A/N: Okay, so, this is a one-shot that I decided to crosspost from Fanfiction to Spacebattles, after a heck ton of editing. And, just to make sure people are clarified on why Katsuragi Keima entered the Holy grail War, it's because he thought it was all a game at first. The story would also have some of the Fate Extra game mechanics put in there. Hope you enjoy. (This story is an a AU where Katsuragi Keima entered the HGW and summoned Caster, while Hakuno Kishinami summoned Saber.) This is a scene that takes place in the Final round of the HGW.
In addition to that, the reason for why there are lot's of time skips in my fic is because I rather not write out the whole scenes, that is shown in Fate Extra. They are way too long. Now without further ado...It's time to start the Story!

*Final Round of the holy grail tournament*
Hakuno Kishinami and Katsuragi Keima was seen staring solemnly at each other, alongside their servants, Saber and Caster, as the elevator descended to the battlefield. After a couple moments of uncomfortable silence, Hakuno Kishinami was the first to speak.
"Katsuragi-san, I don't really want to kill you, you know...I wasn't even expecting for this to happen." said Hakuno Kishinami.
Katsuragi Keima replied back.
"I don't want to kill you either, but we have to,this is a fight to the death tournament that chooses it's matches randomly, after all. And only one victor can come out as the winner. So you should have expected matches like these."
"I know, but... you're the first person I befriended. I can't remember anything else, and you were the first person to help me out in the holy grail tournament, when I was confused and didn't know what to do. You were the person who helped me get this far." said Hakuno Kishinami.
Katsuragi Keima sighed.
"Kishinami-san, I know why you're hesitating to fight me, but remember, you have to fight, and kill me. Remember what I said, before the match was to start, two days ago?"
"Yes, you said that I have to strike you down, and show no mercy...and also, it's because I am the protagonist of this story." said Hakuno Kishinami
"Indeed, that was what I said." said Katsuragi Keima
"..." said Hakuno Kishinami.
"Then why are you showing hesitance?" said Katsuragi Keima.
Hakuno Kishinami replied, after thinking of answer.
"I just still have doubts about doing this...isn't there some other way to not kill you? It just doesn't feel right to kill you after everything we have been through..."
"Kishinami-san, you have to do this, regardless of what we have experienced. Each and every one of our opponents had a dream and goal to fulfill when we entered the holy grail tournament. I had one too."
"Remember what Dan Blackmore said, when he fought you?"
"Yeah. I do. He said that having a reason to fight isn't the same as truly believing in the reason. "
"I had a reason to fight for my beliefs, and a reason to help you. You're the protagonist of the story, after all. I have no wish for the holy grail. But I had a reason to fight. My reason to fight is to help you reach the good ending of this story! I am also willing to die, for said goal!"
"So that's the reason of why, Kishinami-san, that you have to kill me. Don't be discouraged by the fact that you are going to kill me, though. I made up my mind to die for my goal long before I met you!"
"I used to have a wish that I wanted to fulfill with the holy grail...but after seeing you,however, I changed my mind. My wish before was to escape this place, and be with my servant outside."
"One final question before we fight."
"Will you show no mercy/hesitation to me in battle, Kishinami-san?
*My initial goal before all this happened was to have fun in this tournament, since I thought it would be fun to do, due to the fact that I could actually summon legendary souls to fight each other, and because of the fact that it was in a digitized environment, in a computer, I thought it was perfect game to play in... But after being informed of this being an actual death match of magi versus magi by Dan Blackmoore...*
*Flashback Starts*
"What?!This is an actual death match? You got to be joking around on this! You got to be!" said Katsuragi Keima
"I am afraid that I am not joking around, Katsuragi-san. This is an actual death tournament between magi and magi." said Dan Blackmoore
After realizing that it was an actual, permanent death tournament, Katsuragi Keima started to panic.
"Oh no...no,no,no,no,no...Just what have I gotten myself into...?"
"You got to be kidding me...Dammit! I still have many important things I need to do! Blackmoore-san! Is there any way at all to get out of here? I have to get out!"
"I am really sorry young man...but there is no way to get out of the tournament after you have entered it. Or, did you enter this tournament in thinking this was all a game at first?" said Dan Blackmoore.
"I suppose I did enter this tournament thinking that this was just a game..."
"Ugh...Blackmoore-san, may I have some time to myself to sort things through?"
"You may, Katsuragi-san, I will leave to you it."
"Let's go, archer."
"Sure thing, old man, let me just speak to Caster's master first."
"You may, archer."
Archer turned to speak to Katsuragi Keima.
"Sheesh! It seems you actually thought this was all a game at first, didn't you, Katsuragi? Since I feel a bit bad for you, I suppose I could give you some tips on surviving this death tournament. One: don't reveal crucial information on your servant. Two: Don't talk to anyone that you might feel that is untrustworthy, and the third, and final tip is to make sure, when you are discussing crucial information with your servant, or if you find someone that you can actually trust, is that that no one is around to hear it. Well, there you go, kid, those are my few tips to help you with your survival."
He finished speaking.
"Alright, master, I am done. Let's go already!"
"Very well. Let's go. One more thing,Katsuragi-san,if you were to follow, and remember those rules that my servant told you, you will do well in this tournament. Good luck, and farewell, Katsuragi-san."
Dan Blackmoore and his servant was seen walking off the rooftop.
Katsuragi Keima sighed.
"Ugh..This is way too cliche..."
"Oh well. I suppose I would do my best in surviving, then..."
After a few uncomfortable moments, Caster finally chosen to speak.
"Goooshuujin-sama! Did you actually think this was all a game?! Jeeeez! Do you finally believe I am real now? I really hope you do, master!You treated me so well, even if you didn't believe that I am real!"
"Ugh..yes, I now believe that you are real, Caster."
Katsuragi Keima sighed to himself.
"Caster, I have a family out there you know, and a little sister, too. I don't want them to be heartbroken when they hear I am actually dead...I also have very important things to do, too."
"Important things, Goshujin-sama? Can you please tell me? Please? I would like to know it, Goshujin-sama!"
"Ack..."
He scratched his head.
"It's a bit embarrassing, Caster, I don't really feel comfortable sharing it."
"Mou! Don't be so shy about it! I am a supernatural entity after all, so it's totally okay! You were probably doing something supernatural, anyways! I won't tell! I promise that, Goshujin-sama!"
He took some time to think about her proposal.
*Since she is a supernatural entity, I suppose it would okay..."
"Very well, Caster. Since you are a supernatural entity, and that I am your master, I suppose it would be okay to tell you on what I have been doing outside of this virtual environment, and what happened after you died..."
Caster became excited. She never heard him talk on what his life was like, and how society improved on the outside! She listened intently.
"Well, you see, before I was doing all this supernatural business, I was attending a place called Maijima Private High school."
Caster had a question mark on her head.
"High school, Goshujin-sama? What's that?"
"It's a place for learning, Caster."
"Oh."
"I was not liked there, at all. You could say, that I was very unpopular."
"EEEEEH?! How come? You were so cool before! I would have figured that you be super popular, Goshujin-sama!"
Katsuragi Keima muttered something quietly.
"Well, I suppose the reason I was not popular there was because I had a certain obsession with video games, Caster."
"Caster, before you ask what video games are, video games are something you could entertain yourself with."
"Oh, okay, Goshujin-sama."
"Because I was obsessed with it so much, people were calling me the Otamegane."
"People wont associate/talk with me due to my reputation, and because of my reputation, I was treated badly there."
Caster was seen sniffling, and after pondering on what she would say, she decided to do it. Her decision was made final. She pounced on Katsuragi Keima, and glomped him.
Katsuragi Keima was seen, struggling, because of Caster pouncing on him. She won't let go.
"Goshujin-sama! I will protect you and beat those people up on what they did to you once we win the holy grail! After winning the holy grail, and you making the wish for me to go with you outside, I am going to be your wife!
"Gah! Get off of me, Caster! Also, if I were to make that wish, I wouldn't want you to beat people up in my high school! My reputation would be further ruined!. Please get off me. And besides, I don't like being touched."
Caster pouted.
"Mouuu! Fine!"
Katsuragi Keima breathed a sigh of relief.
"Finally! Moving on, I excelled at video games, but the subject I was most interested in, however,were dating sims. I also excelled at many other types of games, including horror games, and RPG games."
"Because of my skill in dating sims, a supernatural side to what's called New Hell contacted me because of it."
"They contacted me, and gave me an email while I was playing my PSP, requiring me to capture entities that are called runaway souls. The souls, if they were to take possession of the girl in question;Well... the consequences would not be good."
"So you were some kind of Omnoyoji, master?"
"I suppose so, in a way."
"You see, the way that was required to seal those runaway spirits was to, well..."
"It's alright, master! Go on! I am listening!"
Katsuragi Keima said it quickly, in an embarrassed tone of voice.
"The requirement to seal the runaway spirits was to make the girl fall in love with me."
After some moments of silence, Caster suddenly shouted out something to Katsuragi Keima, and lunged at him.
"Eurk!"
"GOOOSHUJIIN-SAMA!PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME AND FORGET ME AFTER THE WAR! I AM NOW YOUR WIFE! PLEASE REMEMBER THAT!"
"I wont forget and leave you, Caster, I promise that! Please don't cry. I promise, that after all of that is over, I will be only with you, got it? You're the only one for me! After all, the supernatural force I am working for will erase the memories of those girls that I have conquered once I am done with them!" said Katsuragi Keima, in a panicked tone.
Caster wiped away her tears and stopped crying. She started smiling happily.
"Yay! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Katsuragi Keima smiled awkwardly. *I am so glad I got that over with...*
"No need to thank me, Caster."
Katsuragi Keima then became serious.
"Now that we are done talking, we must do well and win, in this tournament. Caster! I am counting on you!"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama! I wont fail you! I promise!" said Caster.
*Flashback ends*
Katsuragi Keima smiled at the memory.
After awhile, Hakuno Kishinami finallly finished pondering on his answer.
"Katsuragi-san...Thank you. I have made up my mind. I will show you no mercy in our final match!" said Hakuno Kishinami.
Katsuragi Keima smirked.
"So you finally got it, huh?"
The elevator arrived at the battlefield.
"Hmmm, it seems like we have arrived."
"Caster!" said Katsuragi Keima
"Yes, Goshujin-sama?"
"Let us show our foe our true strength, Tamamo! This is our final battle!
"Hai, Goshujin-sama!"
Hakuno Kishinami replied back in kind.
"Saber! Let's show him no mercy! Let's win this holy grail war!"
"Agreed, Praetor. Katsuragi-san, thank you for everything you have done for my master."
"Indeed, now, enough talk! Let us test your strength, and see how it fares against mine! Me, versus you. My genius, against your intellect! Show no hesitation, Kishinami! This is a battle of wits and strength! Showing any hesitation, will be your downfall! Now, let us start the battle! Winner takes all! Including the holy grail!"

*The Fight starts*
*100% health*
"Let us show you what we can do. This is your final battle, Kishinami...Don't blow it." The camera angle then pans to Saber and Hakuno Kishinami. "Praetor! We shall not fall here! Let's show them what we can do as master and servant!".
"Heh... Let's see you try, Saber. If you and your master can survive long enough, perhaps I can show you my true power..."
*50% Health*
"Interesting...so you may have some merit to your claim of ability after all..."
"I suppose I can indulge you in showing you my power..."
"Alright, Caster, let's show them what we planned to show them since they survived, shall we?"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama!"
"Kishinami...prepare yourself."
He seen proceeds to increase Caster's strength and magical power.
*After 2 turns*
"Alright, Let's see if they can survive this! Caster! Use your Noble Phantasm!"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama!"
Caster then proceeds to use her noble phantasm(Blessing's of Amaterasu).
"Now that she used it...let me show you something interesting,Kishinami-san."
"You see, when I found out that I was stuck in this tournament, with no way to get out, I panicked. I panicked alot, and blamed the real for getting me into this mess. But after managing to calm myself down, I proceeded to think on how to survive this tournament."
"After awhile of thinking on how to survive, I managed to figure out a plan."
"I would hack into the moon-cell, to see if there are some vulnerabilities in the Grail's code as to increase my chance of survival. After all, any type of code can be hacked. You just need to be smart enough to recognize the vulnerabilities."
Katsuragi Keima shrugged.
"What? You think the moon-cell can't be hacked? Well, you thought wrong!", "And besides, the real trapping me here caused me to do this. I was desperate, at that time."
"Later, I proceeded with my plan. And when I hacked into the moon-cell..."
"I actually found some vulnerabilities! With this code-cast that I am about to cast, that I personally made from those vulnerabilities, this would make the type of damage the same as a servant's noble phantasm! But sadly, I can only manage to do it only once, after Caster activated her Noble Phantasm. But this should be enough."
"Let's see if you survive this!"
He then proceeds to cast the code-cast.
"Hahahahahahaha! This is the result of my genius intellect! Take this! This is a code-cast that I personally call, The Lightning God's Lament!"
He then uses the code cast.
A massive beam of electric energy came out from his hands. He then he shoot's it towards the master and servant Saber. Saber then takes the damage brought upon Katsuragi's code-cast. (Saber takes 8999 damage. Saber only has 300 health left.)
Saber survives.
*Near 15% health*
"So you managed to survive my code cast, and somehow managed to send us to almost the brink of defeat..."
"...It seems I was right about you from the beginning. You are the one."
"However! I won't give up so easily!"
"Caster! Our opponents are truly worthy foes! "
"Let's use all our strength, and intellect, to see if our foes would still prevail in the end!"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama!"
"I wont fail my Goshujin-sama!He's very dear to me, and I made a promise to him that we will survive!"
"I will do my best for my Goshujin-sama! We will win the Holy Grail War!"
*Near 1% Health*
"...Impressive, Kishinami-san..."
"..."
"What is this strange feeling?"
"Is this the feeling of impending defeat...?"
"But for some reason...I feel no despair at the thought of losing, or dying at all..."
"How curious..."
*At 0% Health*
"I am going to stake everything in this final blow!" "This is the end! Aestus Domus Aurea!" said Saber. ( She activates her noble phantasm).
Her strike finally managed to hit Katsuragi Keima, causing major damage to himself.
"ARGH!"
"Goshujin-Sama!" said Caster.
Katsuragi Keima flew 3 feet into the air, and fell down to the ground. After struggling to get up for around 13 minutes, his legs finally gave out.
"Urgh…It seems...like you… win… Kishinami-san…" said Katsuragi Keima
Both Caster and Katsuragi Keima started to fade.
Hakuno Kishinami and Saber stared solemnly at Katsuragi Keima and Caster.
" I suppose losing this battle was expected..."
"But I understand now, on why I lost..."
*You are the protagonist, after all, Hakuno Kishinami. It was already decided that you would win this battle…*
"But then again, losing in something other than games..."
"It was a fresh experience. And for that, Kishinami-san, I thank you for enabling me to be able to experience that."
"And besides, entering this Holy Grail War.."
"..Entering this war helped me realize that the REAL is enjoyable after all. "
" In addition to that, entering this war also helped me meet Tamamo-chan."
He smiled.
"Me meeting Tamamo..."
"It was a great blessing."
"Because of her, I eventually managed to realize that REAL girls are as good as 2D girls."
Katsuragi Keima starts to notice that he's in the process of almost being deleted.
"Oh? It seems like I am about to be deleted..."
"Hmmm..."
"I suppose should make some final statements while I am at it."
He says his final words.
"Well, Kishinami-san, I suppose this is goodbye…"
"...It was a pleasure meeting you."
He took a couple shuddering breaths.
"Tamamo…"
"Goshujin- sama… I am so sorry…" said Caster.
"It is alright, Tamamo…We tried our best."
He paused for a moment, and then, began to speak.
" Tamamo...thank you. For everything…"
"... If I manage to become a heroic spirit, I hope I can meet you again someday…"
Caster began to cry.
"Now, now, enough crying. Please don't become so emotional over my death. I want to pass away with no regrets. You will do that for me, will you?" said Katsuragi Keima.
Caster stopped crying.
"Hai, Goshujin-sama! This is the most I can do for you,after all, master!
Katsuragi Keima smiled.
"Thank you."
He faced Hakuno Kishinami and his servant.
"It seems like you managed to defeat me. Now, go forth, and take the holy grail. You are the victor of this tournament, after all."
" I hope that you will choose your wish wisely."
"May we meet again, someday, Kishinami-san…Saber..."
*And maybe, just maybe, my death may finally propel to help him reach towards his good ending...*
Katsuragi Keima was then heard, muttering some last words to himself.
"Elsie...It seems I was not able to keep our promise..."
"Sorry..."
He put his arms behind his neck.
"*Sigh*It would have been nice if I had managed to live just a bit longer..."
"Oh well. What's done is done."
Finally, Katsuragi Keima and Caster faded away completely.
...
Later, Nero and Hakuno Kishinami was seen walking towards the elevator, in silence. It's here, where Rin Tohsaka waited for him to decide on whether they should go down the elevator to get the holy grail.
"Well, let's go. We have come this far, let's see it through the end." said Rin.
"Yeah, let's go."
He opens the last door, and goes inside the elevator with Rin. The elevator descended downwards, into unknown territory...
At long last, the elevator finally reached it's destination.
They walk out to see red neon lights on the floor, with pitch black all around them, along with seeing a greenish-blue light in the front.
After seeing how far their destination is, Saber spoke.
"It seems as if it's going to take a long time to reach the end...let's take the time to talk between us on how you improved as a master."
*Saber and her master takes the time to chat about how he performed as a master in the holy grail war*
They finally reach the greenish-blue light, and gets transported inside. When they came to, they find themselves in a place surrounded by green water, and fallen pillars.
They take the time to marvel at the site, and the holy grail, but finds a man in a white cloak sitting on top of the fallen pillars.
The mystery man speaks.
"Hey, Hakuno Kishinami. I've been waiting for you. Congratulations, by the way. You won the holy grail war."
*Skips to the part where he introduces himself*
"First, allow me to introduce myself, My name is Twice H. Pieceman, but please, just call me Twice."
*Skips to beginning of battle*
"I have been bestowed this power not only to protect one person, but to preserve the whole." said Twice.
"Look upon my works and despair, Servant. For here comes my salvation, straight from Moon cell's records!"
"Come, legendary soul of salvation! The answer to all, the sole entity to escape the agony of existence!"
Twice summons forth a green haired man with red robes, that is clasping his hand together.
Once Saber recognizes that the soul is Buddha himself, her confidence waned.
"...Another calamity arises. This legendary soul may be too much for one such as I, who knows only anguish..."
Hakuno Kishinami chosen this moment to speak.
"Saber! Remember what we're fighting for! Everyone's counting on us to win! Many people, such as Katsuragi Keima, and Dan Blackmoore, told us on what their goals and wishes are when they decided to fight in the holy grail war. Because of them, it helped get this far, and helped me change from how I was back then to now..."
"So please, Saber. Don't even think about giving up! let's overcome the impossible together! Please don't throw everything away just because the Servant is an actual god!"
After hearing her master's words, she felt strengthened, and energized.
She smiled.
"My master has grown into a fine praetor..."
"Thank you, master. Your words re- encouraged my will to fight. So, as you have said before..."
"Let's overcome these odds together! Prepare yourself, Ruler!"
"HAAAAAAAHHHH!"
She lifts her sword, and charges at the servant blocking the way to the holy grail.
*Final battle begins*
...
*After the battle*
"But I have no regrets. Just as life is an endless cycle, war too will endure. You are proof of that." said Twice.
After saying his piece, he starts to fade. He's then seen, walking past Hakuno Kishinami and Rin.
*They now discuss on what could have happened if things taken a turn for the worst*
...
"But things could've ended worse. I probably would have lost to Twice, not due to lack of skill, but of heart." said Rin.
"That's why I am glad you're the one who made it to the end. I want you to know that I truly mean that."
After Rin said what she wanted to say, Hakuno Kishinami slowly starts to walk towards the holy grail.
Once he reaches the holy grail, he slowly extends his hand and touches the core of the moon cell.
Immediately, after he touches it, he's seen, floating in water.
*He then discusses with himself on Twice's beliefs.*
...
*Once he notices Saber, that's when she speaks*
"This is your final duty as a Master, correct? Then it is only natural that I am present at this time." said Saber.
"Especially since it seems as if this is a time when you are in need of my strength."
"So that's what she's doing. With the additional presence, the time the moon cell needs to finish the elimination process is increased."
"As is her way, she has come to aid her worthless master one final time."
"-? This...appears to be you. What does 'cyrogenic storage' mean?"
*Hakuno Kishinami receives information on who he is*
...
Since he is going to be deleted by the moon cell soon, He then decides to give Rin Tohsaka information on where, and what he truly is. He also gives information on where Katsuragi Keima's family is, in order to inform them of his death.
"...Fair enough. I dislike being the loser, and now that you exist on the outside, I'll track you down." said Rin.
...
"And if I can manage it at all, I want our reunion to be on a rooftop, somewhere with a beautiful view."
"Until then-please wait for me. I will come and find you. I promise."
"Now...the first task for me to complete is to inform of the family of Katsuragi Keima that he died."
"Ugh...That is not going to be fun..."
She takes time to read information that's been given to her on Katsuragi Keima.
"Eh?! This guy is related to new hell? Well, at least that clears up all of my suspicions on him..."
"Maybe it should be best to contact them and his employer on the circumstances right now..."
"Alright...it's time to go."
She is then seen, walking, towards whatever her destination is.
*The credits play*
"I am not sure I understand, but do you mean that you have an existence outside of this world?" said Saber.
"And you do have my permission to visit me occasionally. Actually, come anytime you wish!"
"I be happy to see you again. it makes me happy to know that our relationship won't be ending soon."
*Hakuno Kishinami then debates on how it's his responsibility to have as strong relationship with his servant*
Extra Scene
...
Katsuragi Keima was seen, watching the events recorded, in the holy grail, alongside Tamamo.
"...So another person was in the grail? How unexpected..."
"And he then decides to attack the winner?"
Katsuragi Keima sighs.
"This is just like what you see in those classical RPG games..."
He hears a faint chant.
"Oh? It seems like we are being summoned to fight in another holy grail war..."
"Alright, Tamamo. Let's answer our summons, shall we?"
"Ah yes. That reminds me of something I want to ask of you,Tamamo."
"Let's meet up again later, after our Holy Grail Wars are over, okay?"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama! I can't wait for it!" said Tamamo no mae, with a beaming smile.
"Heh. That's good to know." said Katsuragi Keima
Before Caster and the man gets summoned,to be fought in another holy grail war, he was heard, saying some words out loud.
"Hakuno Kishinami, huh?"
"What an interesting protagonist..."
*He is someone I should definitely keep my tabs on.*

"Kishinami-san, I know why you're hesitating to fight me, but remember, you have to fight, and kill me. Remember what I said, before the match was to start, two days ago?"
"Yes, you said that I have to strike you down, and show no mercy...and also, it's because I am the protagonist of this story." said Hakuno Kishinami
"Indeed, that was what I said." said Katsuragi Keima
"..." said Hakuno Kishinami.
"Then why are you showing hesitance?" said Katsuragi Keima.
Hakuno Kishinami replied, after thinking of answer.
"I just still have doubts about doing this...isn't there some other way to not kill you? It just doesn't feel right to kill you after everything we have been through..."
"Kishinami-san, you have to do this, regardless of what we have experienced. Each and every one of our opponents had a dream and goal to fulfill when we entered the holy grail tournament. I had one too."
"Remember what Dan Blackmore said, when he fought you?"
"Yeah. I do. He said that having a reason to fight isn't the same as truly believing in the reason. "
"I had a reason to fight for my beliefs, and a reason to help you. You're the protagonist of the story, after all. I have no wish for the holy grail. But I had a reason to fight. My reason to fight is to help you reach the good ending of this story! I am also willing to die, for said goal!"
"So that's the reason of why, Kishinami-san, that you have to kill me. Don't be discouraged by the fact that you are going to kill me, though. I made up my mind to die for my goal long before I met you!"
"I used to have a wish that I wanted to fulfill with the holy grail...but after seeing you,however, I changed my mind. My wish before was to escape this place, and be with my servant outside."
"One final question before we fight."
"Will you show no mercy/hesitation to me in battle, Kishinami-san?
*My initial goal before all this happened was to have fun in this tournament, since I thought it would be fun to do, due to the fact that I could actually summon legendary souls to fight each other, and because of the fact that it was in a digitized environment, in a computer, I thought it was perfect game to play in... But after being informed of this being an actual death match of magi versus magi by Dan Blackmoore...*
*Flashback Starts*
"What?!This is an actual death match? You got to be joking around on this! You got to be!" said Katsuragi Keima
"I am afraid that I am not joking around, Katsuragi-san. This is an actual death tournament between magi and magi." said Dan Blackmoore
After realizing that it was an actual, permanent death tournament, Katsuragi Keima started to panic.
"Oh no...no,no,no,no,no...Just what have I gotten myself into...?"
"You got to be kidding me...Dammit! I still have many important things I need to do! Blackmoore-san! Is there any way at all to get out of here? I have to get out!"
"I am really sorry young man...but there is no way to get out of the tournament after you have entered it. Or, did you enter this tournament in thinking this was all a game at first?" said Dan Blackmoore.
"I suppose I did enter this tournament thinking that this was just a game..."
"Ugh...Blackmoore-san, may I have some time to myself to sort things through?"
"You may, Katsuragi-san, I will leave to you it."
"Let's go, archer."
"Sure thing, old man, let me just speak to Caster's master first."
"You may, archer."
Archer turned to speak to Katsuragi Keima.
"Sheesh! It seems you actually thought this was all a game at first, didn't you, Katsuragi? Since I feel a bit bad for you, I suppose I could give you some tips on surviving this death tournament. One: don't reveal crucial information on your servant. Two: Don't talk to anyone that you might feel that is untrustworthy, and the third, and final tip is to make sure, when you are discussing crucial information with your servant, or if you find someone that you can actually trust, is that that no one is around to hear it. Well, there you go, kid, those are my few tips to help you with your survival."
He finished speaking.
"Alright, master, I am done. Let's go already!"
"Very well. Let's go. One more thing,Katsuragi-san,if you were to follow, and remember those rules that my servant told you, you will do well in this tournament. Good luck, and farewell, Katsuragi-san."
Dan Blackmoore and his servant was seen walking off the rooftop.
Katsuragi Keima sighed.
"Ugh..This is way too cliche..."
"Oh well. I suppose I would do my best in surviving, then..."
After a few uncomfortable moments, Caster finally chosen to speak.
"Goooshuujin-sama! Did you actually think this was all a game?! Jeeeez! Do you finally believe I am real now? I really hope you do, master!You treated me so well, even if you didn't believe that I am real!"
"Ugh..yes, I now believe that you are real, Caster."
Katsuragi Keima sighed to himself.
"Caster, I have a family out there you know, and a little sister, too. I don't want them to be heartbroken when they hear I am actually dead...I also have very important things to do, too."
"Important things, Goshujin-sama? Can you please tell me? Please? I would like to know it, Goshujin-sama!"
"Ack..."
He scratched his head.
"It's a bit embarrassing, Caster, I don't really feel comfortable sharing it."
"Mou! Don't be so shy about it! I am a supernatural entity after all, so it's totally okay! You were probably doing something supernatural, anyways! I won't tell! I promise that, Goshujin-sama!"
He took some time to think about her proposal.
*Since she is a supernatural entity, I suppose it would okay..."
"Very well, Caster. Since you are a supernatural entity, and that I am your master, I suppose it would be okay to tell you on what I have been doing outside of this virtual environment, and what happened after you died..."
Caster became excited. She never heard him talk on what his life was like, and how society improved on the outside! She listened intently.
"Well, you see, before I was doing all this supernatural business, I was attending a place called Maijima Private High school."
Caster had a question mark on her head.
"High school, Goshujin-sama? What's that?"
"It's a place for learning, Caster."
"Oh."
"I was not liked there, at all. You could say, that I was very unpopular."
"EEEEEH?! How come? You were so cool before! I would have figured that you be super popular, Goshujin-sama!"
Katsuragi Keima muttered something quietly.
"Well, I suppose the reason I was not popular there was because I had a certain obsession with video games, Caster."
"Caster, before you ask what video games are, video games are something you could entertain yourself with."
"Oh, okay, Goshujin-sama."
"Because I was obsessed with it so much, people were calling me the Otamegane."
"People wont associate/talk with me due to my reputation, and because of my reputation, I was treated badly there."
Caster was seen sniffling, and after pondering on what she would say, she decided to do it. Her decision was made final. She pounced on Katsuragi Keima, and glomped him.
Katsuragi Keima was seen, struggling, because of Caster pouncing on him. She won't let go.
"Goshujin-sama! I will protect you and beat those people up on what they did to you once we win the holy grail! After winning the holy grail, and you making the wish for me to go with you outside, I am going to be your wife!
"Gah! Get off of me, Caster! Also, if I were to make that wish, I wouldn't want you to beat people up in my high school! My reputation would be further ruined!. Please get off me. And besides, I don't like being touched."
Caster pouted.
"Mouuu! Fine!"
Katsuragi Keima breathed a sigh of relief.
"Finally! Moving on, I excelled at video games, but the subject I was most interested in, however,were dating sims. I also excelled at many other types of games, including horror games, and RPG games."
"Because of my skill in dating sims, a supernatural side to what's called New Hell contacted me because of it."
"They contacted me, and gave me an email while I was playing my PSP, requiring me to capture entities that are called runaway souls. The souls, if they were to take possession of the girl in question;Well... the consequences would not be good."
"So you were some kind of Omnoyoji, master?"
"I suppose so, in a way."
"You see, the way that was required to seal those runaway spirits was to, well..."
"It's alright, master! Go on! I am listening!"
Katsuragi Keima said it quickly, in an embarrassed tone of voice.
"The requirement to seal the runaway spirits was to make the girl fall in love with me."
After some moments of silence, Caster suddenly shouted out something to Katsuragi Keima, and lunged at him.
"Eurk!"
"GOOOSHUJIIN-SAMA!PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME AND FORGET ME AFTER THE WAR! I AM NOW YOUR WIFE! PLEASE REMEMBER THAT!"
"I wont forget and leave you, Caster, I promise that! Please don't cry. I promise, that after all of that is over, I will be only with you, got it? You're the only one for me! After all, the supernatural force I am working for will erase the memories of those girls that I have conquered once I am done with them!" said Katsuragi Keima, in a panicked tone.
Caster wiped away her tears and stopped crying. She started smiling happily.
"Yay! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Katsuragi Keima smiled awkwardly. *I am so glad I got that over with...*
"No need to thank me, Caster."
Katsuragi Keima then became serious.
"Now that we are done talking, we must do well and win, in this tournament. Caster! I am counting on you!"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama! I wont fail you! I promise!" said Caster.
*Flashback ends*
Katsuragi Keima smiled at the memory.
After awhile, Hakuno Kishinami finallly finished pondering on his answer.
"Katsuragi-san...Thank you. I have made up my mind. I will show you no mercy in our final match!" said Hakuno Kishinami.
Katsuragi Keima smirked.
"So you finally got it, huh?"
The elevator arrived at the battlefield.
"Hmmm, it seems like we have arrived."
"Caster!" said Katsuragi Keima
"Yes, Goshujin-sama?"
"Let us show our foe our true strength, Tamamo! This is our final battle!
"Hai, Goshujin-sama!"
Hakuno Kishinami replied back in kind.
"Saber! Let's show him no mercy! Let's win this holy grail war!"
"Agreed, Praetor. Katsuragi-san, thank you for everything you have done for my master."
"Indeed, now, enough talk! Let us test your strength, and see how it fares against mine! Me, versus you. My genius, against your intellect! Show no hesitation, Kishinami! This is a battle of wits and strength! Showing any hesitation, will be your downfall! Now, let us start the battle! Winner takes all! Including the holy grail!"

"Let us show you what we can do. This is your final battle, Kishinami...Don't blow it." The camera angle then pans to Saber and Hakuno Kishinami. "Praetor! We shall not fall here! Let's show them what we can do as master and servant!".
"Heh... Let's see you try, Saber. If you and your master can survive long enough, perhaps I can show you my true power..."
*50% Health*
"Interesting...so you may have some merit to your claim of ability after all..."
"I suppose I can indulge you in showing you my power..."
"Alright, Caster, let's show them what we planned to show them since they survived, shall we?"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama!"
"Kishinami...prepare yourself."
He seen proceeds to increase Caster's strength and magical power.
*After 2 turns*
"Alright, Let's see if they can survive this! Caster! Use your Noble Phantasm!"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama!"
Caster then proceeds to use her noble phantasm(Blessing's of Amaterasu).
"Now that she used it...let me show you something interesting,Kishinami-san."
"You see, when I found out that I was stuck in this tournament, with no way to get out, I panicked. I panicked alot, and blamed the real for getting me into this mess. But after managing to calm myself down, I proceeded to think on how to survive this tournament."
"After awhile of thinking on how to survive, I managed to figure out a plan."
"I would hack into the moon-cell, to see if there are some vulnerabilities in the Grail's code as to increase my chance of survival. After all, any type of code can be hacked. You just need to be smart enough to recognize the vulnerabilities."
Katsuragi Keima shrugged.
"What? You think the moon-cell can't be hacked? Well, you thought wrong!", "And besides, the real trapping me here caused me to do this. I was desperate, at that time."
"Later, I proceeded with my plan. And when I hacked into the moon-cell..."
"I actually found some vulnerabilities! With this code-cast that I am about to cast, that I personally made from those vulnerabilities, this would make the type of damage the same as a servant's noble phantasm! But sadly, I can only manage to do it only once, after Caster activated her Noble Phantasm. But this should be enough."
"Let's see if you survive this!"
He then proceeds to cast the code-cast.
"Hahahahahahaha! This is the result of my genius intellect! Take this! This is a code-cast that I personally call, The Lightning God's Lament!"
He then uses the code cast.
A massive beam of electric energy came out from his hands. He then he shoot's it towards the master and servant Saber. Saber then takes the damage brought upon Katsuragi's code-cast. (Saber takes 8999 damage. Saber only has 300 health left.)
Saber survives.
*Near 15% health*
"So you managed to survive my code cast, and somehow managed to send us to almost the brink of defeat..."
"...It seems I was right about you from the beginning. You are the one."
"However! I won't give up so easily!"
"Caster! Our opponents are truly worthy foes! "
"Let's use all our strength, and intellect, to see if our foes would still prevail in the end!"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama!"
"I wont fail my Goshujin-sama!He's very dear to me, and I made a promise to him that we will survive!"
"I will do my best for my Goshujin-sama! We will win the Holy Grail War!"
*Near 1% Health*
"...Impressive, Kishinami-san..."
"..."
"What is this strange feeling?"
"Is this the feeling of impending defeat...?"
"But for some reason...I feel no despair at the thought of losing, or dying at all..."
"How curious..."
*At 0% Health*
"I am going to stake everything in this final blow!" "This is the end! Aestus Domus Aurea!" said Saber. ( She activates her noble phantasm).
Her strike finally managed to hit Katsuragi Keima, causing major damage to himself.
"ARGH!"
"Goshujin-Sama!" said Caster.
Katsuragi Keima flew 3 feet into the air, and fell down to the ground. After struggling to get up for around 13 minutes, his legs finally gave out.
"Urgh…It seems...like you… win… Kishinami-san…" said Katsuragi Keima
Both Caster and Katsuragi Keima started to fade.
Hakuno Kishinami and Saber stared solemnly at Katsuragi Keima and Caster.
" I suppose losing this battle was expected..."
"But I understand now, on why I lost..."
*You are the protagonist, after all, Hakuno Kishinami. It was already decided that you would win this battle…*
"But then again, losing in something other than games..."
"It was a fresh experience. And for that, Kishinami-san, I thank you for enabling me to be able to experience that."
"And besides, entering this Holy Grail War.."
"..Entering this war helped me realize that the REAL is enjoyable after all. "
" In addition to that, entering this war also helped me meet Tamamo-chan."
He smiled.
"Me meeting Tamamo..."
"It was a great blessing."
"Because of her, I eventually managed to realize that REAL girls are as good as 2D girls."
Katsuragi Keima starts to notice that he's in the process of almost being deleted.
"Oh? It seems like I am about to be deleted..."
"Hmmm..."
"I suppose should make some final statements while I am at it."
He says his final words.
"Well, Kishinami-san, I suppose this is goodbye…"
"...It was a pleasure meeting you."
He took a couple shuddering breaths.
"Tamamo…"
"Goshujin- sama… I am so sorry…" said Caster.
"It is alright, Tamamo…We tried our best."
He paused for a moment, and then, began to speak.
" Tamamo...thank you. For everything…"
"... If I manage to become a heroic spirit, I hope I can meet you again someday…"
Caster began to cry.
"Now, now, enough crying. Please don't become so emotional over my death. I want to pass away with no regrets. You will do that for me, will you?" said Katsuragi Keima.
Caster stopped crying.
"Hai, Goshujin-sama! This is the most I can do for you,after all, master!
Katsuragi Keima smiled.
"Thank you."
He faced Hakuno Kishinami and his servant.
"It seems like you managed to defeat me. Now, go forth, and take the holy grail. You are the victor of this tournament, after all."
" I hope that you will choose your wish wisely."
"May we meet again, someday, Kishinami-san…Saber..."
*And maybe, just maybe, my death may finally propel to help him reach towards his good ending...*
Katsuragi Keima was then heard, muttering some last words to himself.
"Elsie...It seems I was not able to keep our promise..."
"Sorry..."
He put his arms behind his neck.
"*Sigh*It would have been nice if I had managed to live just a bit longer..."
"Oh well. What's done is done."
Finally, Katsuragi Keima and Caster faded away completely.
...
Later, Nero and Hakuno Kishinami was seen walking towards the elevator, in silence. It's here, where Rin Tohsaka waited for him to decide on whether they should go down the elevator to get the holy grail.
"Well, let's go. We have come this far, let's see it through the end." said Rin.
"Yeah, let's go."
He opens the last door, and goes inside the elevator with Rin. The elevator descended downwards, into unknown territory...
At long last, the elevator finally reached it's destination.
They walk out to see red neon lights on the floor, with pitch black all around them, along with seeing a greenish-blue light in the front.
After seeing how far their destination is, Saber spoke.
"It seems as if it's going to take a long time to reach the end...let's take the time to talk between us on how you improved as a master."
*Saber and her master takes the time to chat about how he performed as a master in the holy grail war*
They finally reach the greenish-blue light, and gets transported inside. When they came to, they find themselves in a place surrounded by green water, and fallen pillars.
They take the time to marvel at the site, and the holy grail, but finds a man in a white cloak sitting on top of the fallen pillars.
The mystery man speaks.
"Hey, Hakuno Kishinami. I've been waiting for you. Congratulations, by the way. You won the holy grail war."
*Skips to the part where he introduces himself*
"First, allow me to introduce myself, My name is Twice H. Pieceman, but please, just call me Twice."
*Skips to beginning of battle*
"I have been bestowed this power not only to protect one person, but to preserve the whole." said Twice.
"Look upon my works and despair, Servant. For here comes my salvation, straight from Moon cell's records!"
"Come, legendary soul of salvation! The answer to all, the sole entity to escape the agony of existence!"
Twice summons forth a green haired man with red robes, that is clasping his hand together.
Once Saber recognizes that the soul is Buddha himself, her confidence waned.
"...Another calamity arises. This legendary soul may be too much for one such as I, who knows only anguish..."
Hakuno Kishinami chosen this moment to speak.
"Saber! Remember what we're fighting for! Everyone's counting on us to win! Many people, such as Katsuragi Keima, and Dan Blackmoore, told us on what their goals and wishes are when they decided to fight in the holy grail war. Because of them, it helped get this far, and helped me change from how I was back then to now..."
"So please, Saber. Don't even think about giving up! let's overcome the impossible together! Please don't throw everything away just because the Servant is an actual god!"
After hearing her master's words, she felt strengthened, and energized.
She smiled.
"My master has grown into a fine praetor..."
"Thank you, master. Your words re- encouraged my will to fight. So, as you have said before..."
"Let's overcome these odds together! Prepare yourself, Ruler!"
"HAAAAAAAHHHH!"
She lifts her sword, and charges at the servant blocking the way to the holy grail.
*Final battle begins*

*After the battle*
"But I have no regrets. Just as life is an endless cycle, war too will endure. You are proof of that." said Twice.
After saying his piece, he starts to fade. He's then seen, walking past Hakuno Kishinami and Rin.
*They now discuss on what could have happened if things taken a turn for the worst*
...
"But things could've ended worse. I probably would have lost to Twice, not due to lack of skill, but of heart." said Rin.
"That's why I am glad you're the one who made it to the end. I want you to know that I truly mean that."
After Rin said what she wanted to say, Hakuno Kishinami slowly starts to walk towards the holy grail.
Once he reaches the holy grail, he slowly extends his hand and touches the core of the moon cell.
Immediately, after he touches it, he's seen, floating in water.
*He then discusses with himself on Twice's beliefs.*

*Once he notices Saber, that's when she speaks*
"This is your final duty as a Master, correct? Then it is only natural that I am present at this time." said Saber.
"Especially since it seems as if this is a time when you are in need of my strength."
"So that's what she's doing. With the additional presence, the time the moon cell needs to finish the elimination process is increased."
"As is her way, she has come to aid her worthless master one final time."
"-? This...appears to be you. What does 'cyrogenic storage' mean?"
*Hakuno Kishinami receives information on who he is*
...
Since he is going to be deleted by the moon cell soon, He then decides to give Rin Tohsaka information on where, and what he truly is. He also gives information on where Katsuragi Keima's family is, in order to inform them of his death.
"...Fair enough. I dislike being the loser, and now that you exist on the outside, I'll track you down." said Rin.
...
"And if I can manage it at all, I want our reunion to be on a rooftop, somewhere with a beautiful view."
"Until then-please wait for me. I will come and find you. I promise."
"Now...the first task for me to complete is to inform of the family of Katsuragi Keima that he died."
"Ugh...That is not going to be fun..."
She takes time to read information that's been given to her on Katsuragi Keima.
"Eh?! This guy is related to new hell? Well, at least that clears up all of my suspicions on him..."
"Maybe it should be best to contact them and his employer on the circumstances right now..."
"Alright...it's time to go."
She is then seen, walking, towards whatever her destination is.
*The credits play*
"I am not sure I understand, but do you mean that you have an existence outside of this world?" said Saber.
"And you do have my permission to visit me occasionally. Actually, come anytime you wish!"
"I be happy to see you again. it makes me happy to know that our relationship won't be ending soon."
*Hakuno Kishinami then debates on how it's his responsibility to have as strong relationship with his servant*

Katsuragi Keima was seen, watching the events recorded, in the holy grail, alongside Tamamo.
"...So another person was in the grail? How unexpected..."
"And he then decides to attack the winner?"
Katsuragi Keima sighs.
"This is just like what you see in those classical RPG games..."
He hears a faint chant.
"Oh? It seems like we are being summoned to fight in another holy grail war..."
"Alright, Tamamo. Let's answer our summons, shall we?"
"Ah yes. That reminds me of something I want to ask of you,Tamamo."
"Let's meet up again later, after our Holy Grail Wars are over, okay?"
"Hai! Goshujin-sama! I can't wait for it!" said Tamamo no mae, with a beaming smile.
"Heh. That's good to know." said Katsuragi Keima
Before Caster and the man gets summoned,to be fought in another holy grail war, he was heard, saying some words out loud.
"Hakuno Kishinami, huh?"
"What an interesting protagonist..."
*He is someone I should definitely keep my tabs on.*
