Alexandra gritted her teeth, struggling to maintain the barrier she had cast over the bomb in the center of the command room, Olga Marie Animussphere gaping at the very object that would have ended her life.

"What the hell are you doing just standing there!? RUN YOU FOOLS!" The hybrid yelled, the command staff immediately evacuating the command room, though a certain Lev Lainur Flauros was internally screaming in frustration. He had just missed his chance to decapitate Chaldea, after all. He shook his head, deciding to ignore it. Chaldea's light would still go out, especially since he had planted a bomb at every single one of the reactors he had access to, though he still didn't know where the backup reactor was, curse Marisbury's caution. Slipping away from the Chaos, the demon pillar shifted himself to Fuyuki, awaiting the chaos that the destroyed Rayshift chamber would cause with sick anticipation.

Meanwhile, back at Chaldea, Lev Lainur's planted explosives continued to detonate, crippling Chaldea's operations for the next few years. However, intervention by various individuals drastically changed the outcome of the coming fight. The Rayshift Coffins, defended by intricate Fairy Letters and Runes survived, most of the Masters within heavily injured, but most certainly alive. Kirsctaria Wodime, one individual of note in a potential conflict managed to escape even heavy injuries, though the Coffin would disable his rayshift function, the success rate having dropped below 95%.

Meanwhile, in the burning rayshift chambers, Alexandra frantically searched for Mash, find her grasping the 48th and 49th Master's hands, crying softly as the Fujimaru twins comforted the poor Designer Baby, just as the bulkhead slammed shut.

"Central Bulkhead has been sealed. Beginning cleansing of internal structure in 180 seconds."

Oh, how I wish I could have prevented this...

Alexandra awoke, grimacing as she expended her stored emotions to show concern for the Fujimaru twins, the two lying side by side, clad in the standard Chaldea Master's uniform. Confirming to herself that they were alright, the hybrid tapped on her comm bracelet, turning it on fully.

"Alexandra to any Chaldean Masters, is anyone other than the Fujimaru Twins in the Singularity?" She asked, scanning her surroundings. It seemed Mash was nearby as well, the girl clad in Galahad's armor, sparking a pang of longing in the Second Magus of Flowers. It seemed that the eight other inhuman masters were near her as well, all in various states of consciousness. Turning to address those waking up, Alexandra spoke, "We need to assess our situation fast. Mash, stand guard. Everyone else, plans, now."

I, Lilliana Fluchesser, groan as I wake up, and promptly startle up. The air... it's filled with the scent of curses. Countless numbers of them. Enough I'm not sure if I could eat them all.. I looked to Alexandra. "Well wherever the hell we are, I can smell that it's absolutely *loaded* with curses."

I hum and quickly check myself over. Fluffy coat? Check. Knife that hurts a thousand times over? Check. My familiar/doll? Not check. Fuck. Must have left her asleep in my room. I swallow a hiss at that, my forked tongue brushing against my fangs. "Well. I suggest we try to find shelter and a lay of the land ASAP. My Curse Eating means the curses here won't be a problem for me.. But I can't eat a Curse on someone else."

Mercury didn't understand why all of the Not Foods were running around so much, nor why they ran away from her when she found the food that beeped really quietly. But they got really noisy when she didn't have a Not Food following her. She rushed after the screaming Not Foods while chewing and melting at the beeping thing. It was at that moment the ground shook and roaring booms ripped through the facility.

Luckily for the nearby staff members however they had managed to lock the clueless living metal behind one of the emergency blast doors by taking advantage of it's casual sedate wanderings. So when the beeping food beeped louder all of a sudden she was the only one caught in the blast that shredded the surrounding hallway, splattering Mercury quite literally across the hall. Burbling in confusion the living mass of quicksilver pulled itself back together and continued it's wandering, it even saw the nice orange fluffy not food for a few moments. In the end however some staff managed to corral the innocent liquid towards where it's abnormal appetite could be put to the most use, helping free the trapped and injured Master Candidates.

The living metal shuddered away from the uncomfortable flames and began to eat and metal away at one of the strange food shells. It was during this that the home noise kept saying funny words, but Mercury kept ignoring that in favour of eating. It was during this that her world was consumed by light and she found herself elsewhere.

Not longer was Mercury surrounded by a home made of Food that was Not Food. Instead she found herself surrounded by rock and flame, and strange things that kept hitting her. With another aggravated "Auuu!" she quickly disposed of another of the annoying thin Not Food, morphing her arm into a heavy ball to break the Thin Thing. But at least some of the Thin Things carry food. Thus she was content to pick at their weapons as she looked for one of the less annoying Not Food. After all she doesn't like it when they make noise at her for being alone.

Llewelyn inhaled deeply the cursed, ash filled air of Fuyuki. It brought back memories. 1666 was such a thrilling year. The old instincts were already coming back, his hand twitching, his gaze studying the surrounding. This Singularity, it was a curious place. A land of the dead if he had seen one. And yet, in this place resided something wishing to twist the greater narrative, and not even to tell an interesting story. And that wouldn't do. That would not do at all, no matter how drab the world insisted on becoming.

Humming, he smiled and bowed to Alexandra.

"And so, we meet again, Mistress of Flowers. I have heard you gave Association quite the bloody nose since we last met?" Scanning his surroundings, his smile widened. "Firstly however, I would suggest we vacate the open area. Who knows what sort of fellows hunt in those ruins."

Without waiting for answer, he stepped towards the unconscious Masters. Within moments, their tale became so much more interesting, it would not do for them to vacate the stage just yet, no? Reaching for their foreheads, he placed his palms upon their brows.

There was no great lights show, no surge of power, no change to either of them or even him. Their chests rose and fell with their breathes as they did before, and the cursed city continued to burn.

And yet, for this little adventure in the burning city, those two whose story so violently shifted genres would see that their fortunes would go a bit better. Perhaps a flash of insight when the extra bit of wisdom was needed? Or maybe the blow that could not be avoided would miss? Or possibly their eyes would be drawn at opportune time towards something that needed attention?

Llewelyn could not tell, and did that not make it all the more worth it?

Sefarina stood, observing the ash-filled landscape of the Singluarity. Something about this city... it seemed familiar to her, somehow. Not the atmosphere, certainly, but the buildings themselves, the layout...

It clicked into place. "Fuyuki." She announced to the group. "Most likely in the year 2004, or one close to it. Very little, aside from the obvious, seems to have changed from when I was last here. Curious..."

I looked to Alexandra. "Well wherever the hell we are, I can smell that it's absolutely *loaded* with curses."
"As a battlefield would, I imagine." Sefarina muses. "It would seem that there are many lower-class spirits in the vicinity as well. Wraiths and Apparitions from those who have fallen. Perhaps we could get some information from them."
I hum and quickly check myself over. Fluffy coat? Check. Knife that hurts a thousand times over? Check. My familiar/doll? Not check. Fuck. Must have left her asleep in my room. "Perhaps." The Enforcer acknowledges. "Are you willing to look inside these burning buildings? Brave their smoke, test their structural integrity and discover whatever foes may be lying in wait?" She shakes her head. "No, it is more wise to stay here, in the open. At least this way, we'll be able to see enemies coming, reduce risk of smoke inhalation for those who have reason to fear it, and remain safe from our shelter collapsing with us in it."

Arrow was laying on the floor in 'his' room when it happened, it wasn't technically his room but he was the only one that ever used it due to the fact that no one but Arrow really used a bow or made their own arrows. The room was mostly filled with various supplies and tools for maintenance and crafting of his arrows and bow. At the time Arrow was attempting to create a new kind of arrow, a special arrow, an ultimate arrow even, it would be his pride and joy, his magnum opus. He had been working towards this goal for years now moving through various woods, metals, and minerals, he had plucked feathers from birds throughout the world constantly trying to find what best compliments his runes. He had gone through numerous combinations of runes none quite right for his goal.

The explosions began right as he was tossing yet another failed product into the growing pile behind him, Arrow was getting frustrated he had been trying for over a decade, and whilst to a being such as him the time was nothing it was still supremely annoying. The explosions rang throughout the room destroying a wall and setting off the more unstable failures, not helped by the fact his room was close to the generators. The unstable failures caused a chain reaction among all the other failures igniting yet another explosion this time full of various elements from his runes.

Luckily Arrow had prepared for this scenario and had runes carved into the walls to stop the explosion from spreading, unluckily that did not help Arrow who was still inside the room only saved by a few hastily drawn runes forming a barrier that protected him enough to only get flung across the room and get knocked out on the far wall.

------
Arrow slowly stumbled upright from his side, his four legs struggling to find purchase on the loose rubble and ash, raising a hand to his head where he could feel a headache beginning to form along with a rather nasty feeling bump.

"What happened? All I remember is an explosion and some failures detonating around me" looking around quickly before suddenly halting his head, he is not meant to feel that lightheaded from a simple act of looking around he definitely hit his head harder than he thought.
"The failures had a surprisingly powerful blast and I'm pretty sure my head has been hit against at least one wall from it."

"Though I agree shelter should be a priority, who knows what caused this, though if we can't I have a few runes that could make a decent barrier"

"Though I agree shelter should be a priority, who knows what caused this, though if we can't I have a few runes that could make a decent barrier"
Sefarina nods, then turns to address the group. "You all should work on creating Boundary Fields in this general vicinity. We want to have as much protection as possible while. I'll survey the area, see if there is anything of note."

With that, she raises a hand, and the wind in the area changes direction, blowing towards her, forming into a dense, protective cloak. The cloak loosens, bulging outwards into a more loose sphere around her. She begins to fly upwards, her image shimmering, before disappearing altogether.

Up in the sky, above the buildings, Sefarina surveys the city with a bird's eye view, searching for anything visibly important. Should she see anything somewhat relevant, she will create a series of lenses to zoom in on whatever it is. She takes care to specifically focus on the areas of the Tohsaka Manor, the Civic Center, and Mount Enzou, seeing as they were the places at which the leylines converged.

If there's one thing Xala wasn't expecting, it was getting catapulted her to this burning ruin of a city. Unsurprisingly, the ground was a less than ideal place for a nap, though she had dealt with worse than scorching hot concrete to get a nap in, it was still far from comfortable.

Taking her time getting to her feet, Xala began to feel irritation, not bringing any of her creations along with her seems to have been a mistake, even her glasses could've been of some help with whatever this is all about.

The buildings were coated in flames, the smoke and ash looked to be attempting to black out the sky. Irritating, if anything was on top of those buildings, she wouldn't be able to know they were there until they made their move… She would throw together a familiar, but staying in the same place for too long may prove to be a mistake. If she gets the chance, she'll create one, but she'll need to find a safe place to do so first.
Sefarina nods, then turns to address the group. "You all should work on creating Boundary Fields in this general vicinity. We want to have as much protection as possible while. I'll survey the area, see if there is anything of note."
Xala moves to start work on a quick detection bounded field, bringing her hood up over her head. If anyone passes through it, her hood will fall off her head, and her coat will shake for two seconds.

Crack, Crunch, Snap. The noise of Thin Things breaking sounded out over and over again until Mercury found herself once more standing alone and gnawing at another rusted Sharp Food. Even still she had yet to find any of the Not Foods to follow her, the noisy thing they gave to her and some of the other Not Foods not helping beyond making noise that sounded like a question, had it not been muffled by the fact the noisy thing was floating around in her body.

Still, she had a feeling she was getting close as the bad magic wasn't as strong here. And if she looked closely, she could just almost catch a hint of familiar not bad magic. Not bad magic means Not Food. And Not Food following means they won't be noisy at her. Maybe there will be some Thing Things with more food too, even if the rusty taste isn't as good as the food they have at Not Food Home.

With these thoughts in mind Mercury meandered in the general direction of the less bad magic.

Kaede groans s the crackling of her radio raises her to consciousness.
"Alexandra to any Chaldean Masters, is anyone other than the Fujimaru Twins in the Singularity?"
coughing a bit, she replies, "this is Silk, I'm alive but not much more than that.", and then she manages to take stock of her surroundings. "Anyone know why literally everything is on fire? ain't seen shit like this since World War 2"
"Wait. Fuyuki? As in the site of the Holy Grail Wars..?"
"...okay that might explain a thing or two. Hold tight Alexandra, I'm coming to you".

She then suits deed to word and sets off across the destroyed city.

Alexandra smirks lightly at Lleywen's comment, the memory of the suffering the magus she had trashed making her feel warm and fuzzy inside. She may have picked up a few sadistic tendencies after living for 1000+ years.

"Nice to see you as well, Faery. It's good that we have a smith of your caliber amongst us."

"Fair enough though.. the sheer number of curses is. Surprising.. even for a battlefield. Wait. Fuyuki? As in the site of the Holy Grail Wars..?"
Alexandra's eyes sharpened, immediately sending her sense out, scanning for that oh so familiar servant signature. She, unfortunately, could not home in on it, but it was there, amongst the countless curses, the countless sufferings that infused this hellscape. My King...
"True enough. I didn't think of it like that."

Mash Kyrielight grimaced as she woke up, fully expecting to have returned to the root. To her surprise, she was alive, and being held in the arms of a pair of twins, the very same ones who had risked everything to stay by her side as she faded away. So merging with that servant wasn't a fever dream after all. She mused, glancing at her body, which was now clad in purple armor.

"I'm glad your okay, Mash." Ritsuka Fujimaru sighed, his sister, Ritsuko, nodding as her brother helped their new friend up, "The others have been setting up bounded fields, apparently. I'm still hella new to this magecraft stuff, so I can't really tell.

Mash nodded, having noticed that several bounded fields were present, along with the heavy presence of curses in the air.

"Glad you're up and at em Mash." Alexandra called out, "Especially since you're basically our only counter to most of the servants that'll be present here." She shivered, as did the other magi as several undead entered the vicinity of the bounded fields, the barriers letting the magi know how many there were, along with Sefarina's incoming report.

While scouting the area, you notice a massive amount of zombies and skeletons advancing towards the group setting up bounded fields. You also see that you are near the School, about a block away.

Llewelyn drunk in the sadistic glee that briefly crossed Alexandra's eyes. So it seems the gentle, beautiful flower discovered the joys of thorns. Maybe, after this was over, she would finally enjoy riding with the Hunt? He files a mental note to offer an invitation once this is over. Chuckling, he shakes his head.

"You flatter me, but I am afraid most of my finest crafts long since have been redistributed as gifts for a variety of occasions all across Faerie and beyond, and which did not, I am afraid I left behind, outside of Chaldea." Frowning, he continues. "Which likely means they burnt into non-existence." He gives a short laugh. "But that just means I can experience the joy of remaking them from scratch! Although I would need certain materials I doubt could be easily obtained in those circumstances."

Turning around to face the twins and the homunculus, he gives a shallow bow, even as he shrugs off the alarm of the incoming undead.

"Ah, it seems our unlikely protagonists are up and about. Just in time, I say, things are about to get interesting. The name is Llewelyn, a craftsman and a spellcaster of some skill. While Director made sure everyone would know the names of Master Candidates, may I hear your Names from you personally? A bit of a habit where I am from, you understand."

Meanwhile, the Fujimaru twins stood at attention,

"My name is Ritsuka Fujimaru"

"And mine is Ritsuko Furjimaru!"

Thinking about it a little more, Xala figured she may as well extend the shaking to the rest here, it wouldn't take too long, just a few extra seconds to set up. Having done so, Xala then adds a small illusion feature onto the Field, preventing anyone else from seeing or hearing anything she and the group with her would say, while they themselves could still see and hear each other.

Xala spoke into her communication bracelet, "This is Xala, I've constructed a basic detection field, you're shirts will shake when anything enters, and have set up an illusion, suggestions for the protective field?" While, sure, she could just set one up right now, Xala wanted to hear what the others would like in one first.

Just as she finishes, her hood falls off and coat beings shaking, signifying enemies already. "Hm, we have company..." Speaking into her bracelet again, she warns the group.

Llewelyn lets their introductions hang in the air, licking his lips as his eyes glint and he tastes those Names, mulling them over in his head. They are good names, he decides. Honest and eager. Simple, but there is a certain charm to this simplicity.

Then he offers a smile and grabs each twin's hand and plants a gentle kiss on the palm.

"A pleasure."

Yes, it would definitely be a shame if they were to die so early. And so, he straightens up and draws his blade, the crystalline surface catching the glint of the flames and comes to life in the aura of reds and oranges.

"Now however, if you could excuse me, it seems the dead in this city are quite eager to add to their ranks and that, I cannot allow." Showing his teeth with the smile, he adds. "After all, spiriting interesting people to entertain is my hobby."

Sefarina engages her commlink. contacting Kaede and Mercury. "This is Enforcer Sefarina. I am preforming overwatch for the largest group of survivors in the vicinity. The best route for you to take is..." She begins giving instructions to the two stragglers, guiding them from their current location to the one she was floating high above.

While giving instructions, she bent the air so as to be able to view both of their positions while angled away from them, and then turned to the approaching horde. She sighs inwardly, and creates convergences in the air a couple meters in front of her, compressing it into extremely tight bolts, which she fires down at the horde. They each hit with the force of a bullet, and explode in a blast of air afterwards. She imagined Llewelyn would feel deprived of the chance to fight in melee, but this was the far more efficient option.

The best route for you to take is..." She begins giving instructions to the two stragglers, guiding them from their current location to the one she was floating high above.

Mercury continued making her way to the Not Bad feeling of the Not Food's magic while the Noise Thing made noises at her. En-for-cer. That was an important Not Food right? Oh, For-ward, turn r-ight? Direction! The Not Foods taught her this! The living metal followed the directions of the En-For-Cer, breaking any Thin Things she came across until she found a big gathering of Thing Things and Not Foods that were falling apart.

When when of the Not Foods tried eating her however she quickly proved that she wasn't food as bladed tendrils whipped out reducing it to bits. More and more of them started swarming around her however forcing her to form more and more weaponized appendages until her humanoid form was gone, reduced to a flailing mass of blades and maces that lashed out at anything dumb enough to get close. Which the Thin things and Breaking Things were.

"Understood," Alexandra noted, "I'll start setting up a protective field, on top of a detection field."

Alexandra's eyes sharpened, immediately sending her sense out, scanning for that oh so familiar servant signature. She, unfortunately, could not home in on it, but it was there, amongst the countless curses, the countless sufferings that infused this hellscape. My King...

I hum, eying the demi-servant, then the half-succubus. So she knows about the 'canon' events..? "What do you mean, Alexandra?"
Alexandra laughed softly at the Fae's answer. "Only you would enjoy the challenge of remaking your finest works!"

Meanwhile, the Fujimaru twins stood at attention,

"My name is Ritsuka Fujimaru"

"And mine is Ritsuko Furjimaru!"
I nod to them. "Lilliana Fluchesser. Nice to meet both of you, though I wish it was under better circumstances." I blink and sniff, noticing the curses.. animating a bunch of skeletons.

"Well. Those things smell like whatever's animating them will make a good meal.." I grin, mouth watering as I pull my knife out.

I grin, and take advantage of the carnage to buff myself up with Curse Eater, via eating two weakness curses. Then, I rush at the skeletons, lashing out at the closet dozen, not my knife, but a curse meant to take the curses off something else then onto me. Then, as soon as I could, I activated Curse Eating. Their curses seemed to be animating them, and I bet would taste amazing~

@0th Law
While scouting the area, you notice a massive amount of zombies and skeletons advancing towards the group setting up bounded fields. You also see that you are near the School, about a block away.
Nodding along to what everyone's saying whilst only paying the barest attention Arrow began trotting around the group, stopping only to scribble down runes in seemingly random places, backtracking and going in circles each stop placing both different and identical runes which as time passed quickly began forming into a intricate pattern.

Finishing up his barrier he shook his head at it, "Far from my best work, a shoddy barrier, sure it can withstand basic attacks but if I had more time or preparation it would be three times as strong and three times as large, at minimum" Arrow was a bit of a perfectionist, he would be the first to admit and looking at this hasty barrier hurt him and his pride.

Arrow looked up at that already drawing his bow and reaching for an arrow, then he saw it, a veritable horde of undead coming towards the group. Arrow smiled, this was finally a chance to show what he was made of and a chance to release the frustrations of having his room, his workshop, his centuries of notes, destroyed in an instant and by the Gods was he going to relish this chance.

Seeing others from the group begin their attack Arrow pulled out a basic arrow, plain wood, plain fletching, and no runes, moving to a slightly higher elevation Arrow pulled back the bowstring and fired, the runes inscribed on the bow itself giving enough power to make sure the arrow would make the distance, it was off by the barest margin, it would have still hit something but the blasts of air coming from above knocked away the arrow.

Pulling out a different arrow, this time a pale wood with a delicate-looking feather working as the fletching, it was inscribed with numerous runes along the length of the wood. Nocking the arrow he looked out at the sea of opponents, breathing evenly he released the arrow, it flew the distance to the target in an instant seemingly ignoring the blasts of wind to penetrate through the skulls of the undead and dig into the ground.

"Just a few simple wind runes combined with another few runes to increase the speed and penetration power makes an arrow that is quite difficult to stop" speaking to himself, his smile widening as he quickly drew and fired another arrow repeating the familiar motion he had performed countless time he began to unleash a hail of arrows, the barrage taking down many of the undead even if each individual arrow was weak the sheer number being fired more than made up for it.

Sighing at the therapeutic motions he made a note to try to avoid his allies moving to engage in melee, it wouldn't be good to shoot his only help in this burning city.

GM Post
Lev Lanuir was annoyed. More specifically, he wanted the fucking Magus of Flowers (The Second one) dead. Ordering the Blackened Pendragon to kill someone that was dear to her was easy, and it gave him sadistic pleasure to watch her struggle with the order, trying to find some way to let the group that her subject was with surviving, before seemingly becoming resigned. Immediately afterwards, the Blackened King sent orders to Archer and Lancer, ordering them to stop pursing the annoying gnat that was Caster Cu Chulain, and hunt a new target. Little did Lev know, that Artoria had concealed a smirk as she sent the order, content on fucking with her "Master's" Plans.

The Blackened EMIYA and Medusa immediately stopped in their tracks, obeying the new orders like the mindless robots they basically were. A flicker of defiance echoed within EMIYA for but a moment, but it was extinguished shortly afterwards, the mindless servant setting up shop on the Fuyuki Bridge, aiming towards the group of Inhumans and Humans that had found themselves in Fuyuki. Medusa began closing in, headed right for the group.

Mash watched in awe as the group of inhumans that Marisbury had recruited slaughtered the skeletons like a well oiled machine, while a few of them attended to Ritsuka and Ritsuko sempai. Just as the young Demi Servant was about to call out to her new friends, she sensed a horrible, horrible presence, something evidently shared by Alexandra and the other magically inclined inhumans.

"Servant INCOMING!" Mash yelled, grasping her shield and getting into a ready position, silently cursing and thanking the heroic spirit that had lent her his or her power.

Mercury jerked as she felt two strong Bad Magic Things close in, one headed right for her. Pulling her form back into the one that the Not Foods seemed to be calmer around she turned to face the Bad Thing, Idly breaking any thin thing that decided it no longer wished to continue existing with a quick last of an arm.

Moving forward her golden eyes remained locked onto the rapidly approaching signature until the Bad Thing of came into sight.

I reflexively sniff as Mash calls out, my stomach growling. "I smell em! They've got a nasty curse on them. Strong enough I would have trouble eating it." I devour my way through the remaining skeletons, as I take advantage of my enhanced strength, toughness, and speed to rush in the direction I smell the approaching servant. I ready myself to swing the pain knife as soon as I get close enough.

Kaede finally managed to pick her way towards the group.
"ah, good, more than I expec-"
I sigh
"...of course. I'll take vanguard, blasty types behi-"

"aaaand there she goes", I run to keep up "Oi! Stick with me! don't get isolated!"
