(BTW, does it matter for this vote if there is or isn't a space between the brackets and the username? If it does matter, I've seen at least a couple of votes that don't have that space and would therefore be incorrectly formatted.)

FWIW, I bowed out of a nomination like 3 elections ago because I was feeling burnt out, so that might be what you're remembering.
