Hey all! So over the past few days I've just released my freshly out of beta game: Karanduun. Basically, it's what you get if you mix SMT, K6BD, and Exalted together but you put some Filipino Myths and Folklore as the base mix. In it you play as heroes (inspired by Filipino heroes of epics and legend and history) that adventure into the world to get stronger so that they can eventually change it and gain that sobriquet, Karanduun, which means "worthy of kandu (a Visayan word for epic)".

System-wise, I've built it from a mix of PbtA (inspired by Broken Worlds and Dungeon World and a bit of Fellowship) and the Exalted 1e Quickstart. A dice-pool system of mostly d6s. You choose a Tungkulin (Filipino word for duty or responsibility) that you want to play as that works similarly to your Caste. As you level up, you can buy Moves from other Tungkulin.

The game is built for cool and usually gritty martial arts films like The Raid, as well as Anime like Kill La Kill and BnHA. There used to be Moves in the Beta that was just quotes from these anime, but I've since replaced them with blasphemous rewritings of Bible quotes (but they will always be there in my heart).

If you're interested, here's the link to the game! Thank you so much: (Itch.io link: Karanduun by LIQUORCANINI | DrivethruRPG link: Karanduun - liquorcanini | DriveThruRPG.com)

If you don't have any funds to spend, I periodically update the game page with community copies that you can pick up for free!

Thanks again everyone, and make God bleed.

Well, this looks cool. Gotten a group together to upload them doing a one-off or short campaign on youtube or some other platform yet? Hardest part's always trying to get the concept to click for people enough for them to take a risk and spend some time on it.

Not yet no, although I am in the process of looking for a way to stream or record it! I realize that that would be the easiest way for people to get into the game.
