QMs note: An isekai where you're a tree, after a lot of bumpy life stuff i've gotten to writing again, this is a totally normal isekai I definitely haven't moved the power fantasy down a few notches.

Those words flashed before your eyes as you felt yourself falling both to the ground and asleep, the feeling in your limbs was starting to disappear as you faded away, your thoughts becoming simpler and simpler before for a moment they ceased, to be contained only within your small skill was the entirety of a human's existence till death.

Drawback: Life is tough on the desert, all the other plants will do their best to compete against you and it's chock full of weeds and other things that would prove a problem for a plant.

From the looks of things these all solve the problem of you not having any ability to sense your surroundings in different ways, Mana sight seemed like a genuinely worse option then the others but it might have some hidden capabilities but they'd come at the price of not being able to see colors, awareness feels like an average choice not really all to special but a good option nonetheless i would probably pick it if the other choices weren't that good, Spirit sight felt the same as mana sight esoteric but missing more basic sensory capabilities. The last three seemed to revolve around giving me a body to use although they had some subtle differences, Body creation dryad notably called it a secondary body and not a body to possess and says i gain a second body rather than create one, the last two options seemed far simpler of a choice essentially being quantity versus quality.

As soon as I clicked the option I felt an energy slowly gathering above me, it somehow felt both like a sort of staticy tingle like i was touching a door knob but also felt like a gentle warmth it was like I was laying down on the beach, I couldn't see it but i choose to imagine it looked like I was charging up a spirit bomb but this one would actually be a useful helper rather then an attack that has only ever worked once and i could tell that this one wasnt going to take forever to charge up too!
It took about a minute of waiting before I saw a new screen pop up in front of me. It looked like a character customization screen if someone added a new slider for every single detail they could find, scrolling down there were even options for bone density and hair follicle length, 'build a bear can't beat build a waifu' I dove into making a body and after a couple rather interesting minutes and a number of sillier looking designs I had my dream girl and now it was time to make her a reality!
I pressed the option to finally make them without much fanfare, or well not visible fan fare there was lots of cheering and excitement in my head as I felt them forming, I knew it was done once I started to see a blurry gray and green image, her eyes were week for now but I was pretty sure she was slowly growing better at seeing, her eyes were probably like a new born babes, not adapted to see properly yet still even without sight I could sense some things, I could feel her every breath, the rolling of her eyes with every blink and the subtle weight of gravity that was pulling down on her flesh, things I had never noticed as a human, and now would only ever feel by proxy.

I wasn't sure how long I was waiting before I noticed that my dryad could finally see clearly, she was staring at a small seed surrounded by a burning ash filled wasteland. The seed had already shot out a few roots and was slowly growing its stem, two small leaves having already sprouted, despite all of the signs of destruction around, it was unharmed and the sign was shining on it, an inspiring sight of life's ability to persevere no matter what, my ability to persevere no matter what.
Not to mention my knowledge of plant biology tells me that being surrounded by all this ash would give me an amazing source of nutrients, especially if you could have your dryad make sure to kill any other plant life around, and give them to use as fertilizer, I'm not sure what reduced the area around me into such a flat plain of ash but I wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

At some point of my time being a plant I discovered I could sort of fall asleep, it wasn't quite like falling asleep more like losing track of time and not realizing days had passed at once. Honestly convenient although I wonder how many times I stopped paying attention just for days to pass, now normally I don't mind not paying attention my dryad would keep doing whatever I had told them to do which mostly consisted of getting rid of any grass or weeds that tried to grow near me but something had gotten my attention.
Another screen popped up into my vision, but this time it was glowing golden, and somehow filled me with a sense of awe. It was like the animation that played when you got a six star event gotcha character, this was something rare, something special.

[Memories of Earth] wasn't that useful of a skill, all it did was remind me of life when I was a human. Besides using it to perhaps mentally replay episodes of an anime I liked, I didn't see much reason to even use it, there was nothing in my past worth viewing and it seemed to take up vital skill slots, which were clearly limited, it wasn't even something like eidetic memory which would be useful to have it was specific to only memories that came from when I was human not all the time I was alive.

Worse yet it was an active skill, I'd have to actively work to just dredge up memories of earth it was useless, I didn't have anything worth salvaging from when I was alive maybe if I was a botanist with knowledge of plants or an engineer that could pull a convincing doctor stone impression but- I couldn't use it for that could I? A flash of brilliance came upon me and I tried to see if it was possible to use the skill to get memories that weren't mine, I never did watch the season finale of that show, focusing for a moment I felt myself slowly growing blind to the world, like I was hibernating without the loss of focus slowly an image came to my mind a muddled and confusing image that was taking a while to correct it small details and colors shifting until I finally recognized the sight for what it was, a movie theater playing the beginning of an anime movie that would of course be non canon, I dropped the skill everything else coming to focus immediately in contrast to the slow dream like scenery shift of me actually using the skill, left me a little disoriented worse then the first time I used it, from what I could tell memories that weren't mine were harder to see but it was possible to see them and that would be Incredibly useful, it'd be like having an even better if less convenient version of Wikipedia.

It looked like a character customization screen if someone added a new slider for every single detail they could find, scrolling down there were even options for bone density and hair follicle length, 'build a bear can't beat build a waifu' I dove into making a body and after a couple rather interesting minutes and a number of sillier looking designs I had my dream girl and now it was time to make her a reality!
I pressed the option to finally make them without much fanfare, or well not visible fan fare there was lots of cheering and excitement in my head as I felt them forming, I knew it was done once I started to see a blurry gray and green image, her eyes were week for now but I was pretty sure she was slowly growing better at seeing, her eyes were probably like a new born babes, not adapted to see properly yet still even without sight I could sense some things, I could feel her every breath, the rolling of her eyes with every blink and the subtle weight of gravity that was pulling down on her flesh, things I had never noticed as a human, and now would only ever feel by proxy.

I wasn't sure how long I was waiting before I noticed that my dryad could finally see clearly, she was staring at a small seed surrounded by a burning ash filled wasteland. The seed had already shot out a few roots and was slowly growing its stem, two small leaves having already sprouted, despite all of the signs of destruction around, it was unharmed and the sign was shining on it, an inspiring sight of life's ability to persevere no matter what, my ability to persevere no matter what.
Not to mention my knowledge of plant biology tells me that being surrounded by all this ash would give me an amazing source of nutrients, especially if you could have your dryad make sure to kill any other plant life around, and give them to use as fertilizer, I'm not sure what reduced the area around me into such a flat plain of ash but I wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

At some point of my time being a plant I discovered I could sort of fall asleep, it wasn't quite like falling asleep more like losing track of time and not realizing days had passed at once. Honestly convenient although I wonder how many times I stopped paying attention just for days to pass, now normally I don't mind not paying attention my dryad would keep doing whatever I had told them to do which mostly consisted of getting rid of any grass or weeds that tried to grow near me but something had gotten my attention.
Another screen popped up into my vision, but this time it was glowing golden, and somehow filled me with a sense of awe. It was like the animation that played when you got a six star event gotcha character, this was something rare, something special.

[Memories of Earth] wasn't that useful of a skill, all it did was remind me of life when I was a human. Besides using it to perhaps mentally replay episodes of an anime I liked, I didn't see much reason to even use it, there was nothing in my past worth viewing and it seemed to take up vital skill slots, which were clearly limited, it wasn't even something like eidetic memory which would be useful to have it was specific to only memories that came from when I was human not all the time I was alive.

Worse yet it was an active skill, I'd have to actively work to just dredge up memories of earth it was useless, I didn't have anything worth salvaging from when I was alive maybe if I was a botanist with knowledge of plants or an engineer that could pull a convincing doctor stone impression but- I couldn't use it for that could I? A flash of brilliance came upon me and I tried to see if it was possible to use the skill to get memories that weren't mine, I never did watch the season finale of that show, focusing for a moment I felt myself slowly growing blind to the world, like I was hibernating without the loss of focus slowly an image came to my mind a muddled and confusing image that was taking a while to correct it small details and colors shifting until I finally recognized the sight for what it was, a movie theater playing the beginning of an anime movie that would of course be non canon, I dropped the skill everything else coming to focus immediately in contrast to the slow dream like scenery shift of me actually using the skill, left me a little disoriented worse then the first time I used it, from what I could tell memories that weren't mine were harder to see but it was possible to see them and that would be Incredibly useful, it'd be like having an even better if less convenient version of Wikipedia.

And that's the prologue stuff after this you'll get a result on that wish and actual action options in what will probably be a smaller quick update, now then to know what some of your options did, Hero shard is a sort of jack of all trades master of none that allows you to make minor wishes but you need to recharge it for a long time to use it again. tree bark and poison would have made you stupidly durable and toxic respectively and grant extra active abilities, fruits would let you make some very useful consumables, getting to the likes of devil fruits later.
Fused did what it says on the tin and made your ant instincts a part of you, which makes it so you do some things because they make sense intuitively your dryad will pick the weeds around you and use them as fertilizer because that makes sense, it also sort of gives you a bit of a buff against trauma since your minds a bit leafy. Overwhelmed would have destroyed the plant instinct leaving you without any of it's intuition but none of it's more harmful instincts, "Coexist" would lessen the instincts to be a bit of advice here and there but minimal plants cross over, and displaced would have completely separated you and the plant instincts would have the slight risk of you having to fight off attempts at mental domination if you did something it's didn't like hit could have let you pull two souls one body nonsense and give you a few free actions.
The excited option made you a bit of a Chunni, someone who would react to floating text boxes and immediately go 'i'm the protagonist of an isekai', it has the subtle benefit of making you well adapted for the more mystical things and a sort of natural intuition for skills, but a bit worse at everything else, curiosity would have made you very intelligent with a higher level of wit but you'd have the problem of still thinking more humanly In a bad way, while worry would have made you be more of a straight man less adapted for this world but able to call strange shit out better.
Now then if anyone has any advice or suggestions I'd like them, a suggestions for better ways to make status messages would be welcomed if it can make them look better

The immediate avoidance of the weeb options amuses me, even if it does not particularly suprise me.
I will say this, the ones I've offered are not infact trap options,at worse you'd get a case of not what I wanted but close to it and it won't actively curve to fuck you over.
