This thread is for AEGIS, a tabletop game that got released a few months ago by Zephyr Workshop.

About A.E.G.I.S.:
A.E.G.I.S. - Combining Robot Strategy Game is a tactics game where players use teams of five combining robots to face off against each other in an explosive showdown. Your squad of robots share energy and fight as one united front, and engage in intuitive dice-based combat. Players can combine their smaller robots into larger, more powerful ones mid-fight to change the tide of battle, offering uniquely shifting strategies. There are over 80 different robots of five distinct Classes (Assault, Evasive, Guard, Intel, Support), and finding the right strategies and combos among robots are the keys to victory. A.E.G.I.S. is designed to be more accessible and affordable than your average tactics wargame, with the same huge depth of strategy. Quick to play, easy to learn, and with near-infinite possibilities, newcomers to the strategy game scene and wargaming veterans alike love this game, and you will too! It's the team-building and charm of Pokémon meets the colorful combining robots of Power Rangers meets the strategy of Advance Wars!

It can't be understated that A.E.G.I.S. has been a pure passion project. We didn't just set out to build a game, we set out to build an IP: a world with a distinct style all its own, but still familiar enough to pull at the heartstrings of fans everywhere who love fighting Super Robots. From Power Rangers to GaoGaiGar, Gurren Lagann to Voltron, Medabots to Evangelion, G Gundam to Getter Robo, and everything in between... This is it. This is the definitive tabletop game about explosive, combining robot combat, and we put everything we had into it.

A.E.G.I.S is launching in one box with over 80 robots in it, for endless robot-fighting and team combinations. This is a stand-alone game for 2-4 players which will retail for $60, but is available to Kickstarter backers for $49 with free US shipping.

I hope people show interest because this game has spiked in popularity since its development. As a play tester who closely interacted with one of its developers, I can certainly say this game has incredible potential. :)
