Isn't this way too much, when Rhaegar doesn't haven have a Valyrian steel sword? Also, I doubt Tywin would give up a change to reforge Brightroar.

No, the Doom receding has allowed a lot of VS weapons from Valyria to become accessible and spread. Presumably, Aemon found a seller from Essos that obtained one of the newly discovered weapons. Tywin wants a VS blade with a history. Otherwise he could have purchased one from Essos.

Yeah, I'm not expecting a win by any means...I imagine the likes of Selmy will have crazy modifiers that we are unlikely to overcome but we should do good in the tourney. Make it past a few people and so on.
