGARD! Intoners are kinda racy. And assuming that this Quest get's updated, it would most likely be the most safest of ages, if you're lucky.)
- [X] Something Else?
-- [X] Faithful: Her heart held Zeal for her Religion, that has now been wrapped by the roots of her Salvation
- [X] An acolyte of god.

Reason why I'm going faithful? Is because in Drakengard logic, what better god to serve than the Flower that saved her, when her gods abandoned her with spite?

Well two things.

1.) Intoners don't have to tread that path. At least in this version. Five will be Five. . .
2.) its not really going to be a focus in this quest.

Rebirth was a strange, strange feeling. . .

. . . Even if Six didn't realize it, she felt it, in both body and soul. She was alive. Air filled her lungs. Sensation returned. All of life's splendor with it. A miracle had saved her life - But sadly, it wasn't from her kind, benevolent god, she so foolishly cherished, and believed so dearly. It couldn't be.

A god wouldn't abandon their most devout.

A god wouldn't allow evil men into power.

A god wouldn't allow such suffering to exist.

It was another being, entirely, that regranted her life. She didn't even notice she was crying. Six felt so thankful, so very thankful, there was being out there, in existence, that saved those righteous.

So, she could only offer her prayers of gratitude and thanks, and what about her other sisters…?

Zero, One, Two, Three, Four, and Five?

. . . Are they alive too?

Six's eyes wandered this, what is this place?! It wasn't no warm room. . . But a cold, hellish dungeon, a sick memory shivered into her head. But it was blocked, locked away by another power - something she couldn't place a finger on.

Five of the sisters were here, whole, but in desperate need of clothes. Haggard with whatever fate that blessed them, Zero, however, was gone. One was the first to arose, as expected, she was the second-eldest, and the most responsible.

Two followed behind, with Three. . . Sleeping, here, all of places? Four was grouchy, and Five, pained, but otherwise awake. But still, no Zero, she. . . You couldn't bare the thought, she had to be alive, had to.

. . . She couldn't of fallen.

[X] Pray for Zero.
[X] Check with all her sisters. "A-a-are you alright?"
[X] Get your bearings. Laying on a dungeon floor is unhealthy.

"Zero. . ."

You murmur softly, heartbeat hastening. "Please be safe. . ."

"O spirit of righteousness, please shield and protect her, keep her whole, safe and sound."

Maybe it's selfish asking for so much?

But . . . If divine providence truly shielded both you and your sisters, you can't help but pray for missing, Zero. Even if you are extremely thankful for just being alive.

Aah, and your sisters too!

". . . A-a-are you alright?" No one in particular.

"Ha~n, I'm all sore and stiff, ow, oww, owwww. . ." Five winces out.

Four wobbly tries to stand up. "A-alrighy, here!'

". . . . ."

"Why is Three. . . . Asleep?!" Apprehensive at Three's brazen lethargy.

"Zzzzzz. . ." Three rolls over.

". . . I'm okay!!" Even Two is worse for wear.

"Where's Zero?" One catches on quickly, her ruby-red eyes searching for Zero's missing presence.

"I don't know, she wasn't with us, I hope she's safe."

"Oh no, they couldn't of taken her away into another cell, would they?"

"Zeeero's missing. . .!!!!?"

"And wear are my cloooothes?! Its too frigid in here!! I'll get frostbite and everything!"

"You are over-reacting, and we are in dungeon remember, probably Bass's. . ."

Everything save Three - quickly became very active, we were stripped, no one had any weapons, and it was a high possibility we were enemy territory - maybe even Bass's personal dungeon.

"How do we get out?!"

"Obviously through the door. . ."

One turns to Three, "Aah, Three, Three?! THREE!!"

"Y-yes?"

"Hmmn. . . Where's Zero?" She drones away like Zombie, lazily trying to get up.

"Not present, unfortunately."

"We'll find her eventually. . ."

. . . Hopefully.

[X] Talk to one of your Sisters?
- [X] One
- [X] Two
- [X] Three
- [X] Four
- [X] Five
[X] Try fiddling with Door?
- [X] How?!
[X] Try to form a plan?
- [X] What?
[X] You feel funny . . .
