Good afternoon! This Saturday is the next townhall meeting! Join us on Discord to talk about SV, raise concerns or suggestions, or just chat! Or maybe just end up joining the after-meeting insanity.

Going to jump onto CmptrWz's coattails to explain the Very Special Episode we're having.

As you may or may not be aware, SV has built, and will be introducing, a new tagging system. This system, combined with some changes to how we manage tags, will be a big step forward in terms of categorisation, organisation and discoverability. Part of getting this new system working is deciding what the architecture of the tags themselves will be like.

This Saturday we would like to explain this in more detail and then canvas for preliminary opinions. While we have our own views (as the people who have to actually make it work lol) it has an effect on users and we'd like to hear from as many of you as we can. The townhall coming up is lucky timing so we thought we'd use that as a starting point.

We don't expect that this will take up the whole meeting so otherwise expect the usual shenanigans

Now that voting and other activities central to the townhall for December month has come and gone and the opportunity for resumed dialogue with new and returning council members fast approaches, I would like to seek clarification on something. That is, past transcripts searched populate as recently as third weekend August or so. Am I correct in assuming the meetings go only that far, recorded remarks wise?

@waito_x Unofficial council-produced transcripts tend to be placed in this thread currently. There aren't really any more official transcripts, and the current trend is replacing the thread with each new council.
