What does diplomatic action mean? Talk to people or spend gpd?
Talk to people. Antebell and Oddenhurst are in talks to split their island, so that's usually what it comes down to. In your case, it would be talking to one of the three royal lineages. Each has its advantages and disadvantages.
-Wed the prince to the Wilheim line.
One of the older dynasties with tons of clout and prestige. Downsides would intertwining the Hugonaus line with the Wilhiem line, something that has been adamantly avoided for centuries due to the Wilhiems being immortal predators. Still, would make for a powerful pairing.
-Wed the prince to the Oddenhurst Barony
He may just be a Baron, but the Odden line is another prestigious family that has long commanded respect. Positives would be it would be a fairly stable alliance due to the countries having a shared history about six-hundred years ago. Downsides would be wedding the Hugonaus line, arguably the greatest human dynasty on the two continents, to a Baron.
-Wed the prince to the Tuath De line
This one's a gamble. The Hugonaus and Tuath De haven't really had cause to interact up until this point in history. Their monarchies claims are a bit different, Hugonaus drawing on the sovereignty earned during the Age of Strife, Tuath De drawing on an ancestral claim to the lands. So who knows.

I haven't given serious thought to it. The Hugonaus line would be in danger of ending, which would be pretty historic. It mainly just has narrative ramifications
Letter excerpt from Queen Saoirse Tiernan, to King Krieg Hougonaus
To send one of the daughters of the Throne of Tuath Dé such a distance is a difficult thing. Not only would she be one of the very few to ever marry outside our nation, she would be the first marriage of a different continent. Only the similarities of our two people will let us even consider such a thing, for we are both Monarchies which embrace the sciences.
First, We require Our younger sister and her children to make regular return visits to Tuath Dé. She is beloved of Our Family and people, and We desire to know our future nephews and nieces. Such visits will be paid from Our Royal Purse and be aboard Our Royal Navy ships.
Second, We require the sharing of Your Kingdom's latest technological advances in the fields of airships and construction. There will be no reciprocal transfer of technology from Our Kingdom.
We will grant Your people the same favoured merchant ship rates as Our close Ally, the Fausta Republic. Such a boon should be very helpful to Your international trade.
We will grant Your request of a Lady of Royal blood for Marriage to Your Crown Prince. And with that Marriage, We will sign an Eternal Treaty of Friendship.
With just the orginal 3 actions a piece it will be alot of work to keep up with ten players, especially with the amount of details put into the influence actions.
The Oddenhurst Barony would be amendable to splitting the Island straight down the Middle. Perhaps not the most elegant of solutions but makes things easier for the both of us as we will then not be arguing over what geographical feature to use has to be border.
The Oddenhurst Barony would willing to marry one of our family unmarried daughters to the Crown Prince of his choosing in the interest of forging a stable alliance between our two great nations.
Our nations have a shared history that goes back to six-hundred years ago and we are old Monarchies with the respect and love of our individual people's.
We would be willing to make your nation as our most favored trading partner and provide aid in times of economic trouble provided your willing to render us the same service.
We would like to have the Crown Prince are our Daughter to visit our home once every year or more so we will be able to interact with them and their children. These visits will of course be paid for by the Oddenhurst Barony.
Finally we would be willing to share whatever new discovers we make in the future with your kingdom and lend technical aid if so desired exchanged that you too will share your future discovers with us.
Signed. Holvaster Oddenhurst, Baron of the Oddenhurst Barony.
(OOC: I just picked a name because I could not find if the baron had been named our not already and it would have sounded weird having it say Signed. Baron of the Oddenhurst Barony.)

We thank you for your long memory. Hougonaus is suffering a minor Schrodinger resource freefall. Because Hougonaus cannot guarantee our economy to be strong in the years to come. Our leader has chosen to not accept a marriage between our nations out of concern we both may fall down, instead of just one.
Closer economic ties are something our leader is interested in at this time, but due to prior investments Hougonaus will take a while before progress can be made to enhance the trade between our two nations.
Thank you for pointing this out, the whole point of this quest (besides exploring modernization themes) is playtesting the economics system. In truth, you'll want to generate lots of GPD, and hopefully have some stored up, because between raising and moving armies you may find yourself spending a lot. I'm also experimenting with other ways to tweak things, but its made difficult by the other requirements of the quest. Suffice to say, you guys keeping track of your own GPD and economy keeps things manageable, and in the future you'll probably find yourself blowing through all your money very quickly.

I'm asking no-one to respond yet (as far as your official replies go) because we're still waiting on Juleon and the Dawn Republic. But I did want to post what I had so far and highlight some things.
First off, you'll notice units have new prices and turn times. I'm trying this out, we'll see how it goes. It definitely leads into my next thing
This is the last turn I'm formating like I have been. The next turn, and every turn after, will all be narrative updates detailing your heroes adventures in context of your empires. You'll still be making choices and building your economies and such, but you'll be keeping track of your empire on your own posts, and I'll be keeping track in the background of the story updates.
So I just wanted to give a heads up there as to how I was going to try it from here on out. Again, don't reply to this update quite yet, as we're waiting on two more player responses, but I'm looking forward to building the lore of this world based on your guys' choices in-game
Edit: And I meant to mention all resources are now generating 2 units, as in, if you have iron or rubber or whatever, you're now getting 2 units per turn. Of all the resources you have
Well, A big problem is the resource system as it currently is, is a large bit of book-keeping that doesn't really add much in regards to the game. It could certainly use a rework. Perhaps just making the resources just those of strategic importance for the military, and taking the math out of it by just having those be sources; if you've got a material it's presumed you have enough.
And to balance out the GPD growth spam, maybe adding in government and/or superhero expenses and the economy grows larger to cover administrative costs or such?
I am going to ask about this. Is this something we are all over looking in our bookkeeping or is it a upcoming event? kind of like the 1929 stock market crash which lead to the great depression?
Also do you want me to roll for the resources of the Uran Empire?
